Love the truck hate the motor which is why every video you see everybody waits to the end of the video to let you hear the exhaust because if they started the video out with the sound of the exhaust most people would probably not watch the video
Not gonna lie it sounds like one of those tuned civics you see driving around. Looks great and is plenty fast but I dont buy trucks for speed. I'd honesty rather just have no exhaust note at all.
@angrybeavers1175 I probably am but I'll take my v8 hemi rumble over this anyday. I own a BMW M240 and it sounds nothing like this in my humble opinion.
@@R_00Nso you just admitted you have no use for the actual function. Your preference is "sound". That's what toddlers do. Play. I need a vehicle to work, haul, occasionally tow, and navigate unimproved roads and trails. For all of this the Hurricane is a superior power train in a Ram 1500.
I don't see how anyone can go buy a six-cylinder knowing that next year Dodge is already releasing the Hemi for the 2026 since 2003 I've owned Ram trucks with the V8 and it's not going to kill me to wait one year because that exhaust sounds horrible
Nice truck i have a 3yr old XLT f150 5.0 i love fully loaded i ordered but that truck looks great i like the passenger thing in the box where you said audio book man nice
There's yet another model that will sit collecting dust in the dealer lots because of the absurd pricing... will they ever learn that people have had enough of this?
the challenged people should not post. Ram will sell each one just like Ford sells each Raptor. Only entitled people moan about having "enough". Sales outside of Stellantis in the pickup market are either up or the same.
@@davidporter7051 Only "challenged" people think they have the right to say who can or can't post (you lost the election remember???). Entitled people are the ones who don't have a problem with $84k prices.
Hey bro u might want to edit out the part where you said the backseat has massage function 11:21 they only recline and have heated/ventilated function. 🤫
When you are walking around and filming why did you have to take your piece out and put it on the ground? If you carry all the time, I’m sure it has a holster.
Let us all just say it: NO, this is NOT a TRX, but neither is a Raptor Ecoboost a R, which very very few people can attain because theyre still selling for $125K+. But in return, the RHO offers even better capability and capacity, a refreshed interior, and an I-6 engine that offers performance thats not too far off of a stock TRX. Also considering this truck stickers for LESS than a Limited, Limited Longhorn, and Tungsten, its a win-win.
The RHO absolutely does not offer better capability or capacity, has the same exact interior as last year with no refresh, and the I6 doesn't offer anywhere NEAR TRX performance. In fact, it doesn't out-perform a stock Hemi 5.7. It gets the exact same MPG, but on premium. And it doesn't develop any of the TQ/HP numbers Stellantis keeps gaslighting people with until way up in the RPM band, when the turbos finally wake up. Thing is, since we're no longer allowed to shift gears for ourselves, that ECU is going to shift as early as possible and keep the RPMs as low as possible for as long as possible to try to maintain what little fuel economy it has. So, you're never going to see those higher numbers. And it's still grotesquely overpriced for what it is.
@meadmaker4525 the interior did in fact receive enhancements. This truck has a payload of nearly 1400lbs, whereas my loaded TRX is barely 1000. And as much as I love the 5.7, this truck smokes it in every metric, in fact is the fastest factory truck sold today outside of a Raptor R.(and the Hurricane has been dyno'd multiple times to show that its ponies are underrated). All for $30-40K less in price over a TRX. Yes...we ALL miss the Hellcat but lets not pretend this truck doesn't have its own merits.
@@hellkitty1014 - If you're talking about the cheap passenger screen they added instead of the 2nd glove box, that's not an enhancement. The rest of the interior is literally the same. Zero changes. My local dealer confirmed this when I asked. Payload increased in the RHO because the engine weighs less than the one in the TRX. Otherwise, again, zero changes. In a car or a Jeep, the hurricane would probably be excellent (aside from the thermostat failure problems bricking the engine, excessive carbon buildup on intake valves, oil leaks, and turbos failing or detonating - all known recurrent issues with this engine). But in a truck, which by definition needs low-end torque and grunt to haul and tow, this engine just doesn't cut it. Ford and Toyota are learning that lesson right now to the tune of massive recalls. The hurricane looks great on paper. That's fair enough. And I'm not so stuck on the Hemi that I can't appreciate a "better" engine option, but this really isn't it. The I6 configuration is a good one (Cummins, etc), but it lacks sufficient displacement and the turbos are just not going to cut it. The engine is going to kill itself trying to meet the requirements of a truck (again, see Ford, Toyota, etc.). As for price, the TRX pricing was way outside the realm of reason for what it was. This is mostly the same truck, but with a poorer engine, for still way too much money. The more people continue to pay these prices, the more manufacturers and dealers will continue to believe that's what they're worth. I'm sure there are people with more money than sense who will buy these things, but I don't intend to be one of them. I'll stick with my Hemi for now and hope the new leadership Stellantis will come up with something better in the near future. The Ramcharger and Ram EV are still to come. Have to wait and see whether not they sh*t the bed with those, like they did the new Charger EV.
RHO is the phenom of autos. Absolute perfection for our line of work in security. The interior is beyond ridiculously amazing and they are already embarrassing fords every other video online. 5 to 10 years from now there will be thousands of people will be questioning why the fk did they spend that kind of money for something they don’t even have anymore. These trucks are not worth the money. @hellkitty1014 at least it has full projection headlights, led brake lights, H.O. amazing suspension. There's a point when your base model top model is worse than an aftermarket special. Trx has the same issue without level 2.
I can't see myself buying a 2025 Ram 1500 RHO 6 cylinder knowing that next year Ram is bringing back the Hemi. Listening to the motor sounds disgusting when I've had a V8 hemi since 2003. Sorry can't do it
6 cylinder turbo in a full size truck. No thanks. V8 all day over this. When this v6 turbo goes bad and it will it's fing badddd. The v6 or 3 cylinder engines with turbos is an emissions game. They are over working a tiny under displacement engine to run with a standard v8...
