@Autumn Washington less meaningful ending since sean makes a contrasting decision and daniel gets home prisoned or something and followed by authorities. While in this ending, everything is perfect. Someone has to go to prison for people that died or the crimes committed and daniel is free and sean's sacrifice and the ending complete everything. Daniel is free and sean sacrificed his life voluntarily for his brother
I have a little brother who is almost 13 years younger than me. I’m an adult, and he is still a little kid. He annoys the living shit out of me, but I would do anything for him in order to keep him safe. He is even more important to me than my parents and my fiance. In conclusion, I’d do the same for him that Sean does for Daniel, no doubt. This game hits different
@@justsomeoneok-cool Dam. That's so sweet. But hopefully you'll both lead happy lives and not learn he has bizarre superpowers that send you to the border 😉
@RandomGuy4639 Parting Ways seems so... sweet and unrealistic? I really can’t imagine Sean surviving there and not getting shot in some robbery, especially since he’s an illegal immigrant and even in Mexico he probably won't build any "normal life". He will also probably never see Daniel, grandparents, Lyla and his friends. I think it would be very depressing for Sean to be in Mexico all alone.
Everyone's talking about Sean breaking down in the forest, but what completely finishes me off is Daniel crying in his car. It's almost like he's blaming himself for everything that's happened to Sean, but can't do anything about it anymore. Imagine, after all the trauma you had to witness, you're given a chance to go back and have a "decent" childhood/teenagehood and a "normal" life (normal is very subjective, hence the quotations), but in the back of your mind, throughout all those years, you're aware that it's all because your brother gave up his years for yours. Would Daniel even be able to comprehend what kind of sacrifice this is? Damn...
he's 25 in this, so after he became an adult, he probably did realize sean's sacrifice. that's probably why he cried in his car because of that guilt he feels. he blamed himself for sean losing an eye, so he probably blames himself for sean losing his twenties as well.
I mean at the end of the day Daniel is at fault for all of this this but people blame Sean because he's older even though Sean is also a child. No matter what even when people are clear adults the older person person is held more accountable.
No he's 15 remember he was 9 at the events of life is strange 2 and then after the end he was like 15 and his brother is like 21 or 22 @@marshmellow_melmel
Man why do all these endings make me sad. I just miss Sean and Daniel so much. Really hope we get a dlc or full on game with grown up Daniel or ill be sad forever
omg the way daniel tries to run to Sean crying out "No Sean come back" how he starts crying tears running down his face and how Sean replies "Daniel you're not a little wolf anymore never forget who you ar never" is so heartbreaking so is the conversation they have in the car you can hear the emotion in the voices amazing performence by the voice actors and the part where Sean breaks down crying & Daniel comforts him is also so so sad
I wish this took place in the Animated Justice League Universe so that Sean and Danial could get be saved by Superman, Wonder Women and Kevin Conroy's Batman. Batman talks the police out of arresting Sean and Danial while Superman and Wonder Women talk to them.
That moment when you meet the people you loved the most , but to only have memories to talk about ...everything different .. it hurts because you want to live things again with them but you can"t because you took different paths..seeing Daniel crying at 13:12 ..like he is so happy to see Sean after so much time but anything will be the same like before .Daniel living his life and Sean trying to find a purpose in his life ..and I'm crying
Well it seems Sean became an artist ! He even published a comic while in prison (wich is weird but ig it can happen). I like to think he live a brody style kinda life, he seemed to really look up to him and how he lived on the road. I think Sean will be happy in that ending.
sean will never find purpose with that ending he will be always a cop killer,16 years for something he didnt do?,he is clrearly death in the inside, sorry but even the ending where he dies is better.
I still can’t help but cry. This is the most emotional ending for me. The first time I finished this episode seeing Daniel grown up, made me cry so much. And more when I saw them together. Beautiful game. I love life is strange so damn much.
Oh yeah right. Stop with all the lies. U didn’t cry. On the contrary, u were laughing, cheering when your hero agent Flores permanently separated Sean and Daniel. It wouldn’t surprise me if u were savoring every ounce of pain and suffering that Sean endured in jail along with that campfire scene. U were enjoying watching every minute of Sean’s pain that Daniel had to watch just like a parent watching a tape of their child’s cry for them for help before a kidnapper prepares them & forces the parent to watch them die. U can say it. Ur that cold hearted.
@@eliasp92509The Parting ways ending mate at least allows Sean to live his life, he is happy in Mexico there you can meet his love interest again either Finn or Cassidy and damn the lad didn't deserve 15 years of prison with Cassidy who knows perphaps they will end up with a baby eventually so good stuff, it also seems that in that ending his eye healed so another plus in contrast to the redemption ending, here you see more of the cast but really all that people from Lyla to Brody can absolutely visit him in Puerto Lobos easily, brothers separated yes but beyond that best stuff that could happen to them as each one walks their path and can meet if Daniel decides to travel to Mexico that he surely will.
@@quiquemarquez3211 what happy life would Sean have?! 15yrs in prison?! If I’m not mistaken, that’s where they have the worst inmates in the country. Ask anyone what it’s like to be in prison. It’s not a paradise as you make it seem. Prison is meant for one purpose; to break a person a part. Plus, Sean out will deal with depression the rest of his life, no resources, disqualified from majority of jobs. In both federal/state laws, it is illegal for inmates to vote, serve as a public servant, receive financial assistance, & live in cities. Check the laws. Supporting agent Flores to separate the wolf brothers permanently is equivalent to the other UA-camrs that supported Chris watts to walk free after he choked his pregnant wife to death, smothered his daughters and tossed them in oil tanks. We all saw how Daniel begged for Sean to be spared and instead agent Flores laughed at the wolf brothers, ensuring they never come near other just like when Chris watts laughed at his daughters as he was smothering them, with one say “DADDY NO” before she was thrown in an oil tank. Yeah right, happy ending, more like cold blooded ending. A lot of UA-camrs that support “redemption” ending show how truly cold hearted they really are.
