"Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock just ran that girl down." Your analysis of Terry's death was the funniest shit EVER. And I love how you basically blame the whole movie on Detroit. Epic.
Let me just say, I delivered in Detroit downtown and west on I96 from downtown for 18 years in a semi truck..not once did I ever have a problem with anybody in that city. Yeah, it was rundown, but since I grew up 25 miles south of Gary, IN, but let me tell you something...Gary is worse than Detroit. The population has declined by 80% since 1980 from shootings. There's no one left to kill. Lol
This was originally going to be an episode of The X Files, where Mulder and Scully meet a teenager whom has the ability to predict other people's deaths. However it was then turned into the movie we have now.
@@TheSilverJedi Not just the teacher (she's also married to the writer Glen Morgan). The religious guy at the airport was in The X-Files / Millennium. @@kentkatchem It is true. It was supposed to be an episode when Morgan And Wong were showrunners during the early years of the X Files. But the script and ideas got bigger than an episode of television and became its own thing. The original title of the movie was 'Flight 180' but it changed to 'Final Destination'
"We could run with scissors" literally had me dying of laughter loud enough for the whole house to hear. That's the most adorable shit I've heard in a while 🤣😂
I floor it when passing those types of trucks. (It's OK, my car is nothing special... I don't get tire spin or anything). I just want to get around them, fast as my slow little car will go. Speed limits be damned.
I always viewed the Undertaker in this as Death personified, explaining to the boy why all this would have to happen. Sort of a hat tip to a kid who had managed the impossible, but who would have to be tidied up for the sake of the overall plan. Maybe even a hint to not fight it and perhaps Death might make his end easier.
After rewatching the series, I think Tony Todd’s character is kind of like Charon from Greek mythology. He was the ferryman of the dead, who bridged the gap between the worlds of living and dead. Like @swordspace2000 mentioned being the undertaker is at a crossroads, and in the movie Tod is being prepared for the “underworld” which is the cremation chamber we see. That’s just my opinion though, I love trying to figure this stuff out and brainstorm with other fans.
I was on a plane over Christmas, Dec 18th, that fell several hundred feet out of nowhere... It injured 36 people and sent 11 to the hospital. I watched someone next to me go flying into the ceiling before smashing back into the ground. It was absolutely terrifying. It was a miracle no one died.. The stewardesses at the back of the plane were hurt the worst... I will never fly again after that. It was Hawaiian Air 35.
And that is why I always keep the seatbelt on when seated. When the seatbelt light turns off and half the passengers unbuckle just because, I'm like, do you not enjoy the shape of your skull?
This is weird because my brother’s fiancé, who is a flight attendant, got hurt really bad around Christmas time on a flight that did the same thing! Her leg was broken in three places. She’s still recovering. I’m just wondering if it was the same flight? 😲
@@Mazra42 haha! Same! I always kept my belt on, so I was okay, other than my lap being covered in someone's drink! The woman that went into the ceiling next to me was just sitting down from getting back from the bathroom and I don't even think she had time to strap back in!
@@lisaspikes4291 it's possible! There was a blonde flight attendant a row in front of me around 40-45 years old that broke her ankle, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were more breaks in her leg... She was a trooper, too... Still was helping the passengers as her ankle just kept swelling...

Also, as someone who deals with circuit boards and 90%+ isopropyl alcohol every day of his life.. That computer scene makes me shake my head. Vodka could never make an arc like that (based on volume of alcohol and other contaminates). There is more than enough circuit protection in those CRT monitors to prevent that kind of arcing to occur, even with the most sediment heavy water you could find in a distillery.

the first FD is interesting because it’s got some great ideas but doesn’t become fully realized until the second one. then the franchise just becomes “more of the same”. at a certain point, you should just watch a highlight reel all the “incidents”.
True story I had to fly to see my family for Christmas 3 months after I watched this movie … man I was gripping the shit out of my arm rest the whole damn 3 hour flight I was scared out of my mind the whole time heh

