The first time I heard this song (when they put Homestuck pictures with the original song, but only Equius) was sad enough, but now that they've Homestucked it...
carolyn s Sadness is very real.
I cried in this part in homestuck- the writers of this did it justice, seeing as im still crying about it.

Aradia has been through a lot. In my opinion, she has been through the most. Not only has she died after trying to seek revenge for tavros's "accident" by haunting vriska, she has been resurrected as a frog sprite, later forced to love equius as aradiabot, then she exploded. However, this makes it all the more satisfying when she reaches god tier. I'm glad she is my patron troll ♈️

In my opinion Gamzee or karkat went through the most...
precious pearce they all went through a lot, but aradia went through the most. karkat may feel sorry for himself, and hurt other's feelings, but what else? he could be counted as "responsible" for a lot of the failures, but it was a lot of people's mistakes. gamzee did have a lot, yes, goatdad and being mind controlled by aranea, but a lot of the crap he went through was his own fault. aradia, on the other hand, died, was a ghost, sprite, robot, and then FINALLY came alive again. and what did she do? she stayed behind and got stuff done. karkat felt sorry for his misfortunes, gamzee's crap was all consequences of his choices, but aradia? she sucked it up, got revenge, and then moved on.

i think nepeta went trought somenthing too... she loved karkat, but he was ignoring her or screaming at her. at fact she has only terezi equius meulin and tavros but they died, so she was lonely and nobody protected. she tried to fight with gamzee after equius death but she just died too. i think she needs some respect, but everyone hates her! thats sad :(

I found this song when I just got into Homestuck and I understood part of it, but not all of it so I brushed it off. Looking back now that im nearly at Act 6, all I can say is ow. Beautiful song and it just has more meaning now. ;-;