It hurts like hell, to say goodbye to your youth together like that. It will never be like it used to be... But eventhough Daniel and Sean feel sadness, they are actually wonderful, rich human beings. Rich of their happy memories when they were young wolves and the love they could feel for eachother. Thinking about the wonderful times, those unforgettable moments, whenever they want to escape for a little while in their new lifes. It hurts, but that shows the happiness they had. Their wounds will heal...living a new life, apart, knowing the other thinks of them, with much happy, loving memories. Not looking back with regret, but with love ~
mean thats worst than the ending where sean died,,after suffering a lot in that journey he has to be sent to prision for 16 years FOR SOMETHING HE DIDNT DO!,he is death in the inside, doesnt have a future because he will always be an ourcast,he is death in the inside, and daniel is not part in his life anymore!,alone and marked as marked as a murdered for ever!,the ending where sean die is even better than this!.
Of course. Crossing border was always more about Sean's dreams and hopes, than Daniel's. To be more harsh: it was selfish as f*ck. But what is beautiful about this game, is the fact that it's entirely up to you which side you'll choose. Of course I chose Daniel's. It's a tearful sacrifice, but as a person who's got an younger brother, I couldn't even think of any other option.
Maciej Bachorski to be fair it was more about Esteban’s dreams of going back to Puerto Lobos which he passed onto Sean. I don’t think Sean ever really wanted to go there but it was logically the only place they had left in which they could be free
Perhaps its a cool nod to the native American heritage they had obsidian glass objects back then so he probably had one made from that black glass instead of normal clear
I deeply believe that although they're going in different directions, they for sure still love each other very much and will meet again and again cause there is no force and no amount of time which would break their love for each other
i think they're just both adults with their own things going on at this point. But the fact that they're doing lil road trips and still have a lot to bond over makes me really happy, and it's nice that Daniel is independant and going his own way, because in the blood brothers ending he really doesn't seem to be who he aspire to be.
This song...... I feel like the guitar represents Sean, and the piano represents Daniel. In the beginning, the game is all about Sean and how he wants to get to Puerto Lobos, hence the guitar in the beginning of the song. Towards the middle, when the piano is introduced to the song, it represents how the two brothers rely on each other for support. In the end, when it's just the piano playing, it represents Daniel, how this ending, and overall journey, is made to have a better life for him.
Cool interpretation, but the piano also plays after Daniel wrecks the border station in Blood Brothers. So, this leitmotif isn't just for Daniel, it's for *both* brothers.
I’m late to the party, but when Sean and Daniel parted ways did anyone else notice Sean was driving the car his dad was fixing for him at the beginning of the game 😭
I feel like every thing during Lifs 2 from the start till the border just came rushing through him at that moment like a fucking car of emotions felt throughout going 90km/ph straight to a border wall. It was really just pain then relief for him to finally see a fucking good conclusion (His lil brother not ded and has good life and him being once morea normal citizen after serving his sentence) to all the fucking mess caused by some fucking bully
Him seeing how his little brother growing up and leading a good life after nurturing him during what I would call a realistic fucking nightmare probably made him cry
@@therabbidt I just hope Daniel understands how much of a human Sean is, and despite that, how much Sean has tried to do the right thing anyway maaaan :'C
I am glad I didn't chose this ending. I chose the ending where he crosses the border. I felt Sean didn't commit any crime so he didn't deserve 15 years in prison
eliasp92509 seriously, people say Daniel was a kid but so was Sean. And besides it was literally Daniel who killed the officer and started the fight, Sean did nothing wrong that entire day, everything else was just for their own survival and self defence
@@mozzy1268 being honest if I was Sean I'd have stayed layed down because I mean the police wouldnt have known what the fuck happened if everyone who survived was laying unconscious.
Same the only reason I didn’t Change my ending from redemption to the one where they cross the boarder is because I have this personal rule with these types of games to never go back and change my decisions
I got this ending but felt the same way as you.... I hadn't had any spoilers so had no clue what was going to happen. I didn't want to stop for the cops , but at the same time I was terrified that busting through the border would either lead to daniel and/or sean being killed, or at the very least daniel ending up in a dangerous and immoral life. I surrendered for the same reason that I made every other choice in the game; to protect Daniel. Redemption still made me sad as hell, but at least I can rest easy knowing I did everything I could to keep daniel safe and though it wasnt all happy, everyone got to live their lives free and clear.
This ending broke me so much. The fact Sean goes to prison for 15 years when he hasn't even done anything wrong. He's doing it for his little brother who had killed the police officer and he has to suffer for Daniel's bullshit, but I guess you protect family the best way you can, even if you lose that many years of your life to give your younger brother a normal life without becoming a criminal or running from the police for the rest of your life. But the damage it's done to Sean, just the severe depression and separation from his family is horrible. And I don't understand why they drove off in opposite ways either. Was Sean gone for good? I also romanced Finn, what about him? It's all just so messy.
This game broke me, I hated that they separated like that. I like to think that Sean went to create his art inspired by the adventures they had and became a successful artist but still was in close contact with Daniel and the rest of his family, just so I could feel a little better about this ending but to be honest none of the endings were happy endings just like in real life I guess.
ikr. The more I think about it, the more it kills me. I'm warming to it after thought though.... its heart-breaking that Sean unfairly lost so much of his life in prison like that, but ultimately he did it all for Daniel. This ending may see the brothers separated, but that meant Daniel got a free, moral life i.e what his father and sean wanted for him from the beginning. After gaining his freedom Sean was clearly devastated when reminiscing on time lost with daniel, but in the end he still got at least half his life free and clear; all the while knowing that while his bond with daniel wasnt the same, at least his brother was safe and on the right path despite all they went through.
Game defo hits harder when you have a little brother yourself and the age gap is basically same as Sean and Daniels. My bro pisses me off but I would do anything to protect him
It was very hard for me to play this game through; especially the final ending. I kind of don't want to play it again to see the different ending because the entire storyline is just so unfair.
Lone Wolf doesn't seem as sad, because it doesn't feel like a "legitimate" ending. It feels more like a "what could have been" if you screw up too badly, not an actual ending. To me anyway.
Good god this game killed me. I actually had to play it through right after my first one because of the postgame depression. Sean and Daniel’s adventure was the best story ive ever experienced. I know that i’ll probably be back to this game each year, along with LiS1. I really hope LiS3 or a dlc for LiS2 comes soon. I love this game....