@@lindziodowd8609 I know it's not widely considered horror, but it's got a lot of the staples of the genre and the violent deaths alone usually turn my mom away.
Fun fact: the Alka-Seltzer scene immediately after Terri's death (bus death) was added because test audiences found the death so intense that they needed a minute to calm down.
I'm just gonna throw this out there, EOM, you are a good soul to put up with people making you jump all the time. If I may offer some suggestions, of course I know you got your patreon people and maybe they'll see some of these and put em on the poll. Frailty from 2001. A Simple Plan from 1998. Day of the Dead from 1985. (My personal favorite zombie movie.) Darkman from 1990. Solomon Kane from 2009. The Shadow from 1994.
Apparently this movie had an alternate ending where Alex dies at the end and it’s revealed that Clear later has Alex’s kid and Clear and Carter go on to live the rest of their lives. There was also a scene that was cut out before all the end shenanigans where Clear’s using a pregnancy test and it comes out positive. Apparently test audiences hated the ending, so they changed it to what it is now, which is why it seems so abrupt and Clear has blonde hair because the scene was filmed way later. If you want to check out the alternate ending you can find it on UA-cam.

And I’m so sorry that the bus death hit you so hard 😢 This franchise is what got me into the horror genre, which I had no interest in for many years. I found this movie randomly on tv and I only started watching at the beginning of miss Lewton’s death…and it just sucked me in… as the movies progress they get more and more creative with the deaths… I love how it’s not WHO is going to die, but HOW are they going to die?

I stumbled upon your channel last week with your Titanic reaction. And oh my god 😂😂 I’m so glad I found this channel. You are freaking fabulously hilarious.
I'm excited for Jay to check out the sequel, because to me, this was funny as Hell! Also, I'm so sorry for laughing at you, Jay, for being startled. I just love newbies getting into horror and getting scared. Here's an occult/spiritual lesson I learned about Death; This is specifically in regard to Death Gods (yes, there's more than one God of Death, like the Shinigami of Japan) Each of them are different, like they have varying personalities and forms. Their goal however is to collect the dying or those whose time has come. They're even associated with specific types of death. Odin/Freya claim the dead who died in battle, Hel takes those who die from natural causes, but violent deaths as I learned are caused by Camazotz (Mayan God of Death). Now, the ones I listed here, are just examples of what type of Death Gods there are. The benevolent ones who escort to the afterlife peacefully, even with a pleasant characteristic like they're your best friend. The malevolent ones, well, you saw pretty good examples in this movie. They do their job because they either delight in it or, to them, it's just a form of duty. So, in my opinion, this Death depiction is like Camazotz, who violently causes the demise of their victims. Stifler getting his head lobbed off was a tip off for me. You also can prevent someone from dying, but if you do, that Death God is going to take it personally, like in one Japanese story about a guy who saves people from dying, and he saved this one rich guy's life and that Shinigami was pissed, he caused that man's brutal demise. Though, once a person is dead, you can't bring them back. Save them from death, sure, but once it's over, there's nothing you can do.
I loved J's shirt, his comment about toilet water moon-walking back and the numerous monologues about the futility of keeping bodily functions in check. Excellent reaction and editing on this one, I forgot how entertaining this movie is. God bless you guys with excellence!!
This week has been a week of firsts. The first time I've seen any of this weeks movies is on this channel. I have been pleasantly surprised by all the movies. When the arm popped up and the bus hit the girl, I jumped too. Fortunately farting wasn't involved. 😉I have flown many times and the closest I came to having anything bad happen was when I was leaving Athens Greece and just as the plane lifted off the ground there was an explosion. The pilot said that a car bomb blew up in the parking lot.

