I love that she does not do all the silly, superfluous gestures that many actors/actresses do. The emotion comes primarily from the voice, rather than the meaningless and distracting flailing about that many people do *in place* of acting.
Ich finde es immer wieder unglaublich, wie nah mir dieses Musical geht, wie sehr ich mich doch in "Ich" sehe... ich wünschte wirklich, ich könnte es nochmals sehen.
Like someone else said these two are the best de Winters out of all of them. Christina sounds like she plays a more spirited and spunky “Ich” which makes that moment when she finds her full confidence in Act 2 even better. Jan Ammann sounds amazing and I love his approach to Maxim. He showed so much inner turmoil and his voice is smooth as butter. If I were “Ich” I’d definitely be in love. On a side note he kind of sounds like a younger version of Thomas Borchert.

+Piep Pieperti was soll sie denn großartig gestikulieren? Damit würde sie doch aus dem Charakter rausfallen... Ich ist doch eher schüchtern und ein wenig verklemmt. Meiner Meinung nach ist das sehr gut so

I found Emilia Fox in the 90s miniseries played her as more spunky too
Alexis Grey Emilia definitely did and the more spunky approach has since become my favorite portrayal of Ich
Conflicted as my favourite Maxim is Jeremy Brett from the 1970s version.

No. Maxim just generally has too much text to fit into his songs. I love the musical but that always bugged me.
