It was bound to happen sooner or later...
Overall, I really think MEIKO V3 Power surpasses V1 MEIKO by a long shot. Her voice quality is amazing, yet hard to control at some times. It was a real pain when rendering these in Piapro Studio. Still, I can't wait until she's officially released!!

I just don't understand how can anyone not like Meiko or Luka, I just love how mature their voices is. I wish both of them could get a great spotlight. MEIKO IS AWESOME HOW CAN NOT ANYONE SEE THIS! IM A BIG FAN OF MEIKO V3.

This..._this_, friends, is what it's all about. The big problem with a V3 update is that, well, Meiko has had so few bad songs that it's hard to demonstrate the improvement.
I remember how rough, especially in the high register, the original Change Me was, so I was definitely looking forward to this.
And I gotta say...this nails it. She sounds like a star here.
Crypton has a super, super Vocaloid in the pipeline, and her star is going to be brighter than ever. I just know it.
Someone please do Nostalogic! :-D
hawaiidkw It's just a damn shame Miku is the only one really shining in the fanbase. I've never heard such a realistic sounding vocaloid as V3 MEIKO though. Oh God does this make V1 sound obsolete, really V1 MEIKO sounds like a robot. I can tell the difference between the two right away.
I love both the V1 and V3 equally. V3 sounds so realistic and it carries so much of MEIKO's improvements through the years.

I like the original, but the highs are ear-grating. I didn't know anyone did a V3 cover, but I knew for a while how vastly superior V3 MEIKO is to V1. This completely fixes the cringing I always have when I hear the shrill high notes, now I can actually enjoy Change Me to its fullest. I have to see Shu-T's version as well, because I doubt it can surpass this.
I listened to Shu-T's version too but I much prefer this one.

This is my favourite Meiko song ;o; You did such a great job using Meiko V3! I just have a feeling her Power Append just... is lacking Power... I expected it to be more loud and well... powerful..?
It may be with the way I mixed it. ^^;
I really didn't want to vocals to be too loud, or else it'd be hard for the vocals blend perfectly in with the instrumental. Not too loud, nor too soft.

For right now, there's a 14-day trial demo of her Power voicebank, which you can download from her official webpage. crypton.co.jp/mp/pages/prod/vocaloid/meikov3.jsp
It also comes with Piapro Studio, which you can run with Studio One or any program that utilizes VST plugins. However it's only compatible with Kaito V3, Miku V3, and Meiko V3 only.

I´ll tell my opinion straight. Meiko is great. V1 or V3, both are great, though i like V1 more, if I would tell, 100 000+ people would be against my opinion at all, RIGHT? Cover is really nice, good work. But, if you compare the two versions (yours and original), you´ll find out Meiko in this cover sings, as well as she shouts into void, in original she may not be shouting much but she´s singing. Hope you got me right. Don´t take me like I intend to say ´it´s bad, you should redo it from scratch´ or something like that, I want to say that, shouting isn´t as same as singing but even that is needed in songs. It´s all nice but, shouting isn´t good always. I´m not mad or anything,so do not make yourself to be as well, readers or creator, i mean both of you. And with that, thank you for your time reading this. Sorry it´s so long, i could not stop my hands. My bad
It depends on the person using the vocaloid really. I, too prefer V1 version, because of that raspiness in her voice, it made her sound her a bit motherly and sad, V3 sounds younger, power append especially sounds more feminine and cheery. Also, this one is a bit emotionless, the person who used Meiko in the original is clearly very professionnal with her.
