I love how tenacious you both are together! Thank you for also allowing all of us to follow along as if you are already not busy enough and then filming and editing. The vulnerability you allow us to see is important! Many things that I would have not thought of, such as the beavers!!
What an absolute dream you two are living! Very happy for you both and your forthcoming generations!

Thank you for your kind words! We like to keep things real. He does edit out the parts where I'm yelling at him - LOL

Loved your design on the trusses. When all the weight is distributed to the Load Baring Walls, just makes perfect sense. Good job Bryce and Angel. 💪💪👍

That was my intent. I Don't want them spreading but pushing down instead! Thanks for watching Dean!

Oh no… beaver dams again and yet! Was interesting to watch.
Those trusses sure look strong. Hope it all goes very well. 😊

I think we have a solution. We'll have in an upcoming video

Looking good. I know several 11' bridges in KY. Good thing you missed those. 😁😁

Where might those be? I do remember a fairly low bridge around Cumberland Gap/Tipprel. I think there is another of KY6 between Corbin and Williamsburg - I've only seen that sign.

There is one in glasgow that took out a small box truck hauling furniture not to long ago. Then there are several in louisville. I can't find a video of my favorite. There is a railway bridge in the city and the pavement just gets higher everytime they do road work. Here is the third and eastern bridge. Its a good one too but its about 12.5'. ua-cam.com/video/SsYfdq1B2zA/v-deo.htmlsi=ctFfr6sGFw_zdNCh @@PeaceIntheValley

Good content, I am subbed :)
Btw, since you are starting from the scratch, if it is not too late, try to move higher by 2-3 meters. Try not to work against the nature but with nature (regarding beaver comment). It will be so much easier in the long run. Good luck and cheers from Slovenia.

Thank you! In regards to the beavers, I would be glad to work with them but they continue to expand and if I don't reign them in (and everybody has to down there) they will flood the neighbor's home place up stream. it is also a cause of malaria because they don't let the water flow and it just becomes stagnant for mosquitoes.
I just have to keep them in their section. They've already flooded the old house area that used to be open valley.
Beavers did not used to be there. They were introduced by the DNR back in the 1970's. If they were there before the 1800's it would surprise me as DR Thomas Walker did not mention them at all in his survey of animals in his 1750 journal of Kentucky.

@@PeaceIntheValley Thanks for the explanation. I was not aware that there are other places that will be flooded! I'm sure you know what you are doing :) Cheers