@Murv yes the trauma is bad but morally Sean is still himself and chose to no longer be a criminal. He is no longer on the run nor guilty, at the price of missing out on Daniels child hood and his young adult hood though
This ending is jus sad tbh Sean is a empty soul that spent 15 years in prison wasting his 20s locked up inside it’s not even Sean anymore he is jus empty
Life is Unfair. They don't deserve any of these endings. I truly hate this world. 15 years of jail, or exile for what ?Never stole anything ?Never hurted anyone ?Being honest ?Running away this fucking world ?No matter how he tried to do his best, how he loves Daniel, he can't do anything 'bout all this shit. I cried for days after finished the game and they don't deserve any endings. They had to be happy. In family.
amm bloodbrothers and part way are perfect good endings, dont know why do people approves the worst ending (yes, because the one where sean dies is even better than that ending) as aceptable?
This ending made me cried so much. Both brothers going back to their first adventure site. It is heart breaking seeing Sean seem so broken as he was hearing about Daniel's life. I can only imagine what was Sean feeling. On the one hand, he is happy Daniel grow up good and healthy but on another hand, hearing Daniel's life, made him feel broken and thinking to himself that 15 years of his life gone by just like that. I hope Sean finds peace to where ever he is going. It has been quite a journey with the wolf brothers. If time were to reset, I would still make the same choices and choose the same ending. I know in my heart that Papa wolf would smile in heaven and would be proud of Sean's action.
This ending is terrible... so sad... the whole point of the game was for the wolfs to stick together. Im glad I got the ending where they get to Puerto lobos and have their own shop.
Same ending and same opinion here. Redemption might be my 2nd preference mainly because how conclusive and emotional it feels, but I'm definitely not comfortable with letting all our efforts and our bond go to hell like that. And in this unjust way, too. I dunno, morality and lawfulness feel like such abstract values anyway, especially in this situation where, at the end of the day, they kinda fail us.
That ending made me cry so much, like at first playing life is strange 1 I got really addicted and I wanted to try the second one and I just fell in love with the characters so much in this one like the story was so beautiful yet so sad and you really get to feel what Sean feels a lot during the game and at that ending I couldn’t stop myself from crying I love the game so much, you could feel the main character’s emotions like how he has so much pride for Daniel and all of the things that happened in the past, hands down the best game. 😌
I was extremely happy with my ending. I didn’t surrender and they ended up going over the border together. Gangs tried to raid their garage but Daniel protected them. Then they both enjoyed a beer on the beach. I was so happy they got to stay together!! That’s all I wanted for Daniel❤️ I almost surrendered but I was like “I did NOT come this far just for that” so I took the chance. Also, Daniel looks so much like his mother when he’s older.
Be happy you chose not to surrender. If you had, Sean would have died because Daniel would have refused. Blood Brothers/Lone Wolf are the low morality endings.
@@mbg140897 "what would that be showing Dan?!" Idk but that was showing him that it's okay to kill cops to get their way so ya know. Swings and roundabouts. Life as a fugitive with no normal friends and family vs getting to live a normal life, but without your brother. As a brother, I would take the hit for my siblings rather than make them fugitives.
I'm really glad it wasnt any longer than 15. I mean no joke thats a long ass time, and he didnt deserve that, but still I wouldn't have been surprised if he could have done worse.
I saw a lot of people criticising this ending, but I liked it, it fit my gameplay, I think (also, I always seem to go for the lawful chocies lol). I replayed to see how Parting Ways goes and wasn't fully satisfied... Buuuuut... I think that neither options are perfect and both hurt as hell, just in different ways. And that's what Life is Strange is about.
Sean was not happy even when he got out you can tell he went to prison at 16 and got out at 30 didn’t get to even enjoy his 20s and probably had a hard time trying to find a job cause of his criminal record and Imagine what he went through in prison
he already had a comic published, so I think he got some source of money. He can always rely on Brody too. The man is rich, and told in his blog he would send some money to Mexico (he is willing to give some money for his friends). All in all, this ending is pretty optimistic to me
Sean goes to prison for federal crimes, from twice escaping federal custody to federal auto theft. People here are forgetting that he stole a car in California and drove it to Nevada.
I got the Nice "Blood Brothers" ending! That had to be the best ending out of all of them. Sean is alive, Everyone is! They got there own Mechanic place.
To me this is the best ending they stay together in Mexico they are free not harrassed by police, the only thing I might have added was a puppy for them and Matthew and the grandparents to come visit. The ending where Daniel gets sent to grandparents is bitter sweet. Sean gets punished harshly for a crime he is largely innocent of and the family gets separated. And they don't even stay together after Sean gets out of jail. I wanted the Dias brothers to be together forever. I do like that Daniel gets a puppy.
There's no correct ending, each player is a world, but the best of them (my opinion) is the Redemption high morality one. It's very sad and not fair, yes, I cried, but for me, they wouldn't kill lifes to cross the border, even if they deserve happiness and justice they are more than that. It was painful, but they have really good hearts. And even if they were apart and Sean went to jail some time, their bond is unbreakable. It's just my opinion as I said. I love them and they deserved the best. ❤️
I couldn’t stop crying, I cried, and cried and cried, it was genuinely devastating seeing how Sean had to give up on everything for Daniel to live a more “normal” life and giving up everything also meant giving up seeing his little brother growing up, it’s genuinely heartbreaking seeing how much they changed and how time passed, Sean never got the opportunity to fully see Daniel grow up and couldn’t be there for most crimes he didn’t commit, and seeing Sean breakdown in the forest of episode one was devastating as much as seeing Daniel cry in his car after Sean left, this game genuinely ruined me, I love it but I feel like it really affected my mental health, I wanted to play it again but after this I’m not sure if I can take it
@@skylerrasmussen1975 what kind of excuse is that? I guess your under the assumption a story staying put after your dad died and discovering your brother has superpowers doesnt have substance. A person could make a story about a guy reflecting on life while staring at paint dry. But no, youd rather prefer braindead awful writing.
I personally think this is the best possible ending, Sean turns himself in and gets released in 15 years. Sure he lost 15 years of his life with his brother, but at least now he's a free man and doesn't have to run from the law anymore.
@@Tequila4Days Beats being a wanted man the rest of your life in my books.15 years isn't that bad considering he was suspected of murdering an officer.
