    I'm taking dim and drinking nutribullet shakes everyday. Cut sugar, no dairy, increased fiber. My hormonal acne is gone. It was bad! It took less than 2 months to clear up. Thank you.

    To those who don’t want to give up dairy:
    There was a big study about diary and acne including 50 000 women that showed the more milk they drank, the more acne they had, because of the hormone IGF-1. Later on, it was actually revealed that milk with lower fat was the culprit. The explanation was that the low fat milk is more refined. High fat products have more beneficial nutrients and hormones, which in this case might even help the acne. If you can't live without dairy, try high fat and see how it works.

      @@Checkmate777 well, first you need to find out what kind of acne you have in order to know how to address it. I recommend watching the UA-camr Dr. Dray. She’s a dermatologist and has several videos on different types of acne. The best option would be to visit a dermatologist office of course, but I understand it’s not possible for everyone.

    . I have been taking the capsules he talks about for about two weeks and watching my sugar and all three of the cysts on my face are totally gone as well as the rest of my acne/blackheads. The cysts actually never came to a head. It just slowly went away.
    Thanks so much for making this video & in simple enough terms to understand! I’ve been to dermatologist and done so much research and this is the first I’ve ever heard of the actual cause of hormonal cystic acne. This video is a life saver.

DIM cured everything in just a month. My back simply cleared up miraculously. My mood improved in a better way. I took DIM 100mg daily, balanced it with healthy diet (lots of brocolli/veggies everyday).

    I have Crohn’s Disease. I had to go off birth control bc it was affecting my nutrient absorption, but I’ve been dealing with cystic acne ever since. After watching this video, I looked up DIM. NIH studies have found DIM to be associated with decreased inflammation in the gut and improvement of Crohn’s symptoms. DIM seems to therefore be safe/beneficial for people with IBD and could also help with acne! Thank you so much for sharing this. This is the best advice I’ve come across this far.

The thing is I drink a lot of organic raw milk, so no, dairy products are not the main cause of acne. I do agree that industry meat and dairy should be avoided, because of it's terrible quality and animal abuse.

We started supplementing with iodine, and the acne got worse. Then, I started her on zinc, two weeks ago and her acne has improved tremendously. I still get a little pre-menstrual acne, but when I had the Mirena IUD, which caused my thyroid to go out of whack. I got put on Synthroid and got cystic acne, because of the medication and IUD; never had cystic acne. The acne went away as soon as I got the IUD out.

    Doctor, i have a question. I started taking a berberine-milk thistle supplement, because I am assuming I have insulin resistance (dandruff, cystic acne on chin, rosacea). It’s been 6 days now and aside of positive effects, I feel like there is signs of a candida overgrowth. Isn’t that strange, since berberine is used to combat candida? Also, wanted to thank you, it is an amazing gift that you are granting us with all this valuable knowledge🙏🏼

    Love your videos! They are so informative and interesting. Quick story about me - I'm a female without PCOS but definitely have hormonal acne all along my chin and jaw. I went off of birth control pills about 3.5 months ago and am experiencing a breakout from that along with very oily skin. I eat a vegetarian diet and have been supplementing with a probiotic, zinc, milk thistle, vitex, and after watching your videos I began DIM 3 weeks ago. I haven't seen a reduction in breakouts yet, but I do know it takes time to see results. When can I expect to see a reduction in my breakouts?

    Dear Dr Berg, I have a question. Reducind DHT and enhancing testosteron using DIM , does let testosteron convert into estrogens quicker without increasing testosteron level? Personally I have hormonal acne, my hormons are good, I don't have high level of testosteron or either PCOS, but I get bad acne anyway. I'd like to know if this product might be the right solution for me. thanks in advance if you will answer

    i really dont think its just dht, you need to fix the root cause and the the main cause for any acne is a bad liver and a leaky gut, fix those and you dont need to take dim for the rest of your lives yes?

    • @tarasteliga2343
      @tarasteliga2343 5 років тому +3

      That is absolutely not the main cause of acne. ****Hormonal*** acne is caused by HORMONES. So treating the hormone imbalance is the right way to go, I just wouldn't recommend a non-regulated treatment, always best to take to a healthcare professional.

    • @Junior-zf7yy
      @Junior-zf7yy 3 роки тому

      No it isn’t. There are different types of acne for different people. When you’re a teenager and have acne your liver has nothing to do with it, it’s your hormones.
