I love that she's created this kind of dialog with Bennett Foddy. Most people don't really pay much attention to him at all, but for me, his dialog and the journey you go through with him is what makes the experience so good.
Bennett Foddy's commentary is such an enjoyable part of watching streams of this game and watching Calli react to him instead of ignoring him is certainly nice
Yeah, I totally agree! I had to quit the game tbh before it sapped every last bit of sanityeft from me. It's a unique experience I must say. I'm not the the Demon Souls kinda guy though, so this a new experience for me

Yep, that's what makes this the best english vtuber playthrough I've seen so far. She's actually paying attention and even appreciating the commentary. And in this stream, a couple of his lines had perfect comedic timing, too!
The commentary at the end gave me major goosebumps and tears. I highly advise people to beat the game without ever watching anyone else do it first, the experience is majestic

I know you feel like you failed miserably, but you learned the controls remarkably fast, and take it from someone who has watched a lot of Hololive Getting Over It streams, for a first time stream, you might be one of the best in Hololive. Many of your senpai never made it past the tunnel in several hours, and you did it twice in two hours. I have no doubt you'll finish it eventually.

While this does not seem like a game I would normally enjoy, I would 100% give it a try if or when a Calliope voice over mod is created. Listening to Calli reassure but also slightly taunt the player as you play would provide a fantastic experience that would prevent me from tilting too much

This was a painful experience for sure. Still Calli did really goog for her first attempt. Got farther than I expected. Unfortunate that she pulled a Gura and jinxed herself. if there is a next time, we'll be ready to cheer her on and get even further
Given how she struggled at the tree so long, I thought she would make very little progress but then she proved me wrong. She is a very fast learner and I have to learn to stop underestimating her

This game is pretty frustrating cause I played this like 1 months ago and I give up like after 8 to 9 attempt however seeing this streams makes me feels like willing to try this game again. By first time standards, you were amazing. Very few make it past the lights on their first stream, let alone just over an hour in. But doing it twice? You are getting a remarkably quick grasp of the controls, and it's showing!

The only "calm" Getting over it playthrough I've seen is Okayu's, that catto is just something else. But even she had SOME yelling in her playthrough.

It gets calming when you learn to play the game and start doing it in under 10 min. It is indeed quite relaxing once it stops being a horror game.

This was most certainly a different kind of experience than I expected, but then again, when learning that Calli had no sleep pretty much, I started to guess. :D And really enjoyable Stream. First really nice and calm, but even the sleepiness of the Reaper CANNOT COMPARE TO THE MIGHT OF THIS GAME! Almost everyone who dares to challenge this game, will pay the prize from their lack of vision!

also, when I watched this live, everyone agrees Calli made it to the top of the Devil's Chimney extremely quickly. I think it's really impressive to watch and hear her thought process as the game changes.

You're actually making good progress, especially considering that you apparently didn't watch much of the game before.
Like, i know it might not feel like it and sure, there were setbacks, but aside from the Tree i was surprised at how far you've after all the stress you've been through!

Though, after Bennett quoted Ice T, I think that may have crossed a line.
This game really encapsulates how I feel trying to traverse my day to day life.
Started playing this last month, got pissed off and left at the orange part. Watched a certain Tenshi persevere through it and became determined to finally finish it. Gave up again at the snowball parkour. Watching this Reaper starting through it is giving me the determination to keep on going again.

Okay, first stream I've actually got into watching... Wait, no, SECOND, there was that one Phasmophobia stream I believe I saw a while back... Anyways, first off, that intro animation is funny as hell. Love it to bits. Second of all, start of the stream seemed SHAKY as hell, but I guess its jitters or something from maybe an awkward starting? And i don't mean as in like first-stream jitters, no, I'm actually well aware that there have been other streams before this one. And THIRD of all... You doing okay? You seem tired and possibly pretty stressed from the start... Might have something to do with the second bit, but I'm not certain...
I love the narration of this game, in a bit of a sadistic kinda way, it's like if the game itself is inherently frustrating the narration is the thing that both makes it more irritating sometimes but it also makes it feel like something more than just a kaizo game