True, also they can see each other whenever they want, and live like they would have lived if Esteban wasn't dead. Also, there's this ending with Lyla... So Sean will probably be better one day, with his bestfriend with him, all his friends, his freedom and his family (no more father, but we give you back your mother ^^)
Apparently you don’t get that no one with a criminal record has ever succeeded in careers once their released. When Sean is out, he literally has no future left.
Endings from best to worst: 1: Sean escapes to Mexico and finds Cassidy and Finn. He’ll have a happy life with his best friend Finn... and who knows, maybe one day he might end up marrying Cassidy. While Daniel has a normal life with his grandparents, and hopefully will come to meet Max Caulfield someday... 2: Blood brothers. Sean and Daniel live in Mexico together. Maybe they might meet Cassidy and Finn again... maybe. 3: Sean goes to prison and loses half his life while Daniel has a normal one... 4: Lone wolf. Sean dies, no one except Daniel remembers him. And Daniel wastes his life as a criminal. He’ll never find love, not happiness. He’ll be a man with an incredible gift... a superpower. But he’ll have wasted it. Because he couldn’t cooperate with the way society works...
By best to worst do you mean from the ending you hated most to the one you hated least, or do you mean like from sad to saddest one? It's kinda vague what you actually mean.
awesometacular Best in general. Being free in Mexico, and having life choices in the US is the best. Pretty normal life. Where’s Sean being dead and Daniel being a criminal is the worst
@@CameraDev it’s more of your opinion since someone else could say otherwise to me personally when Sean lost half of his life he could had spent with his older brother now out of prison and had to separate is the best in my opinion
Honestly, this is stupid because how the police had evidence on Sean's murderer for that cop? If only they find out the truth that it was THEIR own officer who starts it all. I hate how no real good ending they had.
even if they didnt count the cop murder, they had proof he burned up the church and maybe even killed lisbeth etc. he escaped the hospital and participated in a heist (even if he said no), he worked in an illegal pot farm and maybe stole stuff if u made him to that in the game. he ran away and didnt turn himself in which made him look guilty. its so sad because if i read about all this stuff on the newspaper, i would be scared of sean and wonder why he isnt in jail for his whole life. but now that i played as sean, i feel so bad. media really can twist stuff..
Ali Alatrach very true because on his grandpas computer there were people discussing the video evidence...which means fhey could see Sean didn’t do shit
@@alialatrach9788 i mean that's the problem. You talk to a police officer in episode5 who i feel said it best. You could at least pleade innocent to the cop's death. There wasn't any actual evidence that he did it and there was a chance for sean to be found innocent. But sean running not only made him look guilty but he ended up commenting a bunch of crimes along the way. Not to mention Daniel was never in danger of ever going to jail so there was no reason to take him to mexico. All taking him to mexico did is deprive him of a chance to have a normal life and force daniel to be a criminal
I did it for daniel. There would have been long lasting trauma no matter what i did and i wanted daniel to have some peace. I also didnt want both of them to be running forever surely they couldnt be happy like that either. I don't thjnk there is right choice i just made the one i would make. At least they have many adult years to reconnect in peace now despite everything.
Sean lost his life and his soul with it, he will never recover from it, he was shattered and what hurt the most that he didn't do all of that, Daniel was the one who caused all these crisis!! I chose to surround as if it was the best choice but this ending made my cry a lot as well as hating Daniel more! Sean deserved better 😭!
I know, I feel exactly the same which is why I never go for this ending, only played it once to record this video. I find it even sadder than the one where Sean is shot dead.
@@juan9746 For the sake of Daniel living a normal life. As much as people think them living in Mexico together is great, they're pretty much criminals and Daniel just doesn't seem all that content with it.
@@deletedwaffles Oh yes, exactly. And that's the definition of true, unselfish love, isn't it? A willingness to sacrifice your own dreams for another person. It comes with a heartbreaking price to pay, yes but if you want Daniel to live the best possible life, if you want to create a bond that can never be torn apart by a physical distance, this one final time you have to let it go.
I agree that's why in my opinion this is the best ending. I felt like Sean trying to drag daniel with him to mexico was really selfish in the first place. Sean was the onlly one who could have actually faced jail time but by dragging daniel along with him it deprives Daniel of the chance to ever have a normal life. I understand wanting the two of them to stay together but Daniel is just some confused kid. But sean is the one who freaked out, ran away, started working at a pot farm, stole a car and a whole bunch of other stuff when he could have at least tried to pleade innocent if they never ran away. Sean didnt deserve to go to prision for murdering a cop but he obviously wasn't innocent.
Personally, I would never, ever, ever choose this ending, or any ending that would separate them. I understand that it is probably perceived as the most selfless choice that Sean can make, to give Daniel a future where he is not a criminal, but at what cost? Effectively losing your brother, the person closest to you, I don't think I could stand it. No matter what your fate is, the thing that matters the most is that your loved ones are next to you to help you face it, and there's nothing I'd trade that for
So you'd force your brother to be a criminal and live in a country he doesn't even know the language of and he's vocalize multiple times he doesn't even want to go to mexico
I wanted to like Sean and Daniel and in the end I really did. The things they display in the game I wasn’t 100% about happening in real life, but being that I’m half hispanic and from New York what do I know? There are definitely signs of racism behind every aspect of American life. Even as a hispanic looking mixed man, I have felt it, however I have never had it directly towards me and in a violent emotionally damaging manner. I have been lucky in that regard, however in other parts of the USA and the world I might not be so lucky. What this game taught me is basically never put yourself in a situation where you can get blamed for defending yourself, whatever meanness is done to you take it, wear it like armor, and keep your freedom at all costs. The thing about racism is that you can’t fight it, it will always exist, prejudice will always exist. So instead treat others how you would like to be treated.
I liked this ending because Sean went to jail for his brother so that Daniel can have a normal life. What people forget is this ending is YOUR choice meaning you sacrificed everything just for Daniel to have the best life and you choosing to surrender gives him that life. When I first played this I got the Parting Ways ending but I didn't like that ending because 1. Sean and Daniel were seperated and 2. Daniel is under house arrest because of YOUR actions. I get that Sean is a broken man when you choose to surrender but sometimes that's the price you have to pay when you want to give Daniel the happiest life he can have. I'm not saying this is a "good" ending, far from it, this seems like the ending where you sacrifice everything to create peace and that's exactly what you did if you decide to get this ending.
