It will be waterproof when used without the flysheet, JT K, seasoning will help but it will give good protection straight out of the box. The flysheet adds an extra level of protection and helps reduce condensation inside the tent. ~ Ben
I sold mine - poles jumping off the pins while trying to set up - manufacturer hear no/see no/do no wrong - and workmanship only average. A good concept spoiled by poor execution.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with these, dusty disco. I too found that if I wasn't paying attention the poles can jump off the pins during setup. It requires a little more thought when setting this up solo, but made so much easier if you have a second person to help as you put the poles in place. ~ Ben
Its definitely still a swag. The mattress and bedding all rolls up in one, just like your classic swag, but the frame work allows you to have alot more functional space inside. ~ Lauren
Could I ask a question, you mentioned this swag is quite water proof ... what does this mean? Do I need to do seasoning? Thanks in advance.

@@SnowysOutdoors Thanks Ben.
Seeing how it's the same size as a queen bed, surley you could fit two adults and a toddler in this??
I'm sure you could, Andrew, tight but manageable. ~ Ben

Its more of mini tent than a swag really?

@@SnowysOutdoors Fair enough, thanks for the info. It looks like a great middle ground between bare bones swag and a roomier tent.
Yeah more of a tent
