Headed to Puerto Vallarta soon! Check out this guide for the best restaurants in Puerto Vallarta: backpackingbrunette.com/best-restaurants-puerto-vallarta/
Hi there! Resident of Puerto Vallarta and I love the low season because 1) there's less people, 2) you get to really know the locals on a personal basis 3) you can find discounts for 'staycations', restaurants, etc and 4) the rain. The only thing I don't like is 1) the humidity 2) businesses generally close for vacation during these times and 3) the rain 4) the ocean water is icky lol. Next time you're in PV let me know and we'll have some margaritas and tacos. :)
Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I love that you list the rain as a pro of low season 😍 I’ve also been loving rainy season here in Guadalajara-the storms are intense but kinda fun to watch when you have a comfortable, cozy place to watch from.
As a local also, I would pretty much agree with this. This summer though has been very different. Little rain but extreme heat for months! I just went away for two weeks which was a nice reprieve. The green green landscape is indeed the best part of low season. As well as fewer people! 😊
And I have to say something else is the mangos season 😮😅enjoy PV I love high and low seasons, I'm Mexican from Guadalajara living here in PV since the 90's
I know I need to practice driving in Mexico, but Taylor's such a good driver & I'm so good at sitting and doing nothing! 🙃 Glad to hear you enjoyed the vlog, Chris!
I follow your videos because I currently live in the US and I am learning the language and as a Mexican I love seeing my country from your perspective, I love your videos!

Thanks for the tour, it's a shame that some places are closed but they know if staying open during low season is worth it for them. I see that it does look so beautiful thanks to the rain, very lush. I would enjoy low season better, I'm not a fan of big crowds.
The new highway is only partially open. It still takes a little over four hours to get to the Zona Romántica since it’s on the south side of Centro. The roads are very smooth, but the tolls are expensive-more than $1,000 MXN each way!
Great video...we stayed in Nuevo Vallarta and really loved Bucerias. Can you do a video about Mazatlan? We're currently here and loving the beaches. I think Mazatlan has a lot to offer and it's beautiful. A little bit of a pueblo feel in their historic centro and with resorts in the Zona Dorada, The golden zone, where most tourists end up. Thank you!
Are there any dangers to dogs on hikes? Snakes, bugs, poisonous plants to be concerned with? We have 4 Xoloitzcuintli and are trying to plan accordingly. Any tips?
I was just in PV last week to complete my permanent residency! I stayed a couple of blocks away from the Malecon on the rio cuale, it was very hot and humid! Love your videos!!
Congrats on getting your permanent residency! How was the weather in Puerto Vallarta when you were there last week? The first weekend of September really surprised me!
@@alex-wittman weather was great, only rained at night a couple of days but it was VERY humid...so humid that a person clothes would stick to themself in a few minutes outside! Had a minor earthquake the week I was there as well, nothing major but my apartment did shake for 5-7 seconds! Take Care!
Hi, great video. When I saw you grab the Doritos package from the store I was wondering if you think they taste the same as the USA. I noticed when I lived there half a year that I could not stand any of the chips there they just tasted very very different and I love my chips. Found myself eating the fresh chips from vendors because that tasted more like Real PS I tried many many different ones, not good for me. What are your thoughts? Thanks again for all your hard work❤

Wow, looks hot and humid, but you two are adventuruous, thanks for taking us along.
I wasn’t sure exactly what I’d gotten us into with that waterfall hike 😅 Taylor is the best adventure buddy!
Alex-I am loving these 10 minute travel videos! And you truly are Taylor’s passenger seat princess 👸

Love PV! I've been in August, April, and February. There's never a bad time to go!
I was in Bucerías at the end of April this year! Very windy, but that kept it from feeling too hot on the beach 🏝️ February is 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Buen video
Gracias por ver!

If you don't like crowds & you can handle humidity, low season in Puerto Vallarta is right up your alley, Cindy! Thanks for watching 🥰
Mmmm... now I'm craving some Mexican Nacho Doritos. 🤤

As a kid, the family used to go in Summer. 🥵
Haven't been in decades in the summer. Are there any fire flies left?

@@OfftoMexico11 yikes, I hadn't heard about the earthquake! Glad you're safe!
It's really hot, that's what it's really like.

Mexican Doritos taste way different & that’s why I love them! They’re a tiny bit spicy & just so so good 😊
Cheetos balls actually do taste the same but you're right nothing else does...oh except Takis❤❤❤
What breakfast place is that at 1:32?
All the spots are linked in the description with timestamps!
@@alex-wittman Oooops! Sorry!
Love this video, thank you Alex! Ok September too wet, December muy caro. 😀
Glad you enjoyed it! I would recommend September over June 😅 June was so hot I could hardly breathe!
No Crocodiles?
Just went. Sept 12-17. So hot. Hot. Did I say hot! Damn hot!
Are there laws concerning dogs on leashes? Were you ever yelled at about your dog not being leashed?
Hot and humid
Thanks for watching, Dave!
Como estas ?
Muy bien! Ya llevo casi un año en Guadalajara, no lo creo 😱
