Aha! This early version had just about left my memory! 💕🎵💕 Thennnn it came on again lol 😲. I was about. to walk out of the room. ... then this early version came on 🎵wow!!!!! I had just about forgotten what that version made me feel like!!!! I STILL love to hear the latest version !!!! Thank you STILL REO 💕💕🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
That was different. Of course I liked it. I love the original of course with all the energy! This song defines REO Speedwagon in my opinion. If you need a boost, play this song LOUD! It will change your body chemistry! Guaranteed!
@cazinca in with the good and out with the bad keep it rolling mate good to hear that you like this need's more ppl thez day's liking this sort of music it's died off big time and all this crap that's around is just not music to me keep them vote's up guy's and thanx verry much to greatonyak for uploading this rare footage of r.e.o speedwagon most beautiful VERRY big thanx my father AND i love it
REO Amazing band yesterday, today and for ever....real musicians. No auto tune no play back as real musicians, not the clowns we have in these days....
One of my top 5 favorite rock songs that gets me amped when I need a boost. The acoustic sound is perfect. An awesome legendary band. How lucky we are to have been around to witness it.
i'm rolling one right now....and i only have one match....i'd better keep the fire burning....and my car's out of gas.....and there's a storm coming....i guess i'd better get out.....and keep pushing.
Wow, great version of a classic song, harmonies are superb and the guitar solo is sweet. Love it when a band keeps sounding awesome year after year, Kevin Cronin is the Man
This is magical... Every version of this song is amazing bcoz the talent manoeuvring it is amazing.. the song is a masterpiece in every sense.. the Kevin effect...his vocals are beautiful.. he is the best rhythm guitar player I have ever seen...he nails it on acoustic like no one... So clean & melodious....
I was never really an REO Fan as their stuff was always on the radio. I've got one album of theirs and it's still wrapped. Never opened it because I'd gotten burned out on 'em, but shit fire THIS IS GOOD. I may have to dust off the turn table and open up that album after all these years.
One of my favorite quotes is "i don't have to be wrong for you to be right." In that spirit: Neil's Hammond B3 solos are a big part of the original version, but this acoustic rendition is a unique twist on a great classic. Gary was a great guitarist. If you watch the midnight special performance of this song you'll see him at his best. Had I been exposed to the rock and roll life at his age I'm sure I would have burned out, too. May he Rest In Peace. Kevin has done a good job with this band and I'm glad he and Neil have been willing to tour and play their hits.
FMHammy, u got that right... They played their own instruments, wrote their own tunes, and PERFORMED the shit out of it.... LIVE! these are true professionals, musicians, and THAT IS WHY THIS MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE... they call that pop music pop for a reason, it pops in, it pops right back out, never to be heard again.. who cares...... this is real music, and it will fortunately be around forever......
Due to their immense popularity in (at least) Rochester NY in the early 80’s, many of us did what we could to avoid REO. This acoustic version is incredible & evokes a flood of college memories. Thank you XM!
I have loved yhis song ever since its release. This version is by far the best yet. I never get tired of it! To Kevin, Bruce, and Davy, you sure bring the best of music and so much emotion. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. This version will always be with me.
I LOVE ❤❤❤ these songs. I've seen REO over a dozen times since this music was released. Sure, it's acoustic, but why don't they play any of these great tunes live in concert! "It all looks so clear, thru these glasses of beer..." Roll with the Changes REO!
This version of the song is great. I love it. I just love the acoustic sounds and the maraccas. Just so you know, I will KEEP ON ROLLIN with the changes.
Marveleous Performance ! Great harmony in singing and playing. Love this song. Always loved this band. and will never forget their opening performance at the Arrow Rock Festival on June 15th 2008, in the Netherlands. What a beautiful day that was !!!!!! Stephan
back in may i had the chance to take pics with bruce hall(bass) and dave amato(lead guitar), and these guys act very nice and courteous, and they look and talk like what i would think they would back in the 70's they still got the fire to play good ol rock and roll
WOW they did my favorite REO song great here! It brought the tingle up in the back of my head. Listened to them all the time in high school. Good memories, you gotta roll with the changes!
@cazinca YAAAY You picked a great band to be a fan of. This band's songs has helped me thru some bad times. :) Love REO Speedwagon. Keep On Rolling. :)
This is first class of acoustic music. The sound is just to knee down. Never heard a better acoustic guitar sound in combination with vocals in three voices.
....better than their live electric performanceses in recent years. Get a chance to hear how well the lead guitarist sings the harmonies. He's quite good.
One of my all time favorite bands! These guys live, just flat out rock. Kevin has so much powerful clean energy. And this version is Amazing great job fellas!
These guys paid their dues on college radio and the concert circuit for years before breaking out with Hi Infidelity. Still one of the best of the "stadium bands" of the 80's...
This is an excellent arrangement! I've been a big REO fan for years.Saw them in the "heyday" that I liked back in 78. Richrath was great then too. Keep on rolling!
I have to agree with you. Nobody in this line up, including Kevin, is an original member of REO Speedwagon. I'm from Ma. and Dave Amato used to a be in a great Boston band called August. He shared the singing/song writing with Jimmy (guitar) Jamie (bass) and Louis (drums) . They had great originals and were excellent musicians. Louis still may be the best drummer I ever saw. This version of RWTC is EXCELLENT, but I'd love REO do some old August originals like:Gimmie Your Love & I'm A Mover.
neal still is in the band, had been and always will be, they said while this was being taped and the new cd was being prduced that he had a lot of family engagments and othr things to do, but he still tours and still jams out a organ like only neal knows how
Great version. I've loved REO since the 70's
R.I.P Gary
This is a "band" that has and always Will be "fantastic" .
I love Bruce Hall's face coming out of the first chorus. That's a dude that loves playing music.
Ikr? Dudes played this song thousands of times, and you’d never know it
First time I heard this version I Got Chills that would Not go away wow wtg Guys 🎵🎵
This is just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome. Crystal Clear talent. Love it!
Thanks for expressing what I wanted to write!
This might be my favorite version of the song. It focuses your attention on the vocal harmonies, which are great.
Same here
Same here. This is amazingly beautiful
Dear REO, I'll bet you guys don't even know how good you sound.......or how incredible this song is!
Right... Amazing unbelievable I would say
This version is absolutely awesome! It truly shows how great these guys are.Love it! Keep on rollin' with REO!
Damn that was awesome. Never seen this before. Sometimes you need acoustic performances to bring back.....LIFE.
Wow!
The best REO song I always thought. It’s one of those rare perfect songs, all the way through.
Great version. Kevin's voice is still crystal.
Wow just wow
That was different.
Of course I liked it.
I love the original of course with all the energy!
This song defines REO Speedwagon in my opinion.
If you need a boost, play this song LOUD!
It will change your body chemistry!
Guaranteed!
This song has truly, truly gotten me through some of my darkest hours. What a blessing.
Me too pal, me too.
I love acoustic versions of classic songs. We're going to see REO Speedwagon in concert next month. Can't wait!
@cazinca in with the good and out with the bad keep it rolling mate good to hear that you like this need's more ppl thez day's liking this sort of music it's died off big time and all this crap that's around is just not music to me keep them vote's up guy's and thanx verry much to greatonyak for uploading this rare footage of r.e.o speedwagon most beautiful VERRY big thanx my father AND i love it
26 people should roll away ........ this is a great version. thanks Reo ...
REO Amazing band yesterday, today and for ever....real musicians. No auto tune no play back as real musicians, not the clowns we have in these days....
59....
One of their best songs and such an amazing acoustic version. I could listen to this a million times in a row and never tire of it!
Yes. It's a GREAT, GREAT song. Their best. And one of the best rock and roll songs EVERY written.
Old school punk rocker here....this is world class! Love REO
The best solo I have ever heard.
If only they could mend their relationship and go out on top. Damn it.
The recording is amazing for a live acoustic performance! Great song!
Wow, great version of a classic song, harmonies are superb and the guitar solo is sweet. Love it when a band keeps sounding awesome year after year, Kevin Cronin is the Man

