@@meowarijaIn the game it is a fire arrow that goes in a straight line. Obviously it wouldn't be like the anime/manga. In addition to the speed, which is not very fast and could easily be dodged, like a certain boy with gay hair could do in the game

@@zmythhh I don't think jjs needs it, it just gives the game more replayability and stuff like that, It'd be pretty boring if you had to look for someone to fight instead of just jumping in, they have the whole side dash thing that lets you break out of team combos for a reason. I play jjs more even tho I got Halloween (I'm praying for an ult🙏) although that is probably because my friends play it too much

It doesn't make much sense to compare the two, since the only thing similar between them is chaos, and nothing else. I understand what you mean about, but could you explain the unbalanced part to me?

Bruh I wouldn’t consider the anti teaming system to be a bad thing about jjs when it’s the ONLY battlegrounds game that has a anti teaming system
This would be a valid point if jjs didn’t have multiple features/quirks that helped teamers for example if you used a grab move like cursed strikes for vessel and they get hit with an aoe move like divine dog or reversal red only the user gets hit not the person who’s getting attacked which helps teamers since if you get one teamer into a combo they can just brain dead hit u with an aoe move and only u take damage

There’s one thing I think you forgot to mention about JJS. The consistent update schedule. So far every update has taken a week, or two at most, and they aren’t low quality updates either, and most add a move or two to a character, and it really keeps the players coming back. Mahito is halfway finished and it’s been like two weeks, meanwhile for a certain green flying girl, she was just recently finished, and was first made in January.
undeniably true. JJS does update faster however that's dependent on how much quality goes into it. SBG had it's mahoraga made custom with Blender which by itself takes time and is expensive. SBG has spent ~500 USD on a custom mahoraga theme and more. I am not glazing, it's just unironically how much money and effort go into some of these things. not saying JJS is bad but I don't think Tze has spent 500 USD on just the custom theme music for a character.

I just want to point out that sb was not going to add mahoraga for megumi but as soon as jjs adds mahoraga and that gets popular. Then sb adds mahoraga.

untrue, ion wanna shill my vids but I went into depth about megumi specfically, mahoraga has been confirmed for months but has been on a hiatus for a while due to alrages personal reasons

Simple way to fix running : you run SLIGHTLY faster if someone has their back turned at you and aren't full health (not stackable). if they wanna turn back to prevent this, then they won't be able to run, just walk, and you'll catch up anyways.

1- Balance.
(Since he only tackled the ultimates' balance, I will only talk about it.)
The core/point of an ultimate is to be op. "Balance" is thrown out the window when talking about a mode that is specifically made to be OP and a game changer when fighting.
Ultimates are supposed to come out ontop when against non-utltimates, no MATTER WHAT.
Bonus counter point: almost every Ultimate move is interruptable, even domain expansions. the only exception to this is hollow purple, which is impossible to land at a long distance anyway.
2- Runners.
Unless you're a homuncoulos sitting in your room, playing roblox non-stop with thousands of kills; You're not gonna approach them that much.
Even if you do, (Unless you're yuji) All characters have a built-in move designed to counter (or at least try to) runners. Whether if it's Gojo's blue/R, hakari's/Mahito's balls, or literally megumi's entire moveset, you can always deal with runner to SOME kind of degree.
2- Teaming.
Even though I DO agree teaming is a serious issue in this game, still like runners (although a bit more common), you're still not gonna encounter gang-bangers all that much. even if you do, you got things like Blue, cursed strikes, hakari's R, megumis entire moveset (again) to at least HELP you to some degree.
Speaking from experience, Winning a 2v1 (usually most of them are braindead 10 year olds) is not THAT hard. If all else fails, pressing esc + L + Enter is always an option.
(The teaming escape critism)
I mean, if you're getting teamed on by people with basic knowledge of the game's mechanic and combat, you're basically cooked. All jjs did is delayed the dying proccess, giving you an ever so slightly margin of time to clutch up. Also, if they try to juggle you in combos, they can't. Like you said, grabs don't give you I-frames, that applies to BOTH sides. meaning if they try to hit you from one combo to the other, it will most likely hit the other person.
Bonus counter point: you can still escape it even if they try to juggle combos.
3- Community.
There isn't really a "CANCEROUS" side to jjs' community, mainly because it mostly consists of casuals. (no braindead clans).
The people Z_Mythical address in this vid are really really small. even if they were big, they don't even harm anyone in any way. (ahem ahem sorcerer battlegrounds ahem ahem)
Personal touch:
I think the more fun game is JJS. That's it.
The chaotic freedom that JJS offers is not only a change of pace from every single BG game out there, but is also a more fun experience due to the amount of flexibility and uniqueness it consists off.
(Z_Mythich is still right, SBG is for people, and JJS is for people)

