In Persian there is a saying adam shodi, which means you became a human. It's sort of used as congratulations on someone being independent or doing the right thing. It seems similar to 'be a human' in Russian! Thank you for the very helpful video

It should be specified that быть (to be) requires the instrumental case only when it is expressed (for instance, it will not appear in the present time)
