I like how Augus really wasn't good nor evil. Dude just loved bustin' shit up in combat, and yet for how strong he was, he was steadfast in the belief that nothing is guaranteed in battle. My favourite moment in this whole fight was when you try to shut him up. The fist that sent Wyzen flying, that tore through everything in his path until this point... barely made Augus budge. And then, he hits you hard enough to smash you through a hill. Really sets the tone for how utterly badass he is.
Fun fact, this song plays during the last episode of crocodile and Luffys fight in alabasta (the scene where Luffy punches Crocodile through the floor)

I remember playing the demo to this game on the PS3 when it first came out in 2012 my freshman year of highschool. Coincidentally, I would play Dvorak's Symphony no.9 that same year in my band class. A true gem this piece of music is and what it means to me along with this game

Fun fact: a similar piece of music like this track was used in a game called “deer simulator” where after getting enough destruction done, you fight a corgi dog in a coliseum where the dog then transforms into a megazord with the combination of itself, two police sheep, two police polar bears, and a police jackalope. No I’m not making this up.
The best part is that this guy didnt even use the power up the other 7 deities essentially relied on to be stronger, since it essentially meant using someone elses strenght, this guy used only his own strenght against Asura powering up merely meant starting to use his sword, we never fought his best and he could still go nearly on par with Asura the whole fight even outpowering him at first using only 2 arms against the 6. Oh and also Augus is blind so he fought without sight the whole time. This guy without using the divine powers which made him one of the deities could fight a being that could already destroy all the deities save for Yasha and Deus at this point without going at his absolute strongest. Deus may be the leader of the group and the theoretically strongest deity, but without power ups its clear that Augus is on a whole other level
I'm glad this track was randomly included in a symphony and study music mix that my teacher put on for my final exam, I'm pretty sure I was the only one in the entire class who recognized it.

His village were destroyed and his brother Deimos were kidnapped by ares because the gods fear the prophecy that the marked warrior will destroy olympus, they didnt know it was kratos. that's why he was made like that by the string of shit fate. I understand his reasoning and anger blinded him by becoming a ruthless spartan general were wrong, after his defeat on barbarian horde and implore ares to save him by giving his services, he didn't want to kill to people he cared or respect, he also felt regret and remorse after realizing he killed his family after made a deal with Ares on GOW1 and killed the spartan on GOW2, he is still a human who want to avenge his past for what god's has made him. Argus has the depth of a teaspoon, that's what makes him perfect. His one moment of character development is right there, when he recognizes that Asura isn't him and he accepts that. He wishes his student and friend the best and dies contented. He was the same person from the time he first met Asura, through training him, through the fight, all until that moment. He took a single tiny step towards being a person instead of a cutout and that's exactly what was needed for the story. fething brilliant writers and one hell of a voice actor performance.

im not sure if its offically confirmed, but the game really didn´t sell too well, so people assume its due to that. it seems atleast reasonable.
A 'real ending in the DLC' was a short lived and very toxic idea, tried only by a handful of games, none of which were better for it.

Did you know that lemons aren’t actually naturally occurring?
Fun fact: a similar piece of music like this track was used in a game called “deer simulator” where after getting enough destruction done, you fight a corgi dog in a coliseum where the dog then transforms into a megazord with the combination of itself, two police sheep, two police polar bears, and a police jackalope. No I’m not making this up.
The best part is that this guy didnt even use the power up the other 7 deities essentially relied on to be stronger, since it essentially meant using someone elses strenght, this guy used only his own strenght against Asura powering up merely meant starting to use his sword, we never fought his best and he could still go nearly on par with Asura the whole fight even outpowering him at first using only 2 arms against the 6. Oh and also Augus is blind so he fought without sight the whole time. This guy without using the divine powers which made him one of the deities could fight a being that could already destroy all the deities save for Yasha and Deus at this point without going at his absolute strongest. Deus may be the leader of the group and the theoretically strongest deity, but without power ups its clear that Augus is on a whole other level
I'm glad this track was randomly included in a symphony and study music mix that my teacher put on for my final exam, I'm pretty sure I was the only one in the entire class who recognized it.

His village were destroyed and his brother Deimos were kidnapped by ares because the gods fear the prophecy that the marked warrior will destroy olympus, they didnt know it was kratos. that's why he was made like that by the string of shit fate.
I understand his reasoning and anger blinded him by becoming a ruthless spartan general were wrong, after his defeat on barbarian horde and implore ares to save him by giving his services, he didn't want to kill to people he cared or respect, he also felt regret and remorse after realizing he killed his family after made a deal with Ares on GOW1 and killed the spartan on GOW2, he is still a human who want to avenge his past for what god's has made him.
And then on GOW3, he finally redeemed himself by releasing hope that was sealed away
granted he only cared for himself, but honestly he is the one who fixes everything in the end by killing all the god's.

Argus has the depth of a teaspoon, that's what makes him perfect. His one moment of character development is right there, when he recognizes that Asura isn't him and he accepts that. He wishes his student and friend the best and dies contented. He was the same person from the time he first met Asura, through training him, through the fight, all until that moment. He took a single tiny step towards being a person instead of a cutout and that's exactly what was needed for the story. fething brilliant writers and one hell of a voice actor performance.
