When they said the shadow people looked like them, some actually were.
In the first episode, when Roman was walking to the dust shop he walked past a couple shadow people and if you look closely you can see that it's Nora and ren.

I think something you may be interested in is a few RWBY fan made trailers. They were made by a guy whose YT channel is Mark (yes that's actually his channel's name). And for trailers that were made by a fan, they're really damn good. The trailers are Charcoal, Silver, Linen, and Viridian.

I actually got into RWBY Chibi before the main series itself. It was just sooo adorable. It was only by some miracle fluke that I missed Ep. 6 and all the other major spoilers for Volume 3 in the Chibi.
Now to see you be happy with this spin-off series. Volume 3 was a feel train, this will be a pain reliever. :)

If you want a real monotone reactor, watch Loquacious of Herd...his reactions were ok until the end of Volume 3, he didn't seem to care about what was going at all. Even when Pyrrha died, he was like "oh my" no quivering in his voice at an attempt to hold back tears or anything. Of course it's hard to tell because he doesn't have a face cam, but that's the impression I got.

Red like roses, both parts 1 and 2 tell a story about Ruby and her mothers.
It's My Turn and Mirror Mirror 1 and 2 shed light on Weiss' childhood. Cold is definitely about Monty.

Lol yes, I know that. However these are the same people who have been telling us people are dead even when they aren't for years, so that doesn't exactly instill a level of trust. Besides, if you were planning to have a character appear dead but turn up again farther down the line of course you would say they were dead. Plus on top of that, they never said he was dead. They said things like "Sorry to lose him" and stuff along those lines.
RWBY isn't RvB. Roman was never meant to make it this far anyways.
Correct, however we don't know how far they decided to keep him around for. Everyone assumes that they had remade his part to last till the end of v3, but how do we know that they didn't have a little more planned for him? "Because RT said he they were sorry to lose him". Yea ok, and if they really did have a larger part for him then of course they would tell you that if they want you to think he was dead. Could he actually be dead and gone from the series? Of course, but there's also a chance that he's not. There is no guarantee, so why don't' we just wait and see.

I want to see Chibi Lady Stardust
OH OH OH! I just remembered!
Lady Stardust, you NEED to watch Mark Zhang's trailers! It's the cream of the crop of all do the RWBY fanmade content, in fact the Linen and Viridian trailers are near Monty in terms of animation and choreography (not quite to the same level, but for an animator whose first RWBY animation was kinda mediocre, he's come a LONG WAY). They don't have anything to do with the main cast (yet) but regardless it is definitely worth a watch.
Also there is, in fact, an official RWBY manga that is available to read online. You should also definitely give that a look if you're still into all things RWBY ( I know I am). The manga a actually elaborates on some previously confusing points from the color trailers, like what the hell that knight thing Weiss fights actually is.
Did you notice during the ice sculpture skit that past Blake was a puddle of water, Guess Ruby wasn't the only one having trouble.
Also do you know about the RWBY in theaters thing, Volume 1 and 2 are done, but if you look up Tugg RWBY Volume 3 you can see if a theater is going to play it near you. I went to heh first two and hope to go to the last (though at the moment it's not looking good, you need to get enough people to preorder a ticket for it to happen and we only have a few days yet, sadly) Their is always something extra along with, like RWBY Chibi stuff early, since this is the last one I'm hoping for something super special.
The jokes in Chibi mostly are based on understanding previous chr development, standout is here Zwei develops. Could that puppy get more awesome? Watch!
