Gotta agree with Islam. Love Max but he's 1-1 at 155. And Poirier beat him twice so he isn't deserving of a title shot at LW now as he's not champ at 45 anymore either. Max vs Ilia at 155 would be fun. Max looked damn good for 155.

I’m not thrilled about Jones vs Stipe at all. He last won a fight in 2020 against a washed up DC. Then gets knocked out by Francis in 2021. And somehow he gets a title fight smh. Ppv not going to do good at all I bet!
It's a legacy fight. I don't even know how stipe is considered the best heavyweight ever but many say he is. As we know heavyweights can fight well into their 40s, jones beat stipe and lays claim to greatest fighter ever. Jones ain't the best. The best fighter is anderson silva. His middleweight streak is way better
