Your video essay shows the beauty and nuisance of winter snow. MARCH is a time of waiting. A time repetition. It is lent for many. A time to focus, reflect, plan changes and work the plan. Spring claims to be ahead. My Maryland crocus, jonquils and forsythia are in bloom. We will all be reborn with the warmth of Spring.
"Carrie" burgers. Not only naming them, honors the animal upon which you are about to feast, but I also found it was easier to bring them into the pen for the coup de grace.
You two turn into snow birds and head down south for some Vit.D , digging your toes in the warm sand on a tropical beach and sipping down a Margarita. All the snow turns to sand you're waiting for the tide to come in. Sometimes, just the visualisation is all that is needed beside some Jamaican Songs of Caribbean to lift the cold doldrums of the cold March Madness.
Mowing the lawn and plowing snow may seem unproductive. But for folks like me who just enjoy playing with the old equipment it's a real thrill! Keep up the great work. 👍

I burst out laughing at the “piggers” reactions from you going by them with the little B snow plow. Oh they were so warm & comfortable in what was left of their bale bomb. When I see the sign over your garage that says 1804 to 2004 and that’s 200 years plus a family history, I can’t help but think how proud your ancestors are of you. I am sure there were times when you feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, but I assure you that ultimately, you are the master of your own destiny. I see how the animals respond to you and how you respond to them. There’s a wonderful harmony to it, And the good news is spring is right around the corner! This is the time of year that really makes me appreciate spring and summer. The nice lady on our Cleveland channel said we should be getting another 13 or so inches of snow this year, and I think she is going to be right. But I am sure we can make it through to better weather. weather.

I am certainly not the only one to write to suggest that you could make a 10 - 12 minute presentation just with a fresh upstate NY snowfall, nature and the farm. Captured like you did those scenes this morning, such a composition would probably win awards! Just A Few Acres is such a picturesque property and that combined with the heartful way that you and the family care for your animals; one can readily see that they are truly content in their surroundings. I encourage you to share those moments (without the snowplowing or human commentary), for the betterment of the world and for a greater general understanding of small family farming Those beautiful, artistically-captured scenes made my morning and there is real competition down here in Bryant, AL today for gorgeous morning views!! Well it looks like you have the same March "Mellows" we all get this time of the year. we just went through our biggest snowstorm of the season. yep! and it had to wait until the "March Mellow" to dump 30 inches of snow on me and my surroundings!. Birch trees in the back yard are bent over touching the roof of the house. only good news is the temps are over 30 today and its melting!. and we have some warm temps tomorrow and rain so that will help. At least your kids are old enough to know and appreciate your sentiments. Mine were too young and they cried when I told them we were eating Rosy. I noticed the tractor with a slight miss when she came out the shed. I thought it may be a slight ignition trouble, but as it went on you could tell the carb was getting more and more clogged. Hang in there! March is my favorite month. It’s a mixed, volatile bag of surprises. It could be tshirt one day and winter storm the next. Winter is leaving!
The Hummingbirds are back here enjoying their sugar water and finch are showing up.
I am certainly not the only one to write to suggest that you could make a 10 - 12 minute presentation just with a fresh upstate NY snowfall, nature and the farm. Captured like you did those scenes this morning, such a composition would probably win awards! Just A Few Acres is such a picturesque property and that combined with the heartful way that you and the family care for your animals; one can readily see that they are truly content in their surroundings. I encourage you to share those moments (without the snowplowing or human commentary), for the betterment of the world and for a greater general understanding of small family farming Those beautiful, artistically-captured scenes made my morning and there is real competition down here in Bryant, AL today for gorgeous morning views!! May have tied for the win when a monarch butterfly just flew past ...... my first monarch sighting of the year! Thank you again.
Spring Can't come sooner! Pete I have to be honest, I don't know whos more excited for your barn renovation project. You, or the rest of us glad to not watch you push a wheel barrel of pig poo anymore! Hahaha all the best buddy
I have news of that that I need to get to. We've changed the work dramatically, to reflect a new attitude about raising brood pigs.

Love your philosophy on life too... I try to be the best at model building and to be perfect but I'm slowly just building my models warts and all and showing them on my channel and I get about 95 percent positive responses so that also keeps me going in the hobby..

Your March is my September in Australia farming. Waiting for winter to end is always tough but the excitement of spring reminds you why we do this job.
Well it looks like you have the same March "Mellows" we all get this time of the year. we just went through our biggest snowstorm of the season. yep! and it had to wait until the "March Mellow" to dump 30 inches of snow on me and my surroundings!. Birch trees in the back yard are bent over touching the roof of the house. only good news is the temps are over 30 today and its melting!. and we have some warm temps tomorrow and rain so that will help. At least your kids are old enough to know and appreciate your sentiments. Mine were too young and they cried when I told them we were eating Rosy. Bad mistake on my part. live and learn I guess. thanks Pete for sharing and Cary burgers looked really really!! good! ECF
The best part of this time of year is NY is that the snow will most likely be gone a week later!😂😂😂

I noticed the tractor with a slight miss when she came out the shed. I thought it may be a slight ignition trouble, but as it went on you could tell the carb was getting more and more clogged. More wrenching videos to come! Have a great day always Pete. We love your videos. North Chesterfield VA.
