Commandos: Origins - Official Maps Trailer

The latest trailer for Commandos: Origins gives a peek at some of the various maps from the upcoming real-time stealth tactics game. In Commandos: Origins, join the front lines with iconic characters Jack O'Hara (The Green Beret) and Francis T. Woolridge (The Sniper) as they assemble the original Commandos force, leading the team through authentic historical locations during World War II.
Commandos: Origins will be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC and on Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, and PS5 (PlayStation 5) in 2024.

For those who do not know, a little explanation.
Swastikas can be used in video games in germany in a non glorifying and historic relevant context, which this game very likely is. But they are not allowed to be used in promotional material that can be accessed by the public like for example a trailer. It is therefore most likely, that they censored the flags specifically for this trailer.

Censoring the flags is idiotic. It’s not gonna change history or sweep away the atrocities of that time. Neither does keeping them intact in any way glorify the nazis. If seeing the swastika in a videogame gets you triggered, the problem is you.
And yes I’m aware Germany is famous for censoring swastikas in games, doesn’t make the act any less ridiculous.

Will you still be able to beat the entire game simply using a pack of cigarettes and a knife? Usually it was enough for original Commandos games and all of the commandos-clones. You simply distract enemies one by one, make them go to a safe place where you just silently kill them with a knife, hide the body, then repeat until the entire map is cleared.