It's hard for people to grasp at the situation because it's not their own but if Daniel were my brother I'd sacrifice my life for him to live a normal one. As much as people liked the one where they end up being together in Mexico you can tell life won't ever be just normal for Daniel.
House arrest is temporary, once it’s over, he can visit Sean. If u remember from this ending, they go their own ways anyway. So it doesn’t make a difference.
@@deletedwaffles exactly! Unfortunetely, I got "Blood Brothers" ending :( i mean, they ended up together, but lonely and unhappy together, with no possibilites or alternatives. Redemption and Partying Waves are sad, unfair, but still the best options according to me.
@@eliasp92509 I mean Sean is 33 and Daniel is 24. They are adults. One of them with an already established life, the other still needing to establish his life again now that he's finally free. Even if they grow up normal, they would not spend their life together at this age anymore. Just because they go their separate ways does not mean that it's a final goodbye for literally no reason. Just that they have their own lives and their own goals. This is the most normal ending you can get tbh. Rather a free man than a fugitive for the rest of your life, dragging your brother into your shit along with you.
I didn't thought the story of a game could make me cry so hard and for days, this story is sooo emotional, the connection that Sean and Daniel have it's beautiful and so powerfull that I just feel that all those endings are shit for them. They deserved better, my two wolf brothers love them forever😭❤
Not a great ending, blood brothers is by far better, or the one where they seperate is even better. this one he surrenders to the system that destroyed him and his brothers lifes and answers for a crime he didnt commit while losing his childhood with his brother. i dont see any advantage to this one over the others.
@@mozzy1268 On the other hand, who would believe that a 9 year old killed a full grown man that was both trained and was armed. Blood brothers is a good ending if we don't care about Sean and Dan's moralities, and the separation imo is the worst. In Redemption at least they can meet *whenever they want to* while in the separated ending, they will likely never see each other again considering Sean can never go back to the States even if he wants to. In Redemption, Sean lives on the road and travels the country much like Brody does. Which gives him the freedom to visit his mom, Daniel, their grandparents, Lyla or other friends any time he wants. He's a free man now and not a fugitive. One could argue that he can't get a job but like. He's a damn good artist? Patreon and such exist. There's people who can sustain more than their monthly lives in decent enough apartments by posting their art on the internet, he can more than sustain his life on the road by doing the same, maybe even starting the superwolf comics, which to me is implied he did that. The cover of a superwolf comic is shown during the ending, with Sean's signature on it. He's an artist. Not a mechanic. Him making a living through his art is honestly the best ending for him imo, and not living out his father's dreams out of sentimentality. Esteban would probably be happier knowing his son is a free man who gets to go wherever he wants and gets to make a living through his art, than knowing his son is a fugitive that can never enter the States anymore to visit his loved ones. Esteban might be from Puerto Lobos, but he went to the States for a reason. I don't think he wanted his kids to end up in Puerto Lobos permanently. As I said, Blood Brothers is the lowest morality the brothers can get. Especially since they actually kill to get through the border (well, Daniel does, but you're the one that gives the greenlight.) Not to mention, Daniel doesn't look happy in the flashforward of that ending either, and Sean just looks like an ass. Also, I def don't think Sean was jailed for the cop in the end. 15 years seem very little for "killing" a cop. Like he was told after they got caught at the border, he literally could've pleaded innocent for the cop because there were zero evidence to what happened anyways. What he was in hot shit for, was everything else he did afterwards, like working at an illegal pot farm, stealing a car, going as far as to assault Joey if you make that choice etc. Sure, Sean has to still pay with 15 years of his life for bullshit, but after that he's clean and free to go, not to mention he doesn't force his little brother into it, nor does he corrupt Dan's morality in the process just for his own needs to stay together. Going to mexico doesn't fix their lives. It just cements it as it is. Two fugitive boys with nothing to their name, who now learned that they are willing to kill because their own needs are more important than others'. Far from home. Far from anyone they loved. No chance at even the semblance of a normal life anymore. Redemption let's Dan live a normal life in the end, and lets Sean relearn to live afterwards, as well as potentially let him live his own dreams rather than what he thinks is his father's dream.
I was very late to this game, just finished today and was curious if thus ending I didnt pick. I think I'm happy with my choice to bust through the border. Sean deserves freedom.
I tried to get this ending as I thought I had high morality but I didn't so I ended up with lone wolf but since I didn't want Sean to die I chose blood brother ending. I'll probably do a new playthrough so I can try and get the redemption ending. Can anyone give me tips on how to make Daniel's morality high?
teach him not to curse, spend time with him, give him the things he wants, uphold the law (don't steal, don't abuse/kill people). Overall set a good example by teaching mercy and honor.
the honest title of this ending would be 'all for nothing'. i really hate it. it's not only sad, but so utterly unfair, both to the characters and to the player. 15 years in prison! for what? no camera footage, no fingerprints, no weapon! only words of some racist neighbor. there's ZERO evidence pointing at Sean, but here we are.
This game has no happy ending. If they end up apart, you know they'll never see each other again and it hurts. In this ending we find a broken Sean and a Daniel who feels guilty for all that has happened.
All this could've been avoided if Sean didn't freak out in the beginning... Damn man... This is the best ending tbh, yeah Sean lost 15 years of his life but at least he has everyone back (even Lyla, if u didnt fuck up) and can have a normal life again being FREE to be in the US where he has a chance to build a better life than in some repair shop It really, really sucks the time he spent on prison, but cmon, like I said, he is completely free now (and lets not act like he couldnt get visited by his family and friends during those years) it was a sacrifice to give his brother the best life possible, and Daniel was happy in the end (maybe feeling a little bit guilty, but happy overall, unlike in blood brothers where he clearly is not that happy)
I feel objectively this was the best and most logical in terms of storytelling, but the scene where they're camping in the woods together where it all started and Daniel is telling him stories and Sean breaks down crying destroyed me, which I'm unhappy about. I also feel kinda the same about parting ways, though that was more unsatisfying than sad
@@endofyeww20the most logical is both going to Puerto Lobos to be free from racism which started all these. Surrendering is just pointless to me. Why did you have to go through all of the struggle just to surrender in the end? Might as well surrender in Episode 1 or 2. Redemption is the 2nd worst ending next to Lone wolf. Blood brothers is best since the brothers stuck to each other and got the freedom they deserve. Parting ways is 2nd because they still got the life they wanted but separated.
