Why didn't we go back?
In short, the purpose of landing on the moon in the 1960's was to beat the Soviets. In the absence of such a competition, there has been no need, other than curiosity, to return to the moon. In the absence of an economic interest or external threat (Soviet dominance), there is no immediate driving force to return man to the moon.
...because it was a landing in Hollywood...we always have annoying experience in our wireless phone technology, in less than a mile my wife was in the grocery section located in the basement of a mall building, the signal bars in our phones were high and yet we need to find a loud and clear spot to have clear conversation while FP Richard Nixon shown in a black and white video clip was having a hassle free signal and an undisturbed talk with one of the astronauts over the 1960's phone technology...
How can we deliver our $ monthly contributions?
I believe we landed. The Russian would have debunk it. From knowing a retired Russian nuke officer, most Russian higher-ups he knew believed it.

There is no doubt that we went to the moon. I watched one of the Apollo launches. During a typical launch, one is at least five miles from the launch site, yet the ground shakes due to the power of the rocket. Furthermore, we now have images of some of the Apollo landing sites on the moon via the LRO. We landed on the moon, and there's a good chance we do so again in the near future. God bless you.
