So watching that live and hearing parts of the soundtrack for the very first time.. it left me a little bit stunned when I first heard them. So any time I hear them, it brings back that memory.
Here after the livestream and the Natlan music is phenomenal. The Swahili vocals, the panflute, djembe and other indigenous instruments, and just sheer musical beauty. Yeah, Natlan cooked.

I miss the old Genshin sometimes, back when I was a new player 3 years ago, enjoying both the scenery of Mondstat and the main story. Brings back good memories of when I was a low ar player and when people joined me in coop to help.
Dragonspine and stormterror’s lair have a special place in my heart, the vibes and music are everything esp being a 1.1 player. I hope they’ll have some relevance again someday

I was listening to this in school... I was holding it together.. until the Gold Apple Archipelago OST came on. I literally cried. I cried, in class, and I panicked and just uh idk had to hide it but AAAAAAaa I can't believe that 1.6 was HOW long ago??? and 2.8 too!! gosh this game's been going for a while now, and my love for it hasn't dwindled one bit
This bring nostalgia so much! I remember starting the first time and be amazed with the music because we can't lie, it's ethereal. I used to to run/walk through different parts of Mondstadt and Liyue (before Inazuma) and just stop to listen the music. Same thing with the rest of the regions, going in and listening just like the Port Ormos ost. This one slaps hard.
I hope they make the golden apple archipelago permanent, I remember during the event (1st and last) I would go there and do nothing just listening to the music, it is very relaxing

While i agree with these playlists but if you are lore player you can't never forget music like ruu song, varukasha oasis ost, enkanomiya music, eternal oasis ost, narzissenkreuz ordo ost. They too memorable for lore players.
Yes! Ann's Quiescent Residence? Literally one of my favourite soundtracks of all game together with the quest(quests?) itself. Narzissenkreuz and Fontaine archon quest are my favourite.
I skipped the dialogues of narzissenkreuz ordo and Ann's stories for some mere primos non evaluable for the act. The urge and gluttony blinded me from the clear path. I would stop the lost mind self, now dense of regret. I succomb to the weight of fault thats on my back. A sin that will damn me forever where no escape is allowed nor forgiveness can fill this hole, a hole that will continue to grow in deep. No time will heal the rip. An unpure unexcusable act I have committed, the extreme gest must be done for the false relief.
so far, this is the best open-world game I've ever played. like, it's free to download without buying it (except in-game buying). Still remember how this game ran smoothly on my laptop until the sumeru update. it gets lag 😂
It was Genshin’s music that first drew me in, and it’s the music that keeps me hooked. I remember when we only had “The Wind and the Star Traveler” album and we have come so far since then. damn. the very first few seconds and the door animation hits hard😭 I've played this game since day one, only stopped when I got busy with college since a year ago. But this game will always be the best game for me. The characters and the story will always have a place in my heart. This playlist is so good, but imo the inazuma soundtracks are the best, imagine you get to know an unknown region for the first time and the aesthetics are beautiful and there are swords and samurais then a cool and peaceful music starts to play but as soon as you dig deep you see that nation's leader Raiden Shogun is evil but actually she isnt and then there Miko and Hanachirosato , Their themes are one of the best themes and my favorite is the whole Inazuma Album by Yung Peng Chun
Can see a lot of effort was put into making the playlist and the video. Think my favorite graphics were the animated scenic ones, and the progression of the tracks fit very well with the storyline. I will definitely be looping through this one for a good bit.
the dragonspine music is really nostalgic to me, i remember grinding that place out when itto first arrived. i really wanted him. dragonspine was my first 100% completed, it was really fun. i remember finding my way to liyue and thinking, "wow, this is amazing, there's so many tall mountains,". i thought it really looked beautiful on my tablet. but atleast i can enjoy the scenery on my pc now, i took so many pictures. i still go to dragonspine with kaeya and just walk around, trying to chase the feeling of almost freezing to death. good times, really good times.
only having one chasm ost is a bold move. If it were up to me i'd put that whole album in here. God, the chasm music is truly one of Genshin's peak music moments

