I'm living here and the 500 pounds of monthly expenses is absurd, it's nowhere near that if you manage to cook for yourself and walk to places instead of being a brat and getting uber like you did back in India for going anywhere. You have to spend some time here and learn how things are done, where you can get groceries for cheaper instead of going to the expensive stores! My personal expenditure is nowhere near 500 pounds and I am living quite comfortably, I go out every other week with my friends for a dinner and I enjoy my time here.

I think you haven't considered tax deduction appropriately. In addition to 20 percent tax till 49k employees are also charged a 12% NI tax. So overall tax deductions are 32 percent rather than 20%
@@Dream_UK Thats the grey area which government dosent highlights because it looks to much tax. They just mention 20 percent tax. But when you see your salary slip its 20 + 12=32. This info is as per my last two organizations pay slip. Have a look on your pay slip and things will be clear 😊

Hey! Tax on all salaries are calculated using UK government tax calculator. I didn't do the calculation mysef. So it includes NI deduction as well :)
