Spending the whole night in a world you love until the sun comes up is something I wish everyone could experience, especially if it's not disruptive to your health or routine, but either way it can be unforgettable.
yup, totally did that the first weekend of Baldur's gate, started the game on Friday night after dinner, continued playing until the sun is up that forced me to go to bed and woke up 5 hours later to continue my game on Saturday. What a game
I really don’t know how I did 120 hours in two weeks worked 80 hours took care of my daughter, spent time w my dad, did my housework and I’m still alive but I do feel my mental state is not becoming well lol
Never experienced it before until this game. I’m a cod and NBA2K gamer pretty much, I enjoy multiple gamers and always didn’t have enough patience for story mode stuff. I was at my parents for a weekend and decided to play at 9pm, and put my phone in the other room to charge. At some point my shoulders and back started killing me so I got up to check my phone and there was light coming through the living rooms windows, I had stayed up till 6am but it felt like I had only played for 2 hours. I remember telling myself, holy shit is this what people meant when they expressed why they love story mode games so much
@@trevorwg4878 yup, cause its like another world as long as the story is engaging and interesting, you just want to know more. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, that is what sucks you back for more.
My current playthrough is the hunt after spider mommy as a drow (rogue assasin / gloomstalker ranger, call me min maxer ive played dnd for years). I think we got so much in common and my dark necromantic urges wont bother her i think :). Jeez I'm such a nerd, but D&D is such a great escape from the daily slog :). Oh and all of my party got raise dead, because the zombie bros rock :).
This game is a bisexual nerd's dream / nightmare All of these hot indivuals want my character cuz my character has too much powerful rizz but I as the person have too much of an awkwardness so I feel really bad when I have to decline people cuz I already chose the partner for the playthrough 😂 (In my current run, my Half Elf Rouge has found herself in a typical YA lover's triangle between choosing Gale or Wyll and I am living for my own narrative 😂)
You should have like two billion subscribers honestly. This is the first video of yours I've seen, and I've never been so engaged before with a "content creator" or "someone of your generation" in general. You are really, really, really good at what you do, and utterly charming too. What a gift.
i could have written this myself. absolutely agree. then on top of everything else the cosplay elements... not something i'm particularly into but worked brilliantly. so spot on without being over the top. The Githyanki makeup was barely there and yet completely captured the essence. The shadowheart again was minimal but completely worked and felt... right. Not in your face just the perfect amount to get it right. and the Astarion... well the same could be said for all of them.
This made me feel SO MUCH BETTER about completely giving up on being productive for close to a week straight and just playing the game! You captured so much of what makes it so special :)
speical? tell me your a frist world country without telling me your afrist world country taking a week off in the usa who works 40 hours ppl else ware work 50-6- for 10-30% les money what make a coment like this so spcial is the lackof empathy as a comment like this is usally getting assistance from tax payers they dont pay back = i knaow aferw ppl who make less then me but get more... so broken system how can poor person eatbetter then me..(mf door dash yeah they have a loit) the same reason for 18 years republicans hate back round checks on mf guns but will cry over backround checks.... 16 year olds need adriver liseneces.. but the nra has posioned rep tards we want any and all guns... # math obmaba 0 gun resitrion in 8 years (he only asked for baisic safty fyi... he and others can add bad men to no flight plans but the same ppl we can add to no lflight plans the nra attacks.. then they and rep tards for 13 years send thoughts and prayer... a spit to the face whent he usa had the highest school shootings x4 of the world for 6 years....
I have two weeks off at work and I spend the majority of my waking time playing this game, and while it would've been nice to do other stuff, I'm glad I could've spent however many hours I wanted and was able to. I just played until 8 am. and it was truly magical.
I’m gonna be so real with you rn, I accidentally clicked on this video and I was gonna go back to the one I intended to watch - but I’m SO GLAD I stuck around and watched this! Like… YOURE BASICALLY ME! I’m so obsessed with this game and the characters and get so immersed and I feel like you and I could just fangirl about it together for hours and hours. I’m about to go check out the rest of your content now hahaha
After being an adult who's called mad and out of touch with reality because of getting into things, hearing "allow yourself harmless joy" got to me c':
Ah reality The middle east where my family lives and there's a war going on right now which makes me insanely jittery and very anxious thinking about it. Gotta love people with easier realities, must be nice to have it nice all the time.
