Definitely the playmates toy, though story wise the IDW one sounds really interesting I'm not too far into that run, but I like that it takes elements from the concept Peter Laird had. I'm torn how I feel about 87 Seymour since he's only in the 1 episode but I'm genuinely glad he has a happy ending.
IDW actually should make TMNT 2012 comics that give proper conclusions to unresolved plotlines from the show, that and give The Forever War another go.
So glad to see this video. I adore the Playmates toys and I found it interesting when I learned Peter Laird created the initial concept. It's a real shame there isn't much of a true "end" for 2012 Mutagen Man.
This is the one thing I didn't like about TMNT 2012 is that this character Timothy once he turns into a mutant he never turns back to human story was never finished and even know Timothy the pulveriser was a doofus. I couldn't help but route for him, all he wanted to do is help any thought being a mutant would've done the trick but he became mutagen man and after this episode all he does is just be frozen in the background in Donnie's layor Timothy didn't deserve this. He didn't deserve any of the stuff that happened to him in the show and what really annoys me even when the turtles get Retro mutagen they don't use it on him even though Donatello said he would find a cure for him well they had the cure but they did not use on him
Loved the video, 2012 mutagen man never sat well with me neither, but atleast they’re was a hint of him in the future so we can assume he didn’t atleast spend the rest of his days locked up frozen in Donnie’s lab
Great character video as always. Always liked Mutagen Man. Especially the original toy & og toon version. Hope to see a video on the Uncanny Trio eventually. Especially member, Nocturno the Owl(who’s unreleased toy had a little cat buddy that was Hallo Cat but the drawing called him Scratch)
Nostalgia Unboxed’s new Metalhead Cartoon vs Playmates aesthetic (Neca vs super7) review had me thinking “huh has Turtle Nexus done Metalhead yet?” Hope you have plans for that character. They are another character like Mutagen Man that I first think of the Playmates chrome aesthetic
I actually started the script a while ago, but I stopped because I wasn't sure if it was worth making a video about the turtle robot alone (or if I should include the other android known as Metalhead). My problem is that separating the versions of Metalhead may not make sense for viewers (or they may not be interested in the non-turtle ones).
Visually one of my favourite designs in all of TMNT. Alongside Baxter the Fly, Wyrm and Scumbug. I'd lean more towards the IDW version for characterisation.
That’s what I was thinking to myself when I first saw this on TV like is that the result of humans getting infected by mutagen without mixing other DNA?
So can somebody explain this to me? Kids cartoons in the US can't show any blood at all, but TMNT 2012 can show organs floating on a tube? I'm not asking for kids cartoons to show bloodbaths or anything extreme like that, but I feel like if kids can handle seeing a human's insides, then they can probably handle seeing a little red liquid dripping from a character's nose or something. Just saying.
It depends on where it is broadcasted. If it is for syndication and national TV, then rules are strict. But if it is for cable (like Nickelodeon or 4kids), then the rules are a little more lax (they make their own rules). The show may have different versions as well, I know there was some censorship in certain episodes depending on where you watched it as well.
The company that created the software I used makes sure that everyone teaching the model provides verbal consent, so I have to assume they got the rights and he gets paid for it. You can check it out in the link in the description.
Thanks for watching! Which version is your favorite?
I liked the 2012

Well hey they could do that with pretty much any tmnt show

I've always seen Mutagen Man as a tragic hero and not an actual villain same with Muckman, Leatherhead and Slash
I think Leatherhead is objectively a hero. Or at the very least an anti-hero.

R.I.P. Timothy 😢
Feel so sorry for this guy. He really didn't ask for all this and yet he had suffer through it all. Even his name Seymour Gutz (See-more guts).

0:56 Five years before the coining of the word "chemtrail"!

Liked the video you should do one for zach
If we had TMNT 2012 season 6 we could have finished that plot but of course that never happened
I thought that the 2012 version was voiced by the same guy who voiced Frankenstein and the Mummy in this series and can you talk about Madame Null?
Is this an AI voice of the honest trailers guy?
Certainly sounds like it. Hopefully he agreed to this, but I doubt it.
Definitely. It's alright to use an AI voice, but we should try to not use something so recognizable, right?

5:24 I gotta be honest and when I look at April or Karai in that early season…I began to almost doubt if humanity was worth saving.
You should do a video on the mutagen itself
He's basically chaos from sonic adventure
He's see through just like him.

Mutagen Man looks like mother brain 🧠 from the metroid games.
FUN FACT: MUTAGEN MAN WAS INSPIRED BY THE TOXIC AVENGER FILMS! 🐢📺🎬

Mutagen man remind me of flux from marvel
I know That But The Game
Mutagen Man has a Cronenberg -seque look.
Wow that ai generated voice sounds terrible
I am not happy with it either. Hopefully I can continue to afford the other narrators for a few months (UA-cam has its ups and lows).
Mootanimals😂
Do you got the rights to use his voice?? Hate that AI shit

Hope so. Because he is a very talented voice actor. He voices the trailer guy for "honest game trailers" a big UA-cam channel
@@tonib.2371 Yeap. In any case, this was the last video I used text-to-speech, so I discontinued the voice.
