I remember the first time i downloaded genshin. I had just argued with my family, and i was exhausted. While i was waiting for the download, i fell asleep to the beatiful music of the login screen. It was so soothing, and i felt so blessed by the music...

2 years ago i was in such a deppressive state that i thought no one would care if i was gone. But Genshin seriously allowes me to cope in such an amazing way. Made many friends and experiences. Its weird to say, but i want to go back. I am in a much better mental state but i miss those times, they were "simpler". Love mondstadt ost, nostalgia is beautiful.
I couldn't have agreed more with you ❤️ I was too having dark days 2 years ago almost gave up everything surrounding myself, corona came, relationships broke along with frustrations and depression but Genshin made me cope with that in very mysterious way... I don't know what would I have done that time if GI haven't released or I didn't know about it.... And this game made me realize how much I miss that time I want to go back so dearly, even though world was breaking apart ❤️
I understand completely! I was going through covid college online for freshmen year after having half of my senior year of highschool taken from me (mainly the social events of a lifetime, dramatic but it's how I felt at the time). Genshin became a game to pass time and enjoy feeling connected to a world similar but different. Essentially it was my escape for the year. I created so many fond memories from that game.
I was grinding the abyss to get full stars lmaoooo, now I quit due to loosing access to electricity. Can't even use my ps4
공감… 원신에서 친구도 많이 사귀고 다 함께 울고 웃고 하다보니 공감 능력 높아짐.. 캐릭터가 다들 입체적이어서 인간 관계에 긍정적인 영향 미침. 좀 웃긴 말이지만 맨날 칭찬받고 중요한 역할 이뤄내면서 활약하니까 자존감도 올라감..😂 난 엄청 내향적이라 친구도 별로 없고 항상 좀 외로움을 느끼는데 원신 하면서는 별로 외롭지 않음. 각자 신념을 갖고 있는 캐릭터들 보면서 내 신념이 뭔지 생각해보게 되고 주변 사람들에게 더 친절하게 됨.

i wish that i could re-experience this game for the first time.. reaching every region was so lovely. i love mondstadt for the nostalgic soundtracks it has. i love liyue for how breathtaking the scenery was when i saw it for the first time. i love inazuma for the vibe it gave off when it released (though i HATED exploring it all cries) and i also love sumeru for the scenery = osts!! genshin has some of the prettiest soundtracks ive ever heard, i wish i could re-experience my first step into every nation. their music is so beautiful and so unique from eachother. i love love love the music and the scenery of genshin impact

@@KiwiFruit23_ i often come back trying to chase that "feeling" and I never really get it, but the nostalgia is really heartwarming :), I also remind myself that because of my incapability to play a particular game for a long period of time, I still have Inazuma, Sumeru, and even Dragonspine to explore! (it's not as cool as the full regions but I remember wanting to climb it back when I first played but it wasn't in the game at the time)
YEAH The first step into every nation was amazing!! Luckily we have Fontaine, Snezhnaya, Natlan and maybe Celestia coming in the future, so we can still experience new things in this game! 😊

Imagine after 3-4 years when the game is complete and every region is available to us. Imagine the amount of nostalgia that would produce. Its already about to be the 3rd year of Genshin since it first got released, and there was so memories created already with the regions available to us.
Truly one of the best games ever released, especially the way that they are revealing the story, and introducing a new region every year.

I really miss Genshin. I started playing a few weeks after it was released, and until Inazuma I was getting on and off from the game because of storage issues. I decided to quit for real exactly last May 30, 2022. It was the first game I really loved with my heart. Hearing these songs bring so much nostalgia that I can't help but tear up, and imagine I would've been listening to it while strolling the scenery with my Xiao. Right now, all I can do is relinquish my memories with this game and my friends (I had let them know I am quitting beforehand so I have no regrets). I am on my 2nd year in college now, and my dream is to go back playing after I have graduated and passed my board exams.

I can't not hear this without zhongli going "OSMATHUS WINE TASTES THE SAME AS I REMEMBER" in the back.
Ugh! Favorite ones are snow-buried tales and a sweet smile! They definitely contrast eachother, one being much more classical while the other more “electric” and “modern”, but both can almost tell a story. It’s as if it never was music made just for a game, but for an entire, well, I can’t even describe it. The music may even outlive Genshin Impact itself.
Edit:
I underestimated Sun Rises in Liyue. God, this soundtrack can really sound like M&B: Bannerlord at times, and others a feeling of being isekai-d into an entirely new world. Before Dawn at the Winery also helps with that M&B feeling. A conglomerate, no, orchestra of mixed feelings is what I always get from this soundtrack.

I miss Genshin Impact, y'all... I used to have some friends there, I was already starting to explore Liyue, (Yes, I was pretty new) and I loved to be in both nations. Mondstadt was so lovely and free, and Liyue was simply such a view!
Unfortunately, I'm a phone user and I dont have enough storage room to keep up with the updates, and so I found myself forced to delete Genshin Impact even though I didnt want to.
*9:46* Was my favorite theme for Mondstadt at night, it was simply great. And now, it just makes me incredibly nostalgic. How I wish I could have Genshin Impact once back... :(

genshin is one of those games for me. i started it when i was in a depressive state and ended up needing to uninstall it for storage reasons. a friend who is hyperfixated on genshin told me i should get it on ps4. i did, and reinstalling the game brought me to genuine tears, as genshin pretty much was a “therapy game” in a few ways, one of those ways being the relaxing and calming ost, which is

reminiscing all the regions we went through in just a music video is amazing. the nostalgia in mondstadt is just lovely and the liyue views are mesmerizing! inazuma is amazing and sumeru has such wonderful areas! after a day of going through school, i had to study for my mocks and listening to this really put me at ease and is amazing! whats your favourite region? mine probably is all of them! mondstadt = the nostalgia, liyue = the views, inazuma = the vibes and music and sumeru = the locations!

Genshin Impact's songs are the one and only reason I still keep on studying. Once I start listening to the soundtracks of Liyue and Monstadt, it reminds me of the times during the pandemic when I was still in school and surrounded by lots of friends. Currently in college, sometimes I feel lonely but the songs are always there to keep me company.
PS: I'm going to have my exams in a few days, I hope I wont fail cause then I'd have to repeat the year :(

As someone who has left Genshin on hiatus for probably a year (played once or twice just for events), this video alone reminds me of simpler times, just exploring new regions and coming across treasures and secrets. I recall meetings the young girl near that giant tree place (big dragon boss in liyue) and I was surprised to see she was no longer found afterwards. Was a genuine surprise back then.
IF anyone happens to stumble into this comment, one question: Is it worth getting back into? I left around when the 3.1 update was on its second phase.
I used to be one of those guys who thought Genshin was stupid and cringey and made fun of people who play the game. One day, out of sheer boredom and skepticism, i decided to play the game, thinking I was going to bear witness to the worst thing humanity had created.
Now, 7 months later, I am AR 55 and farming primo gems and fully immersed in the community. I never liked anime up until now, and I wouldn't do anything different.

The music of the game honestly gives me such a wave of nostalgia, especially the dragonspine part, I really am grateful for this video, because now I can listen to this in class and during work. 🙂

It was June of 2021, Summer. I sat there bored and was scrolling through youtube. I discovered Genshin Impact, watched some of its gameplay videos, absolutely loved them. I rushed to download it, took about 4 hours to complete. I opened the game for the first time, got amazed by the visuals and mechanics. Still love the game to this day!
