Very informative! What would be your best budget recommendation for a monitor with thunderbolt port, for powering Macbook pro.
I'm not sure if you're looking for a monitor which can "power your Macbook Pro" or you want a monitor with Thunderbolt "input". For the later, you may buy a "Thunderbolt to HDMI dongle/adapter" and use any of the monitors that I have recommended in the video. But, before spending any money on any of these, please make sure whether your Macbook Pro model is capable of outputting a full 4K-UHD or 1080P-FHD resolution via the Thunderbolt Port. I hope this helps.

Thank you so much. And the Acer Monitor is extremely good as the most affordable 4K monitor. But, within just a month of buying the monitor, I have accidentally scratched the surface of the screen with the corner of my mechanical keyboard. It's a micro scratch and you can't even notice it. But, as I'm a professional colorist, I have to rely on the screen and during color grading or photo editing it bothers me a lot and moreover I want to upgrade to an even better panel. That's why. 🙂

Hi Subhadip siddharth here ,i am using benq gw2283 monitor reason for purchasing this monitor is for photo editing only, so after using this monitor for week i notice that this is not color accurate monitor nor factory calibrated monitor after that i do all setting in windows even talk with technician from graphic card as per they told set all right setting i go to photoshop color settings working space space to sRGB ICE61966-2.1 gray dot gain 20% spot 20% and other setting in camera color space set to sRGB even in windows advanced display settings ( color management , associate color profile ) icc profile sGB IEC61966-2.1 color space , after that update all my windows drivers including graphic card drivers after all i done i learn or i get know that some monitor support hardware and software calibration and some are not support, my monitor ( benq gw2283 ) doesn't support software or hardware calibration i gather much more information than i needed like different types of panel and there purposes ,what is delta E ,calibration devices which one is best i know uploading to Insta or any other platform convert form adobe RGB 1998 to sRGB and all that it takes 2 months to know all , now can you suggest me what to do sell this benq gw2283 and buy another monitor or what? because i can't set settings manually and near me don't have this much of depth and level of understanding what is problem can you help me to solve this problem i write too much because you know what is situation and problem and what i do on that . thanks in advance
Hello. Thanks for your comment. I can understand your problem. The main reason for the inconsistencies is, your monitor doesn't support 100% sRGB. So, you have to get used to the deficiencies of your monitor to compensate. For example, in Photoshop, you can take a red color and push it to 100% saturation, but you can check that after pushing it to around 75% to 85% range it gets fully saturated and you won't see much difference beyond that range. It means, your monitor is unable to produce more colors beyond a certain range. So, if you edit an image by seeing it on your monitor, you may think that it looks good. But, in reality it may have a red cast to the whole image. And this is true for all the Red, Green and Blue channels. So, you have to rely more on Histogram and RGB Parade. If you don't know how to use those tools, then you can start editing a few photos, and see it in different monitors, mobile screens and all to see what are the characteristics of your monitor. Suppose, after testing 15 photos, you can confirm that your monitor has a tendency towards green. So, during the editing you have to keep that in mind. You can even take a full white (#FFFFFF) and full black (#000000) image on screen and see if that has a warm or cool, or green or magenta tint. So, when you get used to it, you can start doing the editing properly from your experience. The next important thing is, when you edit an image, set the Working Color Profile to sRGB and make sure to check the "Embed Color Profile" option during the Save Process. If you prefer to use the Export option (which I do recommend), check both the "Convert to sRGB" and "Embed Color Profile" dialogue boxes. I hope this helps. I'll make a dedicated video to explain this whole thing in detail.

@@infinityTime. You're welcome. And it means, you have to set the monitor in the most neutral settings and keep it there and don't change it. After a while, you'll get used to it's limitations and will be able to work around it. Watch and see as many movies and images you admire and know are properly color corrected and see how they look on your monitor. So, while you'll edit your images, you'll have those as reference and you can try to match your images with them. And make sure to CHECK the "Embed Color Profile".