I have heard this song SOOOO many times over the years, but to hear it with no piano and all acoustic was awesome.
One of my favorite quotes is "i don't have to be wrong for you to be right."
In that spirit:

Amen Todd, the "test of time" is the great equalizer.
Due to their immense popularity in (at least) Rochester NY in the early 80’s, many of us did what we could to avoid REO. This acoustic version is incredible & evokes a flood of college memories. Thank you XM!
These XM studio versions are fantastic! A real treat to watch the band play in such an intimate setting.
I have loved yhis song ever since its release. This version is by far the best yet. I never get tired of it! To Kevin, Bruce, and Davy, you sure bring the best of music and so much emotion. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. This version will always be with me.
INCEDIBLE talent. Please come to my little town of Bega in Australia. This is soooo good. Yep Bruce's joyous face sums up why we all need good music.
First time hearing this. Perfect. Keep on rolling REO.
Got to see them at our State Fair on Oct 2007. They were note for note. As good as they used to be.
this is SO clean. the instruments, their voices, everything. incredible.

I LOVE ❤❤❤ these songs. I've seen REO over a dozen times since this music was released. Sure, it's acoustic, but why don't they play any of these great tunes live in concert! "It all looks so clear, thru these glasses of beer..." Roll with the Changes REO!
I have seen these guys in concert 6 times. They just get better and better.

....better than their live electric performanceses in recent years. Get a chance to hear how well the lead guitarist sings the harmonies. He's quite good.
No half-dressed backup singers, no over-production, pure raw talent at its finest. Close your eyes and listen to what it should be about....the music!
One of my all time favorite bands! These guys live, just flat out rock. Kevin has so much powerful clean energy.
And this version is Amazing
great job fellas!
Kevin Cronin still can rock and roll. These guys
are good and talented!!
These guys paid their dues on college radio and the concert circuit for years before breaking out with Hi Infidelity. Still one of the best of the "stadium bands" of the 80's...

neal still is in the band, had been and always will be, they said while this was being taped and the new cd was being prduced that he had a lot of family engagments and othr things to do, but he still tours and still jams out a organ like only neal knows how
