hello yes it really felt that the show was designed to be longer and the cut some plots point to get the runtime/get two season out of one. This is probably why I have less problem with the story than you do because I think/hope that Kai story line will go somewhere in season two(but i ship Karanda so i might not have my hopes that well placed). I think the actors where greats . I think my main beef is that like, the last of us part 2 (great game but utter crap of a betrayal as sequel) you can't diverge from the established lore and character than much at least without exposition or contextualization. So the helmet removing or even with the john Cortana twist at the end, or makee are more than ok ways to make the story their own, however there are too many divergences with established lore not to feel a bit cheated. I liked the show and i am awaiting the next season but it is not quite Halo.
@@Caanaal Maybe. If they had stopped the Kwan thing, or maybe made her story more concise given it is the B story and in the place of the newly open season and a half they just added general combat scenes, I would've given it about 9/10. Kwan knocked it down to 7/10. I'll reserve my absolute final judgement on this season until we are several episodes into season 2. If Chiefs "transcendence" is truly permanent and irreversible, then they broke the one rule I had for it being a disaster, the rule being "Spartans never die, they are only missing in action." I didn't really care how much of the OG stuff they brought into it, but the only "canon" thing I wanted was the fact that Chief doesn't end a season dead, he is only missing, or his fate is ambiguous. Had they not kept chief silent when Kai asked him if he was there, I would've said it is an ambiguous fate at the ending, but it feels too much like a Spartan Dying. The combat was great, all the Spartans are amazing, and I loved Jacob, Miranda, and even Halsey's characters in this, but Kwan and Soren where a little unneeded at the level they were featured.

A flop that did so damn well that despite the extreme costs, has been reupped for another season. Yeah okay.
isn't all bad but like I feel there so many thing happening a the same time that the main storyline it got lose.
The second season was confirmed before the first episode even came out lol
@@Wasabi4 I think season 2 is going to be way better!

@@aauwhatitdo1582 I couldn't agree more!. there is a lot of hope for season 2.
Kai and Miranda are the only reason I watch the show. It's just a generic sci-fi series and a disrespectful adaptation.
same!.
IT WASNT MENT TO BE THE HALO WE KNOW! Let it live already!
My opinion, the show is bad and should've been made by someone who actually looked at the games for a basic story summary or even cliff notes at least
Nobody asked
