I recently applied for a full time work for a local public transportation agency for a position of bus driver, I’m currently applying for a Commercial Driver License or CDL

Living with your parents while working is one of the best financial decisions one can make. I was able to save or invest almost all of my minimum wage job salary for 1.5 years. Then, I moved to student housing with two roommates, and the rent is dirt cheap €335 a month for a 13 m² in a recently renovated apartment building. For context, the market-rate for studios is €600-€850 a month in the city I'm living in, depending on the prestige of the area. My partner has already graduated, and they moved back to living with their parents. They're now able to save/invest 75% of the salary that they earn in their own field. Many people don't have the same opportunities as we do. So, we should understand our good fortune. You guys are definitely making a great decision. You're guys are off to a great start in your financial life. In addition to living with family members, finding out about a great personal finance book on saving, investing and spending meaningfully has helped us be in the financial position that we're in. The book is called I Will Teach You to Be Rich, and its author is Ramit Sethi. I decided to suggest the book to you as it seems to me that you may actually read it if somebody were to recommend it.
Girl you're so real and motivating me as well, I'm in my 30s. Also, for the honey, try putting the jar in a pot of hot water (just submerging it partially), it will loosen the solid honey and the lid as well.
sending virtual hugs to everyone in this comment section 🥹💌 I’m a final year uni student and some people think that I’m extremely privileged just because I didn’t have to get a part-time job in between semester breaks. but the truth is the opposite, I was rejected for most of the part-time job and I’ve always been guilty relying on my parents. I hope I can pay them back in the future 😢
Honestly, there is no reason to feel guilty for that. Life for younger folks is extremely tough nowadays and the reality is that some folks have a leg up on others who just have less. That may sound privileged, but that's just reality. I had to rely on my parents after I rejected from a part-time job during uni as well! So don't feel bad about it, your parents love you for what you do. Always remember that.
Don't feel guilty. I wasn't working when I was in college while I always wanted to have a part-time job. School is challenging, work is not easy, doing both is tough.
@@thelifewithnate I don't agree with your comment even though you may feel that way. I have some younger folks having a good start than me while I never gave up, I never had the opportunity for anything.

You can put the whole honey jar in a saucepan, fill the pan with water and then put it on the stove and wait for the water to boil. It we'll melt the honey without breaking the jar ^-^
I’m like you. My kitchen light went out- so I just use my stove light 😂. I was using the laundry room light but it went out too. So I just use the dryer or washer light. My dryer heat went out so I just use the cold air cycle. The list goes on & on & on 😂😂😂😂
My first and maybe most rewarding place of employment was for an American grocer where I also learned more useful tidbits which have and to this day serve my life well.
Put your honey in a pan of water half way up the jar and bring it to a simmer, it will melt the crystals in your honey. You can do it every time it gets like that.

I’m a final year uni student and some people think that I’m extremely privileged just because I didn’t have to get a part-time job in between semester breaks. but the truth is the opposite, I was rejected for most of the part-time job and I’ve always been guilty relying on my parents.
Hey girlie!!! Love this video, it really inspired me to try and be more independent. I’m really struggling with a BPD diagnosis right now, but this video put me in a more positive mind frame about my future. Thank you 🙏

as a 20 year old who move out for college and lives alone and also vlogs this video really hit close home.
Love your honesty
I am 19 years old and I still live with my parents and I am currently cheating on my 12th grade online school to graduate and I been sleeping at 5 AM and I am scared of the dark and fear of people judging my appearance that I look like a kid. I can’t drive and I resort to walking and my parents they still treat me as if I was 10 years old being pestered to shower and brush everyday.
Your vlog makes me feel cozy ❤
It’s been 20 years since I last lived alone. I was managing an ice cream store and bumming about. Spent a lot of time just drinking coffee and reading books. Good times.
I am 22 and working in a grocery store (butcher section)! I actually quite like the job, though it can get tiring being on your feet all day.
Hannah, unscrew the burned out bulb and you'll see what type of connector it has (either a screw in or a bayonet fitting) and then look at the bulb so you get the correct wattage as it will be written on it.
If you run hot water from the faucet over the honey jar lid, it will expand and you can easily open it. 15 seconds or so aughta do it.
Love the bare brick, try ginger in your tea, life enhancing goodness will overcome all the tests we face in this purgatory, and faith is the light that guides🙏
That happens to my honey as well. Run the lid under hot water and it will twist off no problem 😊
I loved living alone and working at my small health food store :)
I wish for the life you are at feel lucky of yourself. Some people are struggling to live such free tension free life there age is gone and still can't make earnings to afford proper meals. So keep hustling
You can put the whole honey jar in a saucepan, fill the pan with water and then put it on the stove and wait for the water to boil. It we'll melt the honey without breaking the jar ^-^
Your video is wonderful because it helps to practice English for those who are learning the language.
If you run hot water on the lid of your jar of honey the sugar will melt and you will be able to open it.😊
you work with good people!
I really love your video editing, it makes the video so exciting. Keep it up! Greetings from Switzerland, Susanne
I’m like you. My kitchen light went out- so I just use my stove light 😂. I was using the laundry room light but it went out too. So I just use the dryer or washer light. My dryer heat went out so I just use the cold air cycle. The list goes on & on & on 😂😂😂😂
I dont think i could work a minimum wage job myself, but its nice to see what a large percentage of the work force does.
I like how u show ur arms with scars ! Ur not a trigger warning but a real person ❤❤
My first and maybe most rewarding place of employment was for an American grocer where I also learned more useful tidbits which have and to this day serve my life well.
i know you from tiktok but so happy to see ppl finding your vids on here :)
Thank you so much!! 💚🍇
THATS REAL HONEY!!! It's so weird seeing real honey on a vlog😭😭 i love it!
You could try pouring hot/lukewarm water on the lid part and open it (?
Good idea. Also works on Marmite 😅
Put your honey in a pan of water half way up the jar and bring it to a simmer, it will melt the crystals in your honey. You can do it every time it gets like that.
Simple life best life
You can heat up the honey and it will be good again. Like boil. A cup of water and let it sit in the hot water for like 5? Minutes
I like your style. "Too unbothered by changing light bulbs."
Life hack fir the honey, you can boil water in a pot and the honey will re-liquify
Aww I did my groceries there and would see you around when I was studying abroad last year, hope you’re doing really well :)
“Little life” will break you. Don’t finish it (it broke me for months)
A little life is soooo gooooooodddd😍😍
i dont get why r u so cute bro. hope u have a good and happy life, appreciate you.
Hey, how is rent in Montreal? In Dublin, Ireland an apartment like that would cost a fortune to rent
I got super lucky finding a place within my budget, but the rent in Montreal is a lot better compared to other cities I’ve lived in!
you're really so peaceful to watch! ❤ please always have a grape day! 🍇 btw, may i know what's the website called, too?
Thank youu 💚🍇 and here’s the link for the animation website: sketch.metademolab.com/

Your skin is gorgeous and clear❤
aw ur so sweet ilysm 🤍
Okay firstly they usually sell light bulb at the grocery store were you work and secondly if you run hot water in your sink and put your honey jar under it for a minute the cap will loosen...works for jamm and jelly as well...😅 OK that's enough manexplaining for one day. 😊
I’ve also given up on my appearance when it comes to getting ready for school😂 its too cold
Enjoyed your relaxing vlog! Run that honey jar under hot water. It will open. Glad I found your channel.
are you okay ? I saw the scratch in your left hand. Like a scar but i hope you're doing okay. Look forward for another video. Subscribed :)