Imagine if they met Max and they gave her a picture just before all this happend and basically went back in time and prevented this whole shit show from happening.
I just replayed it to platinum the game and I ended up getting this ending. I 100% agree this is the way it should end no matter what but I got the end with Lyla showing up too by calling her both of the times you’re able to so if u want her their that’s a way you can get her there. Best ending out of all 7 of them.
I picked the Blood Brothers ending and I’m glad because this breaks my heart. Sean didn’t deserve to go to prison or be alone. Daniel was probably relatively okay being with his grandparents but this isn’t worth it. After all that I wasn’t going to let them lose each other too.
I tried to play life is strange 2 when it came out but just never finished it. I just did now and got the blood brothers ending. Yea they're still criminals but I just couldn't do this ending, it literally makes me cry so much
What sucks the most, in the entire game there's no choice for sean to explain what really happened and he will always suffer and take the blame for his lil brother
proud of what?, why take crime when u inocent ?,daniel is the one who killed the officer and thats is torturing, and sean, doesnt have a future as a cop killer,he is mentally and emotionally death, esteban would prefeer blood brothers a hundred times.
I finished playing Life is Strange 2 some time ago, before COVID. The whole situation with the virus and George Floyd. There are also many other situations that occur around the world and lives can flip just like that. I mean, I love this series and it has matured me with every decision I've made. I definitely do not regret how I played and reaching this ending! Protecting Daniel was how I perceived their brotherhood and I could not see Sean doing it any other way. It's also the most realistic ending [as in, minus the powers]. If they were runaways in this day and age, someone would need to make the sacrifice and I would give anything to protect my little sibling. Wishes to everybody and hope you all are safe. xx
This ending is seriously sad its true, but so are all the endings. Lone wolf is an amazing ending in terms of cinematics, emotion etc. but imo that would have made me even more depressed if I'd got that ending..... I mean come on, yeh Daniel's free and has his powers, but he's living with the fact he caused Sean's death after everything they went through and all Sean did to protect him; its clear from the final scenes of lone wolf that daniel is mentally destroyed and will never be the same. In Redemption they may have been separated and lost their bond (which is heartbreaking) but ultimately Daniel got to live a full free and moral life, what their father wanted for them. Sean was definitely screwed over, but he did it for his brother, and ultimately he too got free and clear + still had half his life to live knowing that his debts were paid and Daniel was safe. Imo as much as I love the the Blood Brothers ending, I still think this ending is what I'd want if the plot was real life... its exactly what I would have done for my bro.
@@adammidderigh4150 I don't think they lost their bond. It's just a different bond. If you play your cards right you establish a bond that can in no way be destroyed by distanced. They are just simply adults now. Sean at 33 having to integrate back to society and find his purpose, Daniel at 24 having an already established life with friends and such. This would happen even if the brothers grew up normal. No doubt they still meet often, it's just that their goals are not tied to surviving together anymore and they have different goals. The bonds is still there, it just evolved.
He gave up and suffered everything to give Daniel a happy life, and he still suffers for it
@Autumn Washington Me too. I am ashamed to say I sobbed
@@FearTheSentinel_999 Sean went to prison for 15 years though, so daniel would be around 25 and sean would be 32-33
If you really look at it tho I think Sean decided he needed to move away or sum bc Sean went up the road and Daniel went the opposite way
Man why do all these endings make me sad. I just miss Sean and Daniel so much. Really hope we get a dlc or full on game with grown up Daniel or ill be sad forever
I'm still depressed because of the ending
omg the way daniel tries to run to Sean crying out "No Sean come back" how he starts crying tears running down his face and how Sean replies "Daniel you're not a little wolf anymore never forget who you ar never" is so heartbreaking so is the conversation they have in the car you can hear the emotion in the voices amazing performence by the voice actors and the part where Sean breaks down crying & Daniel comforts him is also so so sad
@@4everanarsenalfan It's majestically depressing
I wish this took place in the Animated Justice League Universe so that Sean and Danial could get be saved by Superman, Wonder Women
and Kevin Conroy's Batman. Batman talks the police out of arresting Sean and Danial while Superman and Wonder Women talk to them.
Justin Lawliet and then Sean & Daniel can go,live together at Clair and Stephens
“Daniel! You’re not a little wolf anymore! Never forget who you are... never..”
O
I love life is strange so damn much.
is the worst ending, even the one where he dies is better.
@@eliasp92509what is wrong with you
@@eliasp92509The Parting ways ending mate at least allows Sean to live his life, he is happy in Mexico there you can meet his love interest again either Finn or Cassidy and damn the lad didn't deserve 15 years of prison with Cassidy who knows perphaps they will end up with a baby eventually so good stuff, it also seems that in that ending his eye healed so another plus in contrast to the redemption ending, here you see more of the cast but really all that people from Lyla to Brody can absolutely visit him in Puerto Lobos easily, brothers separated yes but beyond that best stuff that could happen to them as each one walks their path and can meet if Daniel decides to travel to Mexico that he surely will.

Did you guys notice that in this ending Sean's fake eye is white but in blood brothers it's black? It's a not so subtle hint at his moral standings.
@@maciejbachorski953 but depending on Daniel's morality, he will also want to go to Mexico
@@angelo8304 even with low morality thats not what he wanted
Perhaps its a cool nod to the native American heritage they had obsidian glass objects back then so he probably had one made from that black glass instead of normal clear
They are going different ways... it hits me hard that it might mean that they have been separated too long...crashed...
I loved it, it's gonna make me even sadder now
I got the ending where Sean died so yeah I heard a piano
Meh, Daniel has a great life in parting ways and Sean doesn't have to go to jail for it
Cool interpretation, but the piano also plays after Daniel wrecks the border station in Blood Brothers. So, this leitmotif isn't just for Daniel, it's for *both* brothers.

Sean missed to much of Daniel's life. Daniel is his own person now, and Sean is too. I think it symbolizes that they don't need eachother anymore.
