I have to say it again- this channel is the gold standard. I felt like I was walking down each street. This was beautiful and relaxing to watch. The map and metro information was so helpful. Thank you. I have added the streets to my list and compiling this with the pedestrian streets you gave to get the most out of each arrondissment I visit. As I will stay for the month of July, I will spend a day in each arrondissment and your tips are truly enriching the slow travel and off the beaten track experience I seek. I will be staying in the 16th and was very happy to see the two streets on the lists, thank you. I was surprised that Villa Leandre was not on the list but you may have mentioned that street before. Always look forward to your videos and your help with practicing French. I am always working on the pronunciation of street names.
Villa Léandre is nice, but not green or colorful enough for me to put it here. I'm glad you like my videos, and sure the following ones will be useful to you.
More items to add to my itinerary on my upcoming trip to Paris. Love, love, love these beautiful lush greenery streets! Rue Cremieux is so near where I will be staying! So picturesque! Thank you for sharing these, Alain! I must also say I love the music in your videos. Playing all day non-stop 'Good Times Are Coming'.
Thank you so much. You're so different and informative. I am in Paris right now and I know what I will be doing tomorrow thanks to you. Bonne journée et merci.
New subscriber ! Just want to let you know I really appreciate the time and effort put into these very informative and beautiful videos, including maps and location information very much appreciated, Merci !
So glad I discovered your channel today! I am going to Paris in early September for my second visit and will be staying in the 5th. I am watching all of your vlogs and taking lots of notes. Many thanks for taking us around Paris and providing such practical information. 🇨🇦
A video very well done both in content and narration. I'm leaving in two days for Paris and have marking down places in your various videos (your food videos as well), even though I've been there many times. Thank you for your refreshing and informative videos. I usually don't like music background in UA-cam at all, but all of yours are very tastefully done and they all complement your content. Thank you again.
Thanks a lot! I know adding music is not something all people like, but I like it and I spend quite a lot of time on epidemicsound.com to find the right one!
Thank you for this video - it is very well narrated and presented. I appreciate the way you have incorporated the maps into the video. I noticed that the "Pep's" sign was still above the former umbrella shop at the end of the Passage de l'Ancre. I read that he closed his shop . . . do you know why the sign remains above the shop door? You've given us some new villas, cités and passages to visit later this year; thank you!
@@paristoptips - During the past two weeks we have taken additional walks based upon your recommendations in this video. We recently walked: Passage Dauphine (it's across the street from our rental apartment!), Cité du Figuier, Square de Montsouris (although we've been walking this for years), Villa Santos-Dumont, and Cité des Fleurs. Thank you again for your very well-made videos!
I'm in Paris right now. I have come here every year for over 20 years. Paris has never been cleaner, more beautiful and stunning. The streets are clean and the air quality has improved immensely.
That's too bad, but understandable. In any case, all 12 alleys are most pleasant to look at (and, obviously, to walk through). @@paristoptipsThanks a lot.

beautifully done - a revelation even for a frequent visitor to Paris
Hidden gems are not easy to find 😀
Beautiful video. I felt like I was walking with you.
Merci beaucoup !
Good job on the video! We are going to Paris in September and I look forward to watching your videos in advance.
Thanks 🙏
I hope they'll help you!
Very informative. Beautiful pedestrian streets. I will look few of this streets when I go to Paris.
If you can't see all of them, the two in the 11th arrondissement (Cité du Figuier and Cité Durmar) are close one to another and easily accessible.
Merci pour ces découvertes
Avec plaisir !
Thx for providing such a beautiful resource
Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh my! You've given me a lot to think about with where I should visit in August!
I hope you have a great stay in Paris !

What a wonderful video! I look forward to visiting these little areas to escape the city for a little respite. Thank you for sharing these gems. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Hoping they'll stay hidden for a long time giving us the chance to have it for ourselves wow 😊
Can't wait to discover some of them in a next trip 👍
It's the good thing about being hidden: you only find them if you are looking for them!
Thank you so much! I would love it if someone could do a tour of the islands on the Seine.

I shot part of this video in September last year: that may be the reason why this sign is still on the video?

Hello, how is the situation with the protests and garbage pick up now? Is it better?
Much better! Less protests and no more garbage in the streets...

Yes, why not... More a garden than a street, to me...
There was a story about the residents of rue cremieux wanting to gate the street. Seems like too many vlogers at all hours of the day
I can understand they would be a little bit fed up about that!
I wish there were no cars on rue Montsouris; they take up the whole sidewalk! Please tell the mayor...
As it's a residential street, where old houses do not all have a garage, I don't think I would be heard 😁
