    Nice tutorial Ryan, does paint.net have a "Thresholds" menu/option? Its available in Photoshop, it kind of does the same thing you are after using a slider to bring out the darker or lighter areas.

      Not that I am aware of. I think the levels option is probably similar. Not sure though, I have never messed with Photoshop. BTW, your comment was marked as spam. What up with that?