the first FD is interesting because it’s got some great ideas but doesn’t become fully realized until the second one. then the franchise just becomes “more of the same”. at a certain point, you should just watch a highlight reel all the “incidents”.
The 2nd is the best one of them all and pretty much traumatized an entire generation with its opening so can't wait for that to come
Death IS petty, that reaction is priceless!
I was just thinking that you really need to watch this series! Loved watching you during the Saw series
I have never clicked on something so fast. Please watch part 2 ASAP.
True story I had to fly to see my family for Christmas 3 months after I watched this movie … man I was gripping the shit out of my arm rest the whole damn 3 hour flight I was scared out of my mind the whole time heh
I've never been able to decide whether I "like" these movies. I always end up wondering what the heck I just watched. But I keep watching them. Does that mean I like them?
@4:11 I recognized Brendan Fehr, who was in X-Men: First Class, Roswell, Bones, and Royally Wrapped for Christmas.
'Ol girl, in her mind she still talkin'. Lmaooooo
I'm looking forward to more Final Destination reactions!
The Speed reference was too much! Hilarious!!! Definitely would be interested to see you watch the rest of the films in the franchise.
The first movie is my all-time favorite it's got the original OG in it the Candyman himself!
My mom can't handle horror movies, but for some crazy reason she loves this series. Awesome video as always Jay, Blank, and the co-pilots. Looking forward to the next one
I know they classify it technically as horror but this more a Thriller or Mystery nothing too scary about this
@@lindziodowd8609 I know it's not widely considered horror, but it's got a lot of the staples of the genre and the violent deaths alone usually turn my mom away.
"He don't look like he been touching water no more"😂😂😂
This will make this movie from a horror to a comedy
I just can’t decide what I like better: watching JL scream through these or the full lecture at the end. 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
(My personal favorite zombie movie.)
Darkman from 1990.
Solomon Kane from 2009.
The Shadow from 1994.
i cant wait until he watches part 2.. i still cant drive behind a log truck without thinking about that movie
Omg ur dog was the star of the show!!! 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 ❤❤❤❤ and ur reactions were just priceless! great insights! You’re totally right about the ending! And I’m so sorry that the bus death hit you so hard 😢
This franchise is what got me into the horror genre, which I had no interest in for many years. I found this movie randomly on tv and I only started watching at the beginning of miss Lewton’s death…and it just sucked me in… as the movies progress they get more and more creative with the deaths… I love how it’s not WHO is going to die, but HOW are they going to die?
Awesome reaction my guy as always, although I couldn't focus at the beginning for the longest time due to being distracted.. The co-pilots were stealing the show back there, giving each other thorough ear exams in the background..😂😂 Much love, Murda Whistle..❤✌🏻
I can't wait for Jay to watch the rest of the Final Destination(s). There should be a counter for every time he says, "Death is petty."
"Is that key to the plot?" Used to be my favorite line.
Also, I wonder if Jay realized who Tony Todd's character is. Or, should he just wait a few movies to realize who he is? 😂
Everytime i kill someone in a game now i shout “THANKS FOR PLAYIN”😂❤
Great series with the exception of #4 but still worth watching for creativity.
I did enjoy it , your reaction when the arm moved,🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 laughed out loud. The best death scene was the teacher ❤❤.
2nd movie was good, Clair is in it. 3&4 were okay. #5 was full circle 😮😂
Clear. Her name is Clear Rivers.
what you can expect from this reaction:
"SHUT UP"
"thanks for playing"
something that only JL would say
I missed the first five minutes of the reaction because I couldn't stop looking at the dog licking the other dog. I was enraptured.
The stunned silence at the bus death. wow, that one hit hard
The murder whistle get jumpy like I do just when watching regular movies now a horror film I’m excited 😂
This series is really good up through the third one. It gets a little redundant after that, but still worth the watch, and it does all tie together. I look forward to wathcing the others with you.
Why does he calling himself the murder whistle make me laugh so hard? LOL
Go watch the American History X reaction. Go about 22 mins in and just wait for the rant. After that everybody just started calling me the Murder Whistle - J
Please add the movie Evolution to your list of options. It’s such a good comedy and it also has Stiffler in it.
And I would love him to react to Planet Terror as well
I second Evolution!
"Y'all ain't gonna pull in? How you gonna leave somebody on the side of the road? " Brilliant lol
“We can smoke….we can run with scissors” haha
The beggining 😂,the bus scene IS hilarious too 😂Please réact to the whole franchise! The second and the last ARE really good.Classic horror movie.
I stumbled upon your channel last week with your Titanic reaction. And oh my god 😂😂 I’m so glad I found this channel. You are freaking fabulously hilarious.
Greatly appreciate that and welcome to the family - J
So many good 1 liners! I love this channel 😍
Great reaction to this one, J! You jumped a lot - I hope your gut settles down quickly! GANG GANG 😂
I was lucky enough to see this in the theater when it first came out. Sneak preview double feature with this great supernatural time travel film called Frequency. Packed theater and everyone was into both films. It was AWESOME. One of the funnest theater experiences I’ve ever had.
