    Do this:
    1. Think about what you want to do
    2. Put your intent into words in your head. If it’s something you don’t exactly want to do and are just doing it to get it out of the way to do other things, then say why you’re doing it.
    3. Feel the emotion from your verbal intent
    4. Act on the emotion
    This has helped me a lot with procrastination, the only time this really fails is when you don’t think about what you’re supposed to be doing/want to do

      The second step doesn't work, my mind just immediately goes for the word "pleasure", I want to fight this addiction 😭

    Really appreciate this perspective, especially the very last part about disciplining yourself even if there's no real reason. This concept has had immense benefits in my experience!

    Hardest way to boost your willpower is to get into the bad habit and pull yourself out of it immediately. It's extremely hard to stop doing the enjoyable thing when you're already sunk into it, just know that it won't be that bad when you come out of that comfort and start doing the uncomfortable

    Another technique, do something you want to do but you procrastinate it due to reasons that make you not do them but it won't hurt if they're done

    I turned off autoplay on Netflix and UA-cam. It helps immensely with sticking to a limit I set for myself.

    Procrastination is a trauma response and a mental habit. Habits are possible to break and redirect in 2 weeks of consistent redirection. Who can do it for 14 days every day??? 😢😢😢😢😢😭😖😖😖

    I have the least willpower when it comes to hunger pangs. Even if I really want to eat less when I deprive myself the hunger pangs destroy willpower as I look for food the stop the hunger pangs. I can't lose weight. Comment??
