Today we are going to learn question words in Russian. And I will put them in context in a question. I use most common questions. And today you are going to learn something useful.

In sentence 10. как долго ты там пробудешь (how long will you stay there), we are using the perfective verb пробыть (to stay, to remain) from the imperfective/perfective pair пробывать/пробыть.
In sentence 8. куда он едет (where is he going to - by transportation, unidirectional), the imperfective verb ехать is used (to go by transportation, unidirectional) which belongs to the imperfective/perfective pair ехать/поехать.
In sentence 6. во сколько ты идёшь спать, the verb спать (to sleep) is the imperfective verb of the imperfective/perfective pair спать/поспать.

In sentence 17. чем я могу вам помочь (with what can I help you), it is worth noting:
a) чем is the instrumental case of the interrogative pronoun что;
b) помочь (to help) is the perfective verb of the imperfective/perfective pair помогать/помочь.
I have откуда / куда / чей / кому etc. already baked into my language as woher / wohin/ wessen / wen/wem. This would have been a good lesson to also go over the German.

Concerning sentence 1. кто купил бананы (who bought the bananas), it is worth noting that the verb is the perfective купить from the imperfective/perfective pair покупать/купить
In sentence 16. зачем ты это мне рассказываешь (what for are you telling me this?), we are using the imperfective verb рассказывать from the imperfective/perfective pair рассказывать/рассказать.

In sentence 7. откуда вы знаете Наталью (where do you know Natalia from), the imperfective verb знать (to know) is used from the imperfective/perfective pair знать/узнать.

In sentence 15. кому ты звонила (who were you calling), it is worth noting that :
a) кому is the dative of the interrogative pronoun кто;
b) звонила comes from the imperfective verb звонить, from the imperfective/perfective pair звонить/позвонить.

Past:
Remove the last part of the verb and add л
Я игра(ю)л
If a girl add а after л
Of course there are irregulars. With the 1st/2nd/3rd plural add ли
Они игра(ют)ли
With reflexive verbs works the same, remove the ть, not the ся and add л like always.
Here some irregulars
Идти(to go by foot)
Я иду/я шёл
Вы идёте/вы шли
Тереть(to rub)
Я тру/я тёр
Вы терёте/вы тёрли
Future:
Two cases.
1st
Я/ты/он/она/оно/мы/вы/они + буду/будешь/будет/будет/будет/будем/будете/будут + imperfective aspect verb.
2nd case
Take the perfective aspect of the verb you'd like to use and conjugate it like you'd do in present. As you conjugate in present you'd think its present but its not, you are conjugate in present but it'll take a future meaning я сделаю= i will do, something we do once instead of я буду делать= im going to do, that's a scheduled action so it's imperfective, if it's a unique action that will end its perfective. Also don't mix the two cases and remember that in general the perfective verb usually has prefixes, the past can be used with both perfective and imperfective
In sentence 2. что ты тут делаешь, it is worth noting that the imperfective verb делать is used from the imperfective/perfective pair делать/сделать
In sentence 11. как вы об этом узнали? (how did you find out about this?), we are using the perfective verb узнать from the imperfective/perfective pair узнавать/узнать or from the pair знать/узнать. Which one is it?
In sentence 9. сколько стоит этот телевизор, it is worth noting that the imperfective verb стоить has no perfective pair.
