I've watched the entire series on this car over the past few days. I have to say, my heart dropped when you introduced it as a "parts car". I was so relieved when you decided to build it instead! The car is just amazing. This series has gotten me motivated to get out int he garage and work on my own first car, an '89 Firebird. I can't wait to see what you do with the '84!
I really appreciate you watching! This was a really fun project and I learned a ton over the course of building it. I'm looking forward to getting the car out and enjoying it this spring. I'm even considering painting it so stay tuned
Congratulations. I'm so happy for you. Thanks for doing the video showing your progression. I enjoyed it. How cool is it you found your first car that you and your Dad worked on when you were a teen. Fantastic, and so very rare. My brother gave me my first car in 1980, and it is a 1977 S/E Trans Am. Unfortunately I live down in S FL and we have RUST here. So the body has a lot of rust. Yes, I still have it. It is obviously so sentimental to me, not only my brother giving it to me who's now passed, My Dad and I did a lot of work on mine also, and he is also gone. I still have hope one day it will be refurbished. If not by me, then maybe my kids or grand kids will want to take it over. If I ever do get it done, I definitely plan to do the Bandit Run. Your car looks really great, just beautiful, again congratulation, It gives me hope watching these. Thank you for posting.
Looks killer! I had 6 F-body 3rd gens at one point. One really nice one, down to a parts car. I miss those days. The junk yards were full of them and parts were plentiful.
I liked you talking about all the process and congratulations for all the work and effort you dedicated to your project. I'm glad that you're glad in making us part of it all for enjoying it. Nice to see your dad with that red chicken converting it into a t-top. Hugs from the north of Spain, Bill jr.!
Very cool project. I'm so glad so many people keep the Pontiac Trans Am's going. They're such beautiful cars, from their inception to the final one. Thanks for posting, Great job.
Bill, thank you for doing this series. I really enjoyed it and looked forward to every video you produced on it. Thank you for taking the time to document this build.
I plan on swapping my ride with a 02 ls1 t56. Z20 fender kit with the drag wing. And firehawk 18 wheels. I own a 92 bright red v6 firebird. I plan on renaming it Pheonix z20.
I watched a lot of your series because I want to do something similar to make a clone of the only green fire hawk they made. Which in my opinion is the coolest thirdgen of all time. This series was a lot of fun to watch
Enjoying the wrap up...The impetus of the one of one Firehawk T/A convertible I'd missed...that was a cool info on how we sometimes spark our direction/vision... 👏👏👏👏
You did an amazing job on this car! I do watch several car channels on UA-cam, but you are the complete package. You make it look so easy, and I really do appreciate the time you spend on your channel. I would love to see you fix up the 84, or even another beat-up fourth gen and fix it up, but I'll watch whatever you post. Assuming its car related, of course. Congrats!
Love it. I had a red 91 formula and always wanted to do exactly what you did. Stumbled upon this and it's my dream car. She is gorgeous and I'm very jealous
you defiantly inspired me from when i pick up ur v6 put it in my camaro got it all going to now rebuilding my own 5.3 and trying to find a t56 keep it up bill cant wait to see how ur 1st car turns out. i defiantly used a few of ur videos when i was rebuilding my 5.3
Hey Bill, just binge watched all your Firehawk videos over the past week. Great job I really enjoyed it! I’m planning a restoration very similar on a formula converting to Firehawk tribute. I might have some questions!!
I love my 89 Firebird Trans-am GTA. You definitely did a lot of work on this 3rd generation Firebird project.

Thanks! I have 3 third gens but one is a parts car. They're all red so people think I have a type 😂
Awesome! The 92 Firehawk was the ultimate 3rd gen.
Wow just listen that sound!!!
Best looking 3rd gen by far
Very iconic design

The 84 is next, YES!!!!!! 🤩
We shall see. I'll get to it at some point but I have a couple other project cars in mind that I've always wanted to do

Thanks I really appreciate it!
Oh ya and you should do a full walkthrough of mikes GTA! That thing looks awesome too I’d love to know the story behind it and everything that’s done!
I watched a lot of your series because I want to do something similar to make a clone of the only green fire hawk they made. Which in my opinion is the coolest thirdgen of all time. This series was a lot of fun to watch
I appreciate it. This car gets a lot of looks and is fun to drive for sure
Awesome job, Bill! Such an inspiration.

Beautiful car sir! I always loved the firehawks 💯
Thanks. Me too
Great work 💪🏿❤️
Saw your Firehawk in person at Cars & Coffee at Captains Quarters back in November 2023. I have a UA-cam short of it up on my channel.
Just saw that. The comments are hilarious 😂
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year my Kentucky 3rd Gen brother!!
From my 91 Formula to your 92!

Awesome. Thanks for watching!
Awesome Car bro makes me regret selling my 1991 z28 l98
Thanks!
Those wheels fit these cars so well but that was a lot of wheel weights.
It's actually less than 3 ounces - they're 1/4oz weights. They're balanced perfectly so I'm not too worried about it
@@StebbinsGarage that's good. It just looked like a lot.

Ah yes. An LS swap.
Man been trying find one is so hard
the base models seem to be pretty plentiful where I am
@@StebbinsGarage yea,but trying find a actual Firehawk is hard I just want look at one
@@lumpyhumpypowa713Hawks Motorsports in SC has several of them
firehawk is a formula model.never was a trans am
That's not correct. I cover this in the video and talk about 92 Firehawk Trans Am #27 which was built as a Firehawk TA convertible
@@StebbinsGarage it wasnt a trans am,
@@johndillinger8482 did you bother to watch my video where I show one of the articles and pictures about the car and explain the story of car #27?
Yes, 1992 #27 is a 92 trans am convertible.
