You use mod normaly the pistons aren't freely mooving like this

Why does it sound like spud guns

Because the mod uses pipe pieces that go at the end of the pistons/sliders, and they act as spudguns, applying an impulse force. I originally got the idea of this mod as a way to modify something like a spudgun engine to be more practical and more similar to a normal engine in the game
