- I updated my buddy's Trimui Smart Pro using the "recovery" sd method. Doing it this way might be safer since the actual flashing part is done using a 2nd sd card.
Firmware:

Thank you for actually knowing what you are doing. This stupid update was like pulling hens teeth before I found this!
the "balena" application creates a hidden partition on the SD card, is this normal?
How did you get Retroarch to show up as an app? On mine it doesn’t show up and I also don’t have a separate Ports section.
Did you transfer the files from the new base package?
I did all of the steps but none of the games downlaoded from the base package file are there
I bought this model with a 128GB card. How do I update to this new firmware with Vulcan? Can I update with the same SD card that came with it? I don't intend to change the card at this time
You should clone everything from that micro SD card that came with your console to a brand name micro SD card like Sandisk or Samsung. The no name SD cards that come with these have a high failure rate. Then update the firmware on the console and update the brand name microSD card.
Can i go from 1.0.2 straight to 1.0.4? Of do i have to update first to 1.0.3?
Thanks for warning not to flash the original card.
Is this method safe?
Followed the video using a sandisk sd card for flashing... the console got frozen while updating the firmware and now I have a brick... Not that sure that this method is safer than others
And what now?
Is this a necessary step before adding tomato OS?
Any idea how I could get a flash tool for android/chromebook? I'm trying to surprise my girlfriend with one of these. thx
I recommend using rufus
Hi guys.
I accidentally dropped my Trimui Smart Pro in water...I turned it off and the next day I opened it to dry the inside of the console.
I wanted to remove the battery but I used a screwdriver. I messed up by going a little too hard and saw a spark.
After which, I managed to peel it off with a plastic card.
Now I would like to find another battery, but I can't find any on google. I wrote to Trimui, I am waiting for a response. But if you know where I can find one, I'm interested.
Thank you so much.
i’d just buy a whole brand new one, i mean it’s not like their pocket breaking
so to make update of the firmware I should use separate empty card, not the one with all the rom files as it's gonna be wiped?
It seems that with the new update the sticks must be calibrated
This one belongs to my buddy. He probably hasn't even calibrated them at all since he plays mostly lower end stuff.
Do you by chance know how to apply the hotfixes released for 1.0.4?
The zip package contains instructions written in the image. You need to put the file on the SD card .awimg and in the console volume - and power button
My mac doesn't recognize the sd card that came with the Trim. So i can't update and put some new games into it. What do i do?
Get a new sd card
bless u 🙏
My device came with games. I think if u copy the empty rom folder over, u will delete the roms. R u able to confirm?
Thats what i did. i copied the games i wanted
I need help, when I Play gta the Settings are always on OpenGL and when I change it to Vulkan and restart it there is no sound and despite it the settings are on OpenGL and there is no more an option for Vulkan. What’s is the problem here??
Go to setting- audio settings- global volume box is set to muted. Unchecked the box n the sound should work.
In the psp emulator.
Trimui or E6 which do you prefer?
the chip of the trimui es more powerful
Can you play 3ds on this device?
Ds not 3ds.
it's a pity that with the stock firmware u only have a few emulators here. with tomatoOS you have over 100. but as long as tomatoOS is "only" a "beta", I don't want to use it!
It's in Release 1 now.
@@mainelylocks whut? there are just as few emulators in release 1.0.4 as before!!!
exactly 36!!! that's really few!!!
with tomato os you have 103...think about it :)
Tomato OS is the way to goooooo!
wtf are showing