Game defo hits harder when you have a little brother yourself and the age gap is basically same as Sean and Daniels. My bro pisses me off but I would do anything to protect him

They nailed it. I genuinely cried for the first time in years and throughout the entire ending.
Yeah you're right
Yeah
yeah I felt the same way. Most people play Daniel to have high morals anyway

I got that one too. I felt it was better for the brothers to stick together in the end.
Got that ending aswell right thing to do
That ending made me cry so much, like at first playing life is strange 1 I got really addicted and I wanted to try the second one and I just fell in love with the characters so much in this one like the story was so beautiful yet so sad and you really get to feel what Sean feels a lot during the game and at that ending I couldn’t stop myself from crying I love the game so much, you could feel the main character’s emotions like how he has so much pride for Daniel and all of the things that happened in the past, hands down the best game.

Me too! I was happy to get the Blood Brothers ending in my first run, without knowing the other versions. I was NEVER going to surrender :D
hisbrokenbutterfly I thought long and hard about it, but I was like you know what, what would that be showing Dan?!
Be happy you chose not to surrender. If you had, Sean would have died because Daniel would have refused. Blood Brothers/Lone Wolf are the low morality endings.
@@mbg140897 "what would that be showing Dan?!"
Idk but that was showing him that it's okay to kill cops to get their way so ya know. Swings and roundabouts. Life as a fugitive with no normal friends and family vs getting to live a normal life, but without your brother.
As a brother, I would take the hit for my siblings rather than make them fugitives.
thats the best ending!!.
Exactly, that is the point; no matter what ending you get, even if it is a "good" one, there will always be a sacrifice.
All in all, this ending is pretty optimistic to me
I really thought at this moment, that after everything they've been through, Sean and Daniel deserve better.

Sean goes to prison for federal crimes, from twice escaping federal custody to federal auto theft. People here are forgetting that he stole a car in California and drove it to Nevada.
i love how at the end they part ways (haha) but don’t really say GOODBYE. because of course they will meet again.
I got the Nice "Blood Brothers" ending! That had to be the best ending out of all of them. Sean is alive, Everyone is! They got there own Mechanic place.
poLY3XuM but they are together..
@@savitrirawat2028 My favorite ending is blood brothers.
Alee Rodríguez Heredia you do know that in redemption Daniels friend Chris dies in the bus right?
I couldn’t stop crying, I cried, and cried and cried, it was genuinely devastating seeing how Sean had to give up on everything for Daniel to live a more “normal” life and giving up everything also meant giving up seeing his little brother growing up, it’s genuinely heartbreaking seeing how much they changed and how time passed, Sean never got the opportunity to fully see Daniel grow up and couldn’t be there for most crimes he didn’t commit, and seeing Sean breakdown in the forest of episode one was devastating as much as seeing Daniel cry in his car after Sean left, this game genuinely ruined me, I love it but I feel like it really affected my mental health, I wanted to play it again but after this I’m not sure if I can take it
I swear i cried playing and watching this
Played all the LiS games, this one is the best… this ending is so sad, and when Sean cries by the fire I started crying. Will never forget their story
I like this ending more than the Mexico one, honestly. After a path full of violence and killing, they can now enjoy life normally
Me too ngl
Definitely not the best tho
They should make life is strange 3 exactly like life is strange 2 but you can choose where you go
Yes. I'd stay put and not make myself look like I killed a cop and ran and resisted arrest along the way
@@coletrainhetrick Well then there wouldn't be a story
@@skylerrasmussen1975 what kind of excuse is that? I guess your under the assumption a story staying put after your dad died and discovering your brother has superpowers doesnt have substance. A person could make a story about a guy reflecting on life while staring at paint dry. But no, youd rather prefer braindead awful writing.
I think as the big brother and the only father figure, I gave Daniel the life he deserved. And that's what papa wolf would've wanted.
I personally think this is the best possible ending, Sean turns himself in and gets released in 15 years. Sure he lost 15 years of his life with his brother, but at least now he's a free man and doesn't have to run from the law anymore.
That's 15 years tho, would you? Yay for american prisons lol
When Sean is out, he literally has no future left.
eliasp92509 plenty of people have succeeded so I don’t know where tf you’re getting that information from
Endings from best to worst:
1: Sean escapes to Mexico and finds Cassidy and Finn.
Daniel doesn't lives a normal life in the one where Sean goes to Mexico, he's under surveillance and cannot become a hero like in Redemption
@Celestialstar46 he doesn't become a superhero
When I first seen this it had me in tears☹️
@@af2954 None of that would have happened if the police did not accuse them in the first place.
Ali Alatrach very true because on his grandpas computer there were people discussing the video evidence...which means fhey could see Sean didn’t do shit
Finally, someone that gets it.
I respect that alot, very thoughtful comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the game :,) I'm going to go cry now 😂
Sean lost his life and his soul with it, he will never recover from it, he was shattered and what hurt the most that he didn't do all of that, Daniel was the one who caused all these crisis!! I chose to surround as if it was the best choice but this ending made my cry a lot as well as hating Daniel more! Sean deserved better 😭!
I know, I feel exactly the same which is why I never go for this ending, only played it once to record this video. I find it even sadder than the one where Sean is shot dead.
I cried a lot. It's not fair.
This was probably the best ending for Daniel. He seemed not happy in blood brothers
Cycle DaPlay not for Sean tho
But Sean get his life ruined
No matter what your fate is, the thing that matters the most is that your loved ones are next to you to help you face it, and there's nothing I'd trade that for
So you'd force your brother to be a criminal and live in a country he doesn't even know the language of and he's vocalize multiple times he doesn't even want to go to mexico
im so glad i picked the other ending
My favorite Life is Strange 2 ending 🐺🐺❤️
Finally got around to finish the game and I was tempted to get this ending, just to see the brothers together again and no longer as fugitives.
Same bru. But I ended up going with the “Parting Ways” ending instead so they were both happy and still in touch, just not together anymore.
Blood brothers > Parting ways (with Finn/Cassidy) > Redemption (with Lyla) > Lone wolf
Yes, this is 100% the correct ranking.
Damn, why every Lis game never have a happy ending
Sean will recover. He is so strong. That's why it is the best ending imho. He can move as a free man
this one is so painful to watch. Lone wolf is maybe tragic but redemtion is just... depressing.
