Rogue puts out a pretty decent one....only 50 bucks....its playable ..and when you decide if you want to continue ...then buy a good one. I bought one but I just couldnt get the hang of the tuning.....Everything is backwards...like playing a lefty strat right handed

I stumbled on to this video because I'm currently learning this tune. I think we both have the same model mandolin - is yours a Kentucky KM-200S like mine? I bought mine new way back in the eighties and still enjoy playing it.

I thought this was a guitar part for years, because I play a 12 string and thought that twinkly part was on a 12. Tried and tried to plat this on the 12 string. I made more progress in an hour with this lesson than I did in 20 years on the 12 string. Damn man I really thought this was a 12 string for too many years.
I'm not a mandolin player, but this took an hour. You can see it's not very complicated, pretty much the same patterns over and over. This one and Battle of Evermore are probably the first songs a mandolin player learns. :)

If you're good enough you can play the guitar and mandolin parts just on guitar and it sounds really good
