1:14 This summary is extremly helpful. Thank-you.
9:48 "What the Internet is doing to Our Brains?"
12:20 Thinking about thinking: "The Shallows"
    13:22 Critical Thinking "Mind Edge"
    14:20 & 15:21 Epistemology

A sister missionary from my mission shared a unique experience:
"We had seven investigators at Church today. One of our investigators, named Robert, can't hear us well. He is deaf. He has been to Church for four weeks, now. I was thinking, 'Why does he desire to come to Church?' because he shows up in Church all by himself. We asked him, 'Why do you come to Church even though you don't understand or hear what we say?' He said, 'I've been to a lot of Churches, but in this Church I can feel something."'
I am a member not because of what I know but more so because of what I feel. For me it's really about seeing light. Often when others tell me things about their church or the LDS church that is good or bad, I often ask myself if I've found more truth or light and what sacrifices should I be making to act on that knowledge.

I have never wasted time reading The CES Letter. I have The Messiah and won't go away because He has the words of Eternal Life. Imagine you are eating the most delicious dessert that your personal health will allow. A person walks up and tells you how gross tasting the dessert is with the deliciousness in your mouth. Would you be dissuaded? That parable is to illustrate why The CES Letter and other things like it don't dissuade me.

Same. It should really just be ignored by all. Those who read it don’t come out unscathed, whether they stay in or not. The doubt it oozes is all over them and won’t wash off easily.

When I was around 16 years or so I started reading anti-Mormon literature. Fortunately beforehand my mother had read the scriptures with me one on one and I developed a love of the scriptures. I had read the Book of Mormon multiple times and had become familiar with it. As I read anti material I found a few lies off the top of my head because I was familiar with the scriptures. I did more digging and found out more lies in the literature by searching the sources they provided. From all my reading the beginner anti material will try and disprove the Book of Mormon, however, expert anti material will not mention the Book of Mormon at all and will focus on history and the weakness and failings of the members of the church. God works with us in our weakness and imperfection which is true. The later material does require one to have an understanding of doctrine and knowing the difference between doctrine and culture that is within the church, but contrary to the doctrine.

Thank you for sharing - I have found the least attacked thing is the production of the Book of Mormon itself - this was to be the miracle and witness of the restoration and it is very hard to attack and nobody has been able to come up with a satisfactory answer as to how someone with a 3rd grade equivalent education, could dictate such an amazing, inspiring, intricate and complex book in 65 days and without any notes - stream of dictation! Here are two of the videos on my channel talking about this:

On a relevant tangent, my 9-year-old daughter was blocked by her mother from being baptized until after her mother succeeded to dissuade her from asking/wanting baptism. My daughter had been asking for baptism for months around her 8th birthday but was blocked solely by her mother. I read scriptures with her one-on-one but she doesn't like or appreciate it now. Your comment gives me hope that things may change!

Wow… that book you read from about how the internet is affecting our brain made me realize that that is probably what most of us do when we approach the Lord with questions…. We get on our knees and ask a question and if we don’t get the “short” answer right then and there our conclusion is that he didn’t answer and therefore must not be real….I have found a pattern…that for me I ask then I go about my day, week and sometimes months or yrs and then one day the answer is made clear… and it was through that time, experiences, and things I went through while waiting that the answer is given even deeper then I could have understood with a “quick answer” and my testimony is so much more solid.
thank you for doing this video.

Elder Corbridge was once my Stake president . he is an amazing man and I remember how difficult that was for him to look at all that anti-Mormon stuff. Isn’t it obvious that Satan wants to destroy the truth. I’m very grateful that my patriarchal blessing has one part that strongly states, “ Do not listen to those that would plant
doubt in your heart that Jesus is the Christ, that His church and kingdom has been restored in these latter days.” I’m very grateful that I have taken heed to that statement! My grandmother used to say…
” The more you stir a turd, the more it stinks.” That’s kind of gross. But when you think about what is happening when people want to stir up negativity and follow the enticings of the adversary to spread the bad news, it’s actually worse than literally stirring the turd.
It is vital that we prayerfully study the scriptures, which is pure truth. Gain our own testimony through asking and pondering. Gain a testimony that the Lord still speaks to a prophet today… listen to what President Nelson is trying to tell us, take heed to his words and the words of the modern apostles. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that his main mission was to be an instrument in the Lord‘s hand to restore beautiful truths, doctrines and principles that originally existed. I love the gospel so much and I will never listen to anything that would plant the tiniest seed of doubt in my heart..!
I’m so grateful for this good brother, he Itruly has a gift to help unfold the beauties and the teachings of the Lord. I just know that anyone can be blessed if they seek to understand pure truth and seek to obtain the spiritual gift of discernment

At 3:25, the percentages, proportions and categories of balogne/malarkey match almost perfectly the propaganda defaming and falsely accusing me that my ex-wife continuously spews in family court, to law enforcement, and to anyone else who will give her ear. Total narcissism and pathological lying (and spin/misleading and exaggeration are merely different ways of lying)!!

I Was Wondering if you if Could make a video, talking about all of those things, Joseph Smith Couldn't have had known, or had access to? Thank you for your informative video.
I know personally Jeremy Runnels, I was in the same ward with him and his family, La Mirada Ward.
As you know, Jeremy has physical disability with his speech and hearing. But regardless his disability, indeed God has blessed him with greater ability to learn, he becomes a very smart man and after all the Runnels are very smart. Both His dad and brother are CPA’s.
They are very smart, just lack of wisdom. As the results, they become natural men, Atheists.
Those remind me what apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 *But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.*
      Again Thank you so much!

The CES letter is one where those that fight against the Lord and His Church throw as much mud up against the wall, hoping something will stick and destroy someone's testimony. We do have answers for all of the mud. Their arguments are always poorly reasoned and omit much of actual history and findings. Thanks for your work on that.