Saw Elogia Cinerosa and was immediately reminded of the *hype* this trailer got. That was absolutely insane. Nothing about it got leaked beforehand, it was right before the release of Sumeru, and it came out of nowhere. Absolutely insane. Masterpiece. One of my favorite animations up to date.
The music is just - *chef's kiss* , but like I love how every region has landscape in your thumbnail and Fontaine is just Neuvillette. Which, I approve^^
Sumeru music is unbeatable. Nothing else in this game compares and I highly doubt anything else ever will. Other than Sumeru, I really love Fontaine as well. It seems Natlan is on its way to be my third favorite based on the teaser we got, so I’m excited for it!
I feel like Sumeru and Inazuma were peak in terms of music. European instruments just do not compare to the sounds of eastern instruments like the sitar or shamisen.

The second half of my comment was about the regions overall rather than the music, Sumeru and Fontaine are absolutely amazing for me whereas Inazuma is not in the same ballpark. Even music wise however, while I do see your point, Fontaine also has some gems like La Vaguelette which are way more memorable (to me) than anything that came out of Inazuma

Gosh, im genuinely cry when I hear the first ever Golden Archipelago OST. It was asbsolutely beautiful scenery, songs are majestic, but more importantly, it was also the very first time I met with real friends on online, who I play with consistently up to 3.8 version. And now, it all become one of my most precious memories. Love Genshin so much
I like the tension-piano theme based on Forlorn Child of Archaic Winds better as a standalone piece of music than the source, though this video is more about the pure memory of journey. The animations here are exquisite.

The only exceptions I have are the low presence of Dragonspine tracks and the absence of any Tsurumi tracks, but basically everything Inazuma and earlier is pure nostalgia.

the only part of the game that doesnt make me imediately alt f4 it to do something else, it actually makes me feel guilty by doing so, it makes you remember the day1 when you loved the game, before your friends started dropping it, and you became alone on it hoping that you would actually feel like that once more. edit: i was exploring enkanomiya, doing some quests couple of months ago, and one music in particular broke me, when i turned the map into nightime, idk why, maybe because of the time that enkanomiya was a brand new map i was playing it coop constantly or something, the music name is Hope or Nostalgia from the album islands of the lost and forgotten

I think it was first time when main story made me feel sad. Great mix. Also Benevolence Bequeathed will never not remind me of blasphemy of the sages and forbidden knowledge. So unnerving.

Started playing at 3.7, it was when Fontaine was just teased. Had fun with my first summer event at 3.8 with Eula as my main, i was there when Fontaine first released, and a year later we're going to Natlan... what a journey it has been.
I once again realized how much I love this game. I haven't been able to play Genshin for more than a month since I haven't been available due to schoolwork, assignments, my job etc. ...
I am literally so emotional rn. I started playing genshin in 2021 and it's been months since I last logged in. I used to spent hours in that game every day. I loved doing the quests in mondstadt and I remember how much I cried when I first pulled Venti at AR 30 or something that I mained until AR 58. The last time I logged in fontaine just got released and I just played it with so many friends or people I don't talk to anymore. I really miss playing genshin but the whole gacha and farming stuff was so annoying. :(( I wish I was in 2021 again playing it for hours every day
From the very moment years ago I set foot in Mondstadt I fell in love with this game's music and have been religiously listening for years ever since. I truly think that Genshin has some of the greatest music in gaming history and I've built so many amazing memories with the music of this game. It makes me so excited to think that no matter what happens in life, or with the game. I can expect some incredible music in Natlan, Snezhnaya and Khanreiah. Makes me really happy
This is what captured me above all else. The music. Many open world gatcha games are being and had been created and are successful in their own right but the Musically of Hoyoverse games can't be beat. They know what appropriate and the best fitted music to place and give extra life in the areas of the open world.

