The hands-on experience you've gained during the course of your internship is something a lot of people trying to break into the industry would pay £20K to get if they could 😄
100%, no complaints here. I knew the contract i was signing and I'm glad I get to sharpen my skills while getting paid at least something
Just leaving my experience (agrees with your video)
After graduating from an MSc programme and having a few years of data analytics experience I found that most entry-level data scientist jobs paid between £30 - £36k in London. With a few below/above the range. I think it's because there are so many Data Science graduates and DS takes a long time to become valuable for your company.
I will say in London once you get 3 years of experience in data science I think you can start getting over £60k. Especially if you work hard outside of work and continue to learn. But even if you don't I believe £45k+ (in London) is more common than not
Hi. I have a plan get a job as data scientist in UK this year. I didn't know how much a data scientist realistic earn . This video is very helpful to me. Thanks!
I wish you could be my mentor currently taking my data science self learning journey thank you for all the content broo you are appreciated
Love the vids :) Just got my first data science job in Denmark after finishing an internship - good look!
Happy to hear that mate, good luck to you too!
Did you take any degree for landing the job ?
@@sunnyahmed5935 sorry for the late reply, didn't see this! Yes, I did a master's in social data science, but my bachelor's was Econ
How much are you earning
im in year 13 and want to be a quantitative analyst. I've done a bunch of projects going all the way up to neural networks. But rn im strugglign with recurrent neural networks. What can I do to understand it
I would suggest you move stateside, as soon as feasible... Msc + internship is one of the best foundations 👍. So make the most of it. Good vid.
Dang, that bad huh 😂
Im a London bus driver, and i earn £48,000 per year, why am i learning to code? For a pay cut 😂😂 i need to assess whats going on.
If it helps my salary is now more than double what is mentioned here and I'm under 2 years in. So imagine how much you can make with coding 5-10 years in. Definitely still worth learning I would say
@@datanash8200 thats good to hear, even with my first coding job say I can earn 40k, im gonna still keep my bus driving job just working nights instead so I'll be on 80k a year lol, I won't do that forever obviously but until I can get close to a 6 figure job I will. Especially if I can find a cushty remote job. Im already very good at python, just need to focus on sql etc. Ill keep u informed and subbed to ur channel now anyway
Great video! Random question but what brand is your chair?

Hi bro, please review the data science course in coursera ibm certification course.?????
Have you tried considering remote roles in the U.S? I guess they pay more
I'm from India completed my computer engineering and now I'm applying for masters in data science in UK this October. What are the possibilities of getting a good package by next year?
I completed my bachelor's in Mechanical engineering in 2022 from India (Fresher). And i am planning to do masters in data science in UK i have no experience. So will it be easy for me to get a job and what the things i should prepare
"Easy" is relative but there were a few Engineers on my MSc course. Getting th ejob is all a matters of how good your CV is, who you know etc so I can't prescribe if it is easy. This video will tell you everything in my MSc is data science so you cna prepare around these areas ua-cam.com/video/2bzOVq5CUbY/v-deo.html