1 - as for the balance side the only thing I really touched on was the ultimates and as you mentioned ultimates SHOULD beat non-ults. however if an ult shouldn't just be a win condition in a fight. it may feel great to be on the ult side but on the receiving end it may feel unfair. I haven't had many times where I fight an ult and have been like "aw if I did this or this then I could've won" usually it's "aw if I didn't get caught in the unblockable blue and gotten followed up with the unblockable hitscan red I would've LIVED"
2 - again good points, but as you mentioned if the enemy has any form of thought of the game mechanics it's basically over. and if all else fails then esc + L + enter. not sure how you don't see the bad part of this, if I am forced to leave to have fun then that's stupid icl. as for the bonus point it all depends but you are right, it is possible but you can't fight back usually lol.
3 - as for this, I have had people come to my DMs and curse me out for criticism I have held about JJS, they are all over my other video comments like flies and are honestly dumb kids.
and with your personal opinion I do agree! I enjoy JJS in a more casual environment than I do with SBG. JJS is definitely more flexible with how you play it which gives a bigger feeling of freedom.

And since I've got way too much free time on my hands, I'm gonna counter the counter-counter points with counter points!
1. Ultimates
I'ma give you credit, you are correct on being the "receiving end" of an ultimate, but there's a reason as to why ultimates are made so OP.
90% of the time, if you're fighting someone and you've joined the game for at least 5 minutes, you're gonna also have ultimate ready just like the person you're fighting. Most (If not all) ultimates are made with the intent of fighting other ultimates. If you see someone using ultimate on you, there's nothing stopping you from ulting back!
Bonus counter-counter counter point: The most iconic and noticeable part off JJS is the INSANE lack of i-frames. Every single ultimate move is interrupteable (with the sole exception of Purple), Keeping pressure on the offender is a legitimately good strategy to dealing with Ultimates.
(Well, that and running away.(The Superior option))
2. Teaming
(I noticed you didn't address the runners part so ima just take it as a win 🗣)
You're still correct, but my point was that most of the time, you WOULDN'T meet people with more than 3 braincells who would gang on you. Most of the people who team have either TERRIBLE team coordination skills (literally me), or are just bad at the game.
Bonus counter-count- okay fine ill stop: At the end of the day, teaming isn't the fault of the game's dev or a mechanic or whatever, it's the people that play it that are at fault.
BTW, I DO see the bad at the only practical solution to teaming is ESC + L + enter, but it's not like there are many other options besides that.
3. Braindead kids
I feel sorry for you having to witness people so dumb. I really hope your content reaches to more people with functioning braincells.
(AKA i cant really dispute this cuz.....yk....I'm not rlly a youtuber. The only people i watch on jjs content is fadeunchanged and that gamma guy (the white avatar with the black bandana and cowboy hat). So I wouldn't really know if something like this is true or not.)

I believe that the ultimates doing a lot of damage is kind of the point, every single ult move is cancelable along with the fact that it is pretty easy to escape and survive ults in JJS.

@@ewdesenhistaevery hakari move is cancelable. Purple is countered by 1. If your on the ground stand directly infront of them or 2. Running. You can’t see ANYTHING infront of you while using purple so it’s actually kinda hard to aim.

Half of your reasons why you said jjs is bad is just a skill issue not trying to be mean lol parkour is easy once you learn it and you can beat 2v1s if your good and the op ults are for beating teamers only valid point is the casuals and clan kids but the thing is that every game will have its sweats when you play the game more your going to get better. (This isn't dunking on sb just I wanted to put a new perspective on the game) another thing is jjs has really good teaming control if your getting jumped you can shoot out a burst to knock foes away I already mentioned the ults and the fact that most moves have i frames so its going to be hard to get teamed on if your half decent. Yeah i honestly agree with basically every thing your saying tbh. Parkour can literally be learned in like less than 5 minutes, the ults aren't to bad once you learn how to counter them (specifically gojos and sukunas, which really only require pressure to be put on the user of the ults), and i think the fact that they even added team prevention when other battle grounds games haven't even tried is also cool.

I love this video so much I really don’t like sbg because of the flaws lack of community engagement bad community overall and selfish devs but this video made me realize jjs has just as much flaws and the game that you prefer depends on your taste and I at predetermined. enjoyment is subjective.

