I haven’t uploaded in a week! had a lot of the architecture work to do (I’m making a video on that). I’ve also cut my thumb, you might have seen the plaster on it. (all will be explained) Anyways, keep drawing and creating. Hope you enjoy this episode. #vlogumentation
Wow! That was so cool the way you did that background. You make the most amazing videos. Don’t change a thing. You are the best channel I have ever seen, and I have probably nearing 200 channels I subscribe to.
Love your tutorials ... wish I could draw as well as you ... just a beginner here. lol I've learned a lot from watching you draw. Thank you for taking the time to make all of these videos and sharing them.
Your drawing is amazing Dan. I started learning to draw in January last year and I really struggled. When I found you I really liked how you explained everything and was mesmerized by your drawing and I have really improved. I keep practicing all your tutorials. I could easily watch you in real time for every video. You are a lovely lad and I hope that you are able to carry on doing this for a long, long time. :-)
Try using Command brand Velcro strips. We use them to hang pictures and framed photos and artwork. It’s easy to move them around if you need to and they don’t harm the walls. I just recently found your channel and have watched every video. I appreciate your instruction and admire your artwork. I hadn’t drawn in almost 30 years and my new guy has encouraged me to start drawing again. It’s taking time but it’s coming back to me and everyone I know loves my artwork. Thank you for your videos. I’m now a huge fan of yours. Can’t wait to see the next video.
Omg this helped me a lot and I really love those shades love your drawing by the way May I request a video on how to draw the reflection on those sunglasses they really caught my attention Keep up the good work though
Dan, buddy before i start i just wanna say im 10 years old and i LOVE drawing and doodling and i NEED insperation. Looks like i came to the right place.....
Amazing drawing! Just found you and started following awhile ago. Do you use fixative for your drawings and if so what kind? How do you protect your drawings? Would you consider doing a vid about that? Love your work! :)
I enjoyed getting to know you a little better through this video. I follow you under Tabpenrod on instagram also. Love the addition to your picture although I am so out of touch I have no clue who he is. ♥️
Dan, I really enjoy watching your videos, they're quite inspiring. I'm happy to have stumbled onto your channel. How are you able to handle your work so freely without smudging? I've noticed in several instances you grab the finished side like its just a newspaper and have no deterioration of the image.
Another great and insightful video! By the way, you use a lot of electronic music in your videos and was wondering if you've ever heard of Uppermost? I think you might like their music. Keep up the great work!!
Dan, I like drawing portraits and adding an interesting yet not overpowering background is what I’d like to try next. More often than not it seems the only idea I come up with is alternating between the light and dark tones depending on the light in reference. Do you have any suggestions for me? I did watch this video but it seems I’m still stuck. Man I sure would appreciate any additional help on creating backgrounds for pencil/charcoal drawings. Thanks.
I’ve been subscribed to you for awhile. I’m really digging your content as well as style. What video editing software do you use? Keep up the good work! After watching this video I have decided to turn on the notifications button! 🔥🎨
The wide angle lens is really good. You seem to have injured both of your hands, how did you manage that. I hope it wasn't drawing. Really enjoy what you are doing.
Love this video. When you figure out how to keep your drawings on the wall, let us know. I heard blue painters tape may work, without ruining the art. Except blue tape is not pretty. How did you hurt your hand?
Thanks for sharing your drawing techniques and advise. I feel encouraged by your ability to create wonderful detailed drawing using minimal materials and work space. Your videos are helping me with my need for creative expression.
Bro, I am trying my best to raise some If I can say "fame" to this channel. Since I draw myself for about 10 years now (1 year more or less) I've actually seen some stuff here that I never did before. You helped me so much so I will try at least with my fellow artist friends to share this channel as much as possible! IT IS DISGUSTING HOW UNDERRATED YOU ARE BRO!
Nice lense :)...your detailing on that city scape was awesome, but I have to ask.. how the devil do you get into your studio... Haha.. panning the camera around makes it look like there isnt even floor room for a trapdoor!
I'm 18. My drawing ways almost look alike urs one. Just like the way u draw gandalf. I can draw things almost perfect in a longer time. But my university examination need us to draw in a short time like about 6hours. Im a type of people that who need a longer time to draw, I'm not really can done things nice in a shorter time.Any suggestions for me I will be really appreciate 😂
Good stuff! I enjoy my wide-angle lens also. I liked seeing your studio. I have a small workspace that I’ll put on my website when I get it organized. I think your personality and the sound of your voice combine to make for a really appealing presentation. (I was taught by Irish nuns for 8 years (1950-57) & you really sound great to me. I am mimicking you: Buying everything you use from Kuru Toga’s to Pencil Pouch by Bianyo. It turns out that I’m getting good equipment through your example. I want to record my drawings and edit them into videos, mostly for myself, so comments about placement of camera and that stuff could help me. I learn so much from you DUE TO YOUR EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS. Do you have an email for private comments?

Dan Beardshaw wow , you are so great , its isnt tht easy to draw small particles like that
It's great the way the walls of your studio are able to redecorate themselves, just by waiting until the drawings fall off. Very clever.
Larned Justin It’s like a scene from Harry Potter
Ha!
Wow! That was so cool the way you did that background. You make the most amazing videos. Don’t change a thing. You are the best channel I have ever seen, and I have probably nearing 200 channels I subscribe to.

I didn't think it would look better with a background but it did make him pop out a bit. I like the skyline left open on one side.