Easier is subjective. Our bodies don't rank suffering, so while a war may give someone anxiety....you could have that exact type of anxiety manifest in a 12 year old in a private school being bullied. It sounds crazy but...ultimately the lesson to learn is compassion is needed for all and its not a competition of who has it worse. @@samf.s.7731
This reminded me to play the game like I'm reading/writing a book about my characters' adventures. Sometimes I get so caught up in getting the best outcomes, best loot, best builds, etc. that I forget to just create interesting situations, and it also kills the fun to optimize too much. It's so so so fun to just let things play out. Thanks for that!
Theo - Wyll's voice actor - said the romance scenes were his favorite part. I can't wait to experience it (even though he's not very high on my romance list)
@ghostiiiekun6636 he tried to kiss my dark urge who'd already smashed astarion and lae'zel and had an active romance with karlach so I don't think that's true😭
Watching this blew my freaking mind. Not even exaggerating. I knew there was something special about this game, but just how special I couldn't even fathom. Larian has actually created true D&D gameplay in a digital medium. A creation like this can only come from a collective of minds with uncompromising love and passion for their work ❤
i wasn’t expecting the romance to be that good, but the first romance scene with karlach while we couldn’t even touch gave me butterflies in my stomach irl… games aren’t supposed to make me feel this way
i dont like these companions after 600 hours T_T i dont like evil companions.. dragon age origins companions are still superrior althought i never liked morrigan
Have u played the Mass Effect trilogy? I think u would appreciate those romances too, even after getting into Shadowheart I still feel like no game will ever have a romance like Tali for me
I’ve been wanting a video on “how to make playing video games more fun” and this is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I’ve restarted so many times due to not feeling that connection I feel with my D&D characters, and I haven’t understood why it’s lacked that sparkle of joy until now. Thank you so much for making this.
Ooof how did you know I've been getting caught up in 'playing the game wrong'??? I've spent years playing games where there is a right and wrong way to play and it's been making it difficult to get myself out of the habit of being nervous when making decisions - even minor ones! This game is truly a gift
The animation director said that with the way they made character creation, with the music and voice at the start, it is supposed to take place while you have the tadpole put into your head. The whole creation is your character trying to remember who they are aka "find themselves". It's all about the details and love they put into the game that reflects into the experience
THANK YOU for touching on “Explorer” mode. I am not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination, but I love D&D and wanted to give this game a go. I have never once felt shame for playing on the easiest mode. I just love a good story ✨
My wife and I are completely enthralled by this game. We both take turns playing on my computer (her laptop either needs more XP or she needs a new machine). Anyway, this has definitely helped us to limit our playtime in Faerun. If (and when) we get her set up with a better computer, we are going to play together and I'm pretty sure we won't be seen by the outside world for years. It's all good though, neither of us feels bad about being lost in what is an amazing gaming experience. Thanks for sharing your personal journey here. And also congratulations on getting sponsored by Larian! That's pretty amazing! PS, Also, you asked about Minsc... I'm not sure if you have already been told about him, but he was one of the characters you could recruit in Baldur's Gate (one)... He was a ranger with a pet miniature giant space hamster named Boo (who permanently occupied one of his equipment slots and would squeak any time you clicked on him). One of his battle cries was "Go for the eyes, Boo! Go for the EYES!" (BG1 was a great game for its time too!) Minsc has since been a very popular character in the Baldur's Gate/Forgotten Realms series (Jaheira too, to a slightly lesser extent). Hope that helps.
Omg thank you for writing that bit about Minsc. I haven't met this character yet (only started playing 2 days ago) but life feels richer knowing there are wonderfully weird brains out there thinking up the concept of a space hamster called Boo. This knowledge brings me so much joy :D
I came across this video while deciding to purchase the game. I cannot express just how much I appreciate the amount of effort put into this video, from the storytelling to the delivery with all your different outfits/make-up.