Both Gojo and Sukuna ults are able to be beat through pressure, more specifically gojo (sukuna us definately the stronger ult)

You are very misinformed most of sukunas moves can be parried or countered and are easy to dodge

except for rush (and grab) but sukuna is just able to use dismatle + rush or grab, main counter to sukuna is keeping up constant pressure, unlike gojo sukuna actually has enough tools to fight back, gojo has one tool to fight back (blue)

tbh i think this comparison was kinda unfair, most of the criticisms of jjs were about the community, which for judging a game for the GAME isn't really fair. Every problem listed with jjs could be applied to sorcerers- like the ganking problem especially. when making a "definitive" review of a game you should look at the devs and gameplay, the feel and anything like that- the game devs cant really do anything about the community and how they decide to play their game

Both are great but my take on this is JJS better just because i personally find it more fun to play
best thing of jjs for me is going against teamers, getting jackpot first try against them is just so satisfying
Abt the runners in jjs, i swapped my main from gojo to megumi for this 1 reason, megumi forces you to fight them because all of megumis moves are medium to far range and get people off the ladders, so they have no choice but to fight or slowly lose all their hp
I agree with everything said about jjs nothing is more annoying then stupid teamers saying the dumbest shit 24/7. I stopped playing sorcerers battlegrounds a while because of jjs but this review of both games proves that although they are different in some ways they are the same. sorcerer bg hasn't been good since they added Halloween, ive not had a single bit of fun in SBG after the Halloween update the game changed from pretty fun to way more focused on competitive gameplay and it sucks(also the game generally sucks now)
JJS gets regular updates, there hasn't been a single actual bad update unlike sorcerers, the balance somehow isnt as bad as sorcerers(not saying its good) and its ACTUALLY FUN
idk if this is a ping problem but jjs feels so clunky for me to fight in, the community stuff r fun to watch tho

Honestly a great review of both games. I still remember the infinite black flash combo in sorcerers but i am glad they fixed the dash tech so theres no one shot comboes woth just black flash and foward dashes. Second, jjs is chaotic but great and would be amazing if jjs took notes on sorcerers like instead of the jjs Sukuna domain looking like a McDonald's happy meal. (Lol)
My personal Toji combo in this game after the Nerf is dash attack, 3 m1s, rapid shot, down slam or uppercut, into playful cloud, into 3 m1s into shadow stab

Honestly, Sorcerer BG has an issue with runners as well. I can't get into a competitive ranked match because players are so toxic, constantly running away and spamming emotes.

Jjs is more to goof around and have fun with your friends, while sbg is an arena made to fight. The games kinda have different goals, so there isn’t much to compare.

I think that in JJS its not "Gank or be ganked", its "Be ganked and then gank". Im not really in the game to have a fair fight, if you are low health in a serious 1v1 i will straight up just ult and one shot you and the guy you're fighting with, i just want the kills. I have one question (i do not intend to hate on anybody with this question) but why are you bringing up getting ganked when it happens in every battle grounds game? From my 60+ hours of experience it doesn't really happen any more than it would in any other battlegrounds game?
the problem is how it handles gank prevention. almost every move is cancelable even mid grabs. the actual gank prevention doesnt help either as it has a cooldown and doesnt function if they just juggle you in combos

To be honest, I like both equally. Sorcerer battlegrounds is good, but the punishing system SUCKS. Fourth M1’s that are missed can’t be punished, and the m1 trading kinda sucks. Plus with Itadori’s black flash. Not to mention the endless pool of Teamers that will jump you for breathing. But on the other hand, JJS is good, but the ults are extremely unbalanced, the anti team sucks, and more. So pretty much, they’re only good with friends as they both have annoying problems that will probably never get fixed.

The anti team is genuinely the best of most battle ground games though it is very janky. But ults being unbalanced is skill issue u can just run. Or parkour

In my opinion I think sorcerer battle grounds is better but that doesn’t mean jjs is a bad game but I just prefer better graphics even if the combat is weird.

team fortress 2, you have a team, some of the maps have fortresses and is the 2nd version of itself
phantom forces, phantom hinting towards stealthy gameplay as the recommended playstyle(though pretty sure everyone went loud) and forces being armed forces

should be clear that the name will only define the game or atleast hint at what a major part of the game would be like, shouldn't always be on the quality aspect

rant from me but 7:17 , respectfully, thats how they should be. unlike in sorcerers battleground, you can actually hit the person using the domain expansion and it will cancel it, which makes for good counterplay on both parties. you say running is a bigger part of JJS, but youre only including clips of the ranked mode of sorcerers, and the casual FFA version of JJS. also at 7:36 youre pretty much consistently teaming on people lol look at 7:47 theres literally 3 people chasing one guy 😭😭 in the discord server, there has been a lot of suggestions to buff the anti team mechanics and im sure tze is working on something. and despite SBG having far better anti team mechanics, teaming is still very prominent regardless. and finally, at 10:02, you say "im not trying to generalize a big part of the community, but they are the most vocal" but thats literally what generalizing is. both communities have it if you look hard enough, the single comment you showed also has barely any likes.