Parting ways is the 'happiest' ending. Sean is free, living by the beach with Cassidy and Daniel got to live a normal life.
Didn’t Daniel have a tracker on his leg?
Either that or Blood Brothers
@Celestialstar46Yeah but that just means his freedom is restricted, never to see his brother again so imo it’s not the happiest ending
I disagree because in that ending he looks really sad the look on his face says it all
That hurts
I didn't thought the story of a game could make me cry so hard and for days, this story is sooo emotional, the connection that Sean and Daniel have it's beautiful and so powerfull that I just feel that all those endings are shit for them. They deserved better, my two wolf brothers love them forever😭❤
bastard got the powers AND the eyes....
This ending makes me cry the most! :sob:
This game had me sobbing my eyes out lmfao. My eyes are red and puffy as I type
Not a great ending, blood brothers is by far better, or the one where they seperate is even better. this one he surrenders to the system that destroyed him and his brothers lifes and answers for a crime he didnt commit while losing his childhood with his brother. i dont see any advantage to this one over the others.
seriously, I know Daniel was a kid but he deserved those years more than Sean considering he’s literally the one who killed the cop
Blockstar fair, but he didn’t do it on purpose. And that cop literally killed their dad for no reason
@@mozzy1268 I'm pretty sure no 9 year old would be convicted and put into jail, especially over an accidental death.
@@pcrassen4975 which is why they should have said it was him.
7:01 Bruh how did Sean put out a comic in prison?
There are actually programmes of reinsertion
Yeah it makes me really happy but I had no idea it could happen.
8:29 GTA 6 Gets Confirmed by Rockstar and is Coming
Sean getting released from prison = gta 6

Karen = Take Two or Rockstar
Idk if anyone noticed but Karen was wearing Joan's vest
Remember, their dad wouldnt want them to be outlaws..
I was very late to this game, just finished today and was curious if thus ending I didnt pick. I think I'm happy with my choice to bust through the border. Sean deserves freedom.
cried my heart bro
I tried to get this ending as I thought I had high morality but I didn't so I ended up with lone wolf but since I didn't want Sean to die I chose blood brother ending. I'll probably do a new playthrough so I can try and get the redemption ending. Can anyone give me tips on how to make Daniel's morality high?
teach him not to curse, spend time with him, give him the things he wants, uphold the law (don't steal, don't abuse/kill people). Overall set a good example by teaching mercy and honor.
Brody Schrepfer Thank you, I’m going to do a new playthrough soon on my PC hopefully I can get his morality high.
@@jamesflux2557 no prob dude, have fun! I was worried I had been too late
the honest title of this ending would be 'all for nothing'. i really hate it. it's not only sad, but so utterly unfair, both to the characters and to the player. 15 years in prison! for what? no camera footage, no fingerprints, no weapon! only words of some racist neighbor. there's ZERO evidence pointing at Sean, but here we are.
The new "Sacrifice Chloe" :'(
2:57 The song for this part is different from Lone Wolf/Blood Brothers (low morality Daniel)....
Obviously
This game has no happy ending. If they end up apart, you know they'll never see each other again and it hurts. In this ending we find a broken Sean and a Daniel who feels guilty for all that has happened.
This ending is heartbreaking and the fact this actually happens in real life destroyed me😭
This is the ending I got and it’s my favorite. I like the detail of Karen wearing Joan’s vest and Lyla showing up when Sean is released from prison.
Also the white eye creeps me out even though it represents high morality.
This ending tho..
When the Mexico is just in front of you but..
Lone wolf ending be like
Sean: MEXICO
Cops: step out the car
When you finally make it to Mexico
Sean gets shot in the neck
Daniel: WHYYYYYY
All this could've been avoided if Sean didn't freak out in the beginning... Damn man...
This is the best ending tbh, yeah Sean lost 15 years of his life but at least he has everyone back (even Lyla, if u didnt fuck up) and can have a normal life again being FREE to be in the US where he has a chance to build a better life than in some repair shop
It really, really sucks the time he spent on prison, but cmon, like I said, he is completely free now (and lets not act like he couldnt get visited by his family and friends during those years) it was a sacrifice to give his brother the best life possible, and Daniel was happy in the end (maybe feeling a little bit guilty, but happy overall, unlike in blood brothers where he clearly is not that happy)
True! It's the best ending. Now they are together and free ❤️
@@cristiancamilocamachocombi9460 what are you even saying

Surrendering is just pointless to me. Why did you have to go through all of the struggle just to surrender in the end? Might as well surrender in Episode 1 or 2.
Redemption is the 2nd worst ending next to Lone wolf. Blood brothers is best since the brothers stuck to each other and got the freedom they deserve. Parting ways is 2nd because they still got the life they wanted but separated.
*"How to get best ending, PS4 Danial goes with you to Mexico ending"* ???
Imagine if they met Max and they gave her a picture just before all this happend and basically went back in time and prevented this whole shit show from happening.

This ending had the best beard for sean but parting ways has to be the best ending
Lol. I love your beard-based rating system.
This ending and Lone Wolf kills me every time.
In real life Sean has 10 years remaining now so he spent 1/3 of his sentence now.
I tried to play life is strange 2 when it came out but just never finished it. I just did now and got the blood brothers ending. Yea they're still criminals but I just couldn't do this ending, it literally makes me cry so much
Shut up Agent Flores
I got this ending and it broke me so bad...
What sucks the most, in the entire game there's no choice for sean to explain what really happened and he will always suffer and take the blame for his lil brother
I hope it's like Sean be able to make life out for himself as probably become a comic writer.
15 years in prison for NOTHING! i will ashamed if i get this ending
i came here to cry

All in all, my favorite ending for Daniel and Sean. Definitely would have made Esteban proud...
I agree. My canon ending
proud of what?, why take crime when u inocent ?,daniel is the one who killed the officer and thats is torturing, and sean, doesnt have a future as a cop killer,he is mentally and emotionally death, esteban would prefeer blood brothers a hundred times.
I 100% agree my favorite ending
Wishes to everybody and hope you all are safe. xx
honestly my least favorite ending, lone wolf was even better than this. 15 years in prison for something he didn’t do.
If you think Sean dying is better than this then your a kid
