I’m not sure, it may eventually, but it hasn’t to this point! The lime green yarn I have since made into a hat and worn lots and washed multiple times and it is still very vibrant!

From what I've learnt, its not so much as being rough with the yarn. Its that you boiled it, causing it to felt together
