Pay of Garcia vs Haney is a terrible example because they are champion fighters and boxing is multiple promotions put together. The lower under card fighters barely get a couple thousand dollars per fight. UFC pays it's under card fighters way more than that.

In my travels, I’ve found at least 7 days is necessary to acclimate. If I were a training fighter, I would allow an entire month of time spent in the area. I’d say 3 weeks full, hard training in location atmosphere…and about 1 week to swap sleep cycles. Maybe even swap the sleep cycles immediately upon arrival. A full month of hard training in location atmosphere with the peak of training being at the local time zone fight schedule. Ie hard training from 3am-7am. Bedtime at 6-7pm to allow a solid 8hrs of rest and recovery. From 7am-5pm includes training and meals/weight cut.
