Love the content! Great work keeping up with 3.0. As per the tentative timeline posted on T9A forum it will be a very busy 1/2 year or more of rules and army book changes. I can’t wait to follow along as rules and pts change along the way.
Of course 3.0 changed a lot for Daemons. Most of the Greater Daemons lost mobility. We lost parry. Distracting only going to 5+ hits Courtesan. The steadfast rules hurt Hoarders and Greater Daemons that rely on high resilience. New Spear rules hurt Miser hard. DL rules got streamlined (most units are on the same off/def split now: 3/5, 4/4 or 5/3. But we lost some Ap and resilience in the process. DL have a hard time adjusting to the new edition.
Hoarders also gained by being a robust anvil in a game where that quality is very scarce. 240 points for 12 res5 wounds with a 5++ - and Hoarders and DL in general gained quite a bit from units breaking more often - no need to kill the last 19 imperial halberdiers anymore! With pouncing on flanks being so incredibly valuable - DL having army-wide swiftstride has only increased in value. For units like Fleshhounds its also a brave new world to have access to swift reforms etc For me DL are looking very hot in 3.0 - I would say one of my top 5 maybe even top 3 books to play atm! Cheers!
@Herminard interesting! Nice take, appreciate putting the thoughts down. It seems UK hasn't quite got the message from the looks of the first tourney but I'm sure we'll catch up! Spears are now their nemesis though haha (L6s)

Hoarders now start with 0 Grinds. So they only have 4 Grinds in the fifth combat phase
@@nomisdragon And they also lost their stomp attacks too, so 3.0 ver Hoarders are not nearly as effective as the 2.0 version.
