That engine sounds great. No EGR bullshit to remove. Trade the lift axles for a cab.

The engine, trans, and rear end (if in good condition) are worth some money.... then scrap the rest!!!
You can actually source a used cab, drive lines, and various body's like a dump, box , tank, flatbed/roll off @ your nearest truck salvage yard ...... like Tim Jordans Truck Salvage in Crandall, TX or Casualty Truck And Equipment in Bowie, TX for me!!!

Sell the engine and transmission and the rest for scrap metal.

Sure it was cheap but you didnt tell us what the cost of towing was😊 Just save this for parts, dont think it is worth fixing.
To get this on the road it will only need a cab, hood and driveline. So who knows we will see 🤷🏻♂️
