- Scott Klusendorf emphasizes four important actions that churches must take in addressing the issue of abortion. Firstly, they need to preach a Biblical view of human value, highlighting the dignity of every human being. Secondly, churches must preach that abortion is a sinful act that takes the life of a person created in God's image. Thirdly, it is crucial to equip church members with the skills to articulate a pro-life stance in the public sphere. He notes the lack of pro-life apologetics presentations in many churches, leading to a lack of knowledge among younger generations.
Karen Swallow Prior highlights the fact that churches should provide ministry and support for individuals who have experienced the emotional wounds of abortion, emphasizing the forgiveness and healing offered through the Gospel. By avoiding guilt trips, churches can better facilitate the healing process. Ultimately, churches must play an active role in addressing abortion and supporting individuals in fulfilling their unique God-given purposes.

A biblical view of human life would require the same punishment for a woman who has an abortion or medical person that performs an abortion as someone who murders a person in any other stage of life. The second we lessen that punishment is the moment we lessen the value of the life of those in the womb.
This makes a lot of sense.
According to CDC statistics, 85% of women who have abortions are unmarried. I think a big contribution that churches can make is to speak against sex outside of marriage. The best option is to prevent these pregnancies.
Sex education IS pro-life NOT forcing a religion onto ppl.
Maybe rephrase/rethink the idea of calling large churches the "best" churches. Presenting a thoughtful argument is necessary, but people who don't have saving faith in Jesus might not be persuaded by an argument no matter how good it is so we really need to continue to pray for people's salvation.
