  • The Worx wx742.9 part of the Maker X range, supperbly fits in with your smaller projects or finer touch work, just simply thin down and spray on with intense detail and control!
I show how to perform running repairs on the cosmetic finish of a hyundai i10`s wiper blade arms, taking them from rust to - well a better finish than they were! removing the rust right back to bare metal and then re-painting using the awesome control and precision of the wx742.

Maybe a coat of Rust-Oleum first? Looks like a rattle can would be a whole lot easier, no?

Easier yes, but not as froogle, this was about 7.5ml of paint. Rustoleum would have been good as they have rusted again now. New water based paints for you though

It's actually a double action, with a single action you can't pull back. On a double action, you press to release air and pull back to release paint.

Towards the end I believe I called it the wx741 that is featured in the video but not when I have a airbrush in my hand :-P lol 😆 I spotted it but included it anyway because I said it with such confidence I doubt others would notice :-P lol

You guys can still get model paints in a tiny can? XD I love that lol. Also for the air brush I ended up getting a airbrush hose and a quick connect for it as well, so the hose plugs into the compressor and the brush itself gets a quick connect on its end. I found the compressor gets hot in long use as well as the vibration gets numbing if holding it to long and a hose in the middle solved all that. Bonus is now I can use any airbrush with my kit.

I heard a rumour that Britain would fall apart without our British airfix kits and micro pots of paint :-P Germany have them too :-) I remember the air brush ¼" hose extensions - we used to sell them at the model shop i used to work at but as we only sold Aztec - they came with their own hose (and at those prices should be gold plated too) it's good to know they can be used on this, I assume badger airbrush accessories like cups etc can be used with them too?

@@mikesptworld I think just about anything should work with it as its a standard airbrush in every way I can tell :) I love that its not all proprietary so you can always fix or replace parts as needed

This is like ‘watching paint dry’🤔

Dried paint is far more entertaining though especially when it starts bubbling and blistering! :-D
