Asics has definitely upped their game the last two years and is finally producing cool designs, with modern technology. The Novablast, metaracer, metasky, glideride.....a really good selection of shoes now.

Coming from Novablast 1, I'm looking forward to get a pair of the new version. I admit it took me a while to break in the shoes but overall happy with the comfort, responsiveness and outsole wear. Happy miles!
Hi Ben. I felt exactly the same didn't excite me and I felt it clunky, I certainly couldn't pick the pace up I've done 8/13/8 mile runs in this shoe and decided I will keep it for slow recovery runs. Disappointing shoe. 👍
I’d didn’t give me that wow factor however for me did seem like it wanted to run fast. I’ll have to keep testing. For me a good shoe but maybe not great :) thanks for your comment, interesting to hear other’s opinions in these shoes :)

So I decided to check out the Italian site misterrunning.com who had my size in stock (in my favorite colorway "Royal Blue"). Just ordered them a few days and would expect them to arrive next week! :)

Nice review, these look pretty good. I really want a pair of the blue Metaracers and the red Metaspeeds they look v nice imo.

Novablast 2 vs rebel v2 as a daily trainer ?
That’s a tough one. I’d have to go rebel at this point but as I get more miles in the novablast thinks may change :)

I rotated between the hoka Clifton 6, hoka bondi, Nike infinity react and the turbo 2 :) of

If I’m totally honest it’s not even close! Mach 4 is my favourite shoe of this year, still, even after some 500km+
