I'm so jealous of your eating experiences! When you return to the States, I would love to see a video where you talk about what you learned about Indian food after visiting India. Did you have any preconceptions that were challenged? Were any of your stereotypes present? How did the same dishes made in India compare to what you've had in US restaurants? What would you tell Americans about your most memorable food experience? Looking forward to your next video!

Thank you for taking us along your journey of culinary discovery. Natgeo should put you on to their Discovery channel, for the insight and sheer delight you bring to all of us .Nice going Conner-sseurs.

Awesome content Chad and Joy. It has been almost over 30 years that I have been to Rajinder da Dhaba. It was a small shop back then. But all the preparations were amazing back then. Good to know that they have good tasting preparations now as well. That place is a iconic place for non vegetarian Delhites.

Chad & Joy, been following your India vlogs especially loved the one where you were invited by a family in Pune. It was good to see you visiting the iconic Rajendar Da Dhaba. Brought back my childhood memories when me and my friends used to frequent it. And then back in the 80s it was not where it used to be but under a Banyan tree very close to its current location. Even back then it was really popular.

    Hey Chad & Joy :
You guys seem to have done a thorough research while planning a visit to New Delhi, deciding on venues you need to pay a visit.
I was amazed to see you visiting 'Rajinder Da Dhaba' and then the Samosa place --- enjoying the variety they each had to offer. Am sure while finding the roadside stuff not only cheap, you must have enjoyed some very unique and new savories & desserts, which you have yet not come while exploring Indian food joints within the US or other places across the globe.
Have a wonderful time exploring newer and newer venues on your visit to India. We love to see you enjoy and eat to your heart fill. It makes us feel proud in you appreciating the India food stuff you have.

I am guessing that the paan samosa had a filling of 'gulkand'(rose petal jam). It's a heavenly combination. Delhi is a food lovers destination. Do visit the paranta gali( paranta street). Try the chole bature, matar kulche and all the different kinds of 'chaat'...a local would guide you well through the labyrinthine, colorful and aromatic lanes of Delhi.

Super awesome video .. my mouth was literally watering.. perfect review.. I never went to rajender daba . I will keep it in my list. Each an every state has thier own authentic food. Must visit. U might need many trios in india. All of states are diverse from each other but all together under one flag..

Rajinders dhaba was a large shack with a thatch roof , across the road from where it is now. Our college was nearby and a lot of alcohol was consumed consuming rajinders kababs and blessing him.

Wonderful episode. Just a tip when you taste chutneys expect the spicy ones to be green and sweet ones to be red or brown (a little counter intuitive)
