Love the honesty about coming up short! When you pulled up with such a tiny area left unseeded my first thought was “I bet they’ve underestimated the field area” and almost your next edit was “actually we’ve seeded more than 40 acres”. I’m very impressed with the accuracy. You’re still coming to grips with the drill so it’s a good result. I hope the rest of the sowing season rolls on uneventfully. At least you’re not dry!!! Cheers from Australia.

The Europeans tried various sized drills and found that fast and narrow beats slow and wide every time

Thank you for watching! I believe in that theory 100%. I also believe that the whole world could share what they know about agriculture with one another, and we would all come out ahead.

A video on the different ways your drill can be setup would be cool.

Do you buy feed at all to supply your clients with? I’m in the sundre area. Put up dry hay and silage bales to sell

Thank you for watching our videos! We don't typically buy in much product, we are happy to direct people to other vendors for sure. We feel like the person who took the risk and produced the crop should receive the profit margins, not the middle man or broker.

Had you considered other makes before buying the Horsch? The Amazone Cirrus looks interesting.

We actually did look at the Amazone, pretty closely actually at Agritechnica in 2023. Feel free to go back and look at that video "we found every no till drill...."
We just didn't think that we could throw it into as many different situations as the horsch. We literally looked at every and any no-till drill we could find in the global market.

@@farminainteasy Just got back from watching it. Hadn't heard of Horizon before (very interesting), but like Bednar & Vaderstadt, not in my area (western NY). Amazone, Horsch, Kverneland, & Poettinger are probably equally represented around here. Although don't believe I've seen any in the fields.