some moments , I feel like I am playing the game just by listen to this
the dragonspine music is really nostalgic to me, i remember grinding that place out when itto first arrived. i really wanted him. dragonspine was my first 100% completed, it was really fun. i remember finding my way to liyue and thinking, "wow, this is amazing, there's so many tall mountains,". i thought it really looked beautiful on my tablet. but atleast i can enjoy the scenery on my pc now, i took so many pictures. i still go to dragonspine with kaeya and just walk around, trying to chase the feeling of almost freezing to death. good times, really good times.
haha, i just realized my tablet wallpaper is the same as the video. its like my tablet is stuck in 2021-2022 genshin...

Saw Elogia Cinerosa and was immediately reminded of the *hype* this trailer got. That was absolutely insane. Nothing about it got leaked beforehand, it was right before the release of Sumeru, and it came out of nowhere.

Sumeru music is unbeatable. Nothing else in this game compares and I highly doubt anything else ever will. Other than Sumeru, I really love Fontaine as well. It seems Natlan is on its way to be my third favorite based on the teaser we got, so I’m excited for it!
I feel like Sumeru and Inazuma were peak in terms of music. European instruments just do not compare to the sounds of eastern instruments like the sitar or shamisen.
@@idkatthispoint-s9s Personally for me Inazuma music can’t really compare to the absolute magic and perfection of Sumeru music, especially the desert music.
The second half of my comment was about the regions overall rather than the music, Sumeru and Fontaine are absolutely amazing for me whereas Inazuma is not in the same ballpark. Even music wise however, while I do see your point, Fontaine also has some gems like La Vaguelette which are way more memorable (to me) than anything that came out of Inazuma

Gosh, im genuinely cry when I hear the first ever Golden Archipelago OST. It was asbsolutely beautiful scenery, songs are majestic, but more importantly, it was also the very first time I met with real friends on online, who I play with consistently up to 3.8 version. And now, it all become one of my most precious memories. Love Genshin so much
I like the tension-piano theme based on Forlorn Child of Archaic Winds better as a standalone piece of music than the source, though this video is more about the pure memory of journey.

The only exceptions I have are the low presence of Dragonspine tracks and the absence of any Tsurumi tracks, but basically everything Inazuma and earlier is pure nostalgia.

the only part of the game that doesnt make me imediately alt f4 it to do something else, it actually makes me feel guilty by doing so, it makes you remember the day1 when you loved the game, before your friends started dropping it, and you became alone on it hoping that you would actually feel like that once more.
edit: i was exploring enkanomiya, doing some quests couple of months ago, and one music in particular broke me, when i turned the map into nightime, idk why, maybe because of the time that enkanomiya was a brand new map i was playing it coop constantly or something, the music name is Hope or Nostalgia from the album islands of the lost and forgotten

I once again realized how much I love this game. I haven't been able to play Genshin for more than a month since I haven't been available due to schoolwork, assignments, my job etc. ...
I am literally so emotional rn. I started playing genshin in 2021 and it's been months since I last logged in. I used to spent hours in that game every day.
I loved doing the quests in mondstadt and I remember how much I cried when I first pulled Venti at AR 30 or something that I mained until AR 58.
The last time I logged in fontaine just got released and I just played it with so many friends or people I don't talk to anymore.
I really miss playing genshin but the whole gacha and farming stuff was so annoying. :(( I wish I was in 2021 again playing it for hours every day
From the very moment years ago I set foot in Mondstadt I fell in love with this game's music and have been religiously listening for years ever since. I truly think that Genshin has some of the greatest music in gaming history and I've built so many amazing memories with the music of this game.
It makes me so excited to think that no matter what happens in life, or with the game. I can expect some incredible music in Natlan, Snezhnaya and Khanreiah. Makes me really happy

Many open world gatcha games are being and had been created and are successful in their own right but the Musically of Hoyoverse games can't be beat. They know what appropriate and the best fitted music to place and give extra life in the areas of the open world.
