Them losing, even though they had the advantage over you (inside their head) probably crushed their sense of reality, so they could have wanted to find a way to hurt you just as much as you hurted them. When I left the game and went to another battlegrounds game they all joined me and started to beat me up. I obviously switched servers but one of them joined and said "You are about to get targetted" I was actually scared on how they are joining me because one of them JOINED MY PRIVATE SERVER I reported them all and they got banned the group was named the "death list"