Omg I’ve missed watching this type of video :’) I love coming back to your channel. Your passion is infectious and it always fills me with so much joy and motivation to pursue the things I’m most excited about ❤
I dont even play Baldurs Gate or plan to play it (cuz i only have a switch) but this video that you did made me understand why this game won the game of the year and now i get the love for the game. So thanks, thank you for this wonderful video it was so good to watch from beggining to end
Down by the River is such a beautiful song. You are 100% correct on how it makes me feel! This video was a blast and a great way to explain to others how I enjoy things! (I grab a coffee and turn on my mood lights. And one of my many scents to get me in the zone) so thank you for sharing! Thanks for being an accountabilibuddy today with this video!
there's a music box in the game that plays down by the river and I have it active most of the time. I put it on the 1 hotkey so when it stops I can immediately restart it
Lae'Zel's storyline and Shadowheart's storyline I've done 3 times each and those are my favorite moments. It means so much to those characters and it has huge outcomes and development. BG3 is 100/10. I had over 200 hours in just the first month of release.
Loved this sooooo much, I love that I feel like I can talk about my love of D&D, LARP, and gaming without feeling cringey, or uncomfortable and that has a lot to do with you os thank you!
This video was literally the reason BG3 got on my radar and became a MUST buy for me, and goodness am I glad, because it's such an amazing game. I've just finished my first play through and already started a second one.
Hey Momo, you always manage to put out your videos at the perfect time! I just started playing Baldurs Gate 3 yesterday and i believe it will quickly become one of my favourite games i ever played. There is so much possibility and beauty in there, it feels so alive. It is not silly, no. You vocalise how many of us feel and your love-letter to this game is just an other example of how art can inspire art (your videos are amazing!) and how it can help people connect. Thank you for beeing so vulnreable and making so many people feel understood
I searched for tips for Honour mode, and somehow found my way to this video, and learning how you "ritual cast" before playing BG3 or any game (or doing anything worth doing in general) has has such a profound effect on me, I can only come to your comment section to thank you sharing your message, making this video and enlightening me in a way I didnt think was possible. A huge thank you from a new subscriber!
okay but the outfits? the editing? your sense of humor? you put into words my exact thoughts on what became my favourite game ,i'm so glad this went into my recommended! keep up, i'll be sticking aorund :)
Thank you so much for this video, I struggle with people not understanding my love of video games and the culture, and the fact that I am also older and a grandma, they dismiss it as silly and a waste of time. I felt seen and validated while watching this video so thank you for you.
Immersion isn’t just getting sucked into an experience to where the real world around you washes away. It’s about becoming one with the story/characters and really feeling like you are part of the experience. The world feels real and alive. You can literally picture yourself in this fantasy setting. It’s that warm, cozy spot between reality and imagination.
Momo, your videos are INSANE. You could have made 5 parts out of this huge undertaking but you produced it as this one video and it's a spectacular watch. As a relatively new viewer, I am so impressed by your humor, your great video editing, the various clips of your life you are using (listening to you and your partner in this kitchen makes this video feel so immersive (to me, as a non native speaker, it means = feeling like part of the world), you seem to be a person of SO many talents and it's so fascinating to watch and follow that!! You are very brave for persuing youtube/internet media as a main job and I must tell you: with your personality, your editing skills, your great script writing and your beauty you are such a GEM in the youtube/internet world! Thank you for sharing this long video with us, I enjoyed your perspective of BGIII in your life a lot and I am super looking forward to experiencing more of Momo's world :) Hugs from Germany!
Ahhhh!! Baldur’s Gate. It’s so good!! The developers really went above and beyond with this one.✨☺❤ Also, beyond grateful for a new video from you!! Your videos always feel like home.
Please take this a one hundred percent real feedback! Ok around the 17 minute area you say how you want people to enjoy your content so much. I have never seen you or your content before today. This one video is it. I am 43 so I have been around since the basic start of the internet we know today. Weird flex I know. I say that because i am a huge content devourer. I watch everything and anything. You have it! You have found the secret recipe to being a content creator! I always make sure to like or dislike every video I watch but I don't sub unless I really like it and I subscribed to you before I got halfway finished with the first video i ever saw you do! Your hard work definitely shows and is very much appreciated.
Words are not enough to express how much this game meant to me a lifelong gamer and tabletop player. Such a great game, a masterpiece that I'm truly happy to play.
The idea that astarion alone has 9 hours of voice acted lines (at least) is positively insane to me and it goes to show this game is like witcher 3 level of story telling
I’ve been slowly making my way through this game and have tried avoiding a lot of content just so that I can experience things myself for the first time without being spoiled. I’ve started checking out videos in the last week or so, and this one has been my favorite by far. Thank you for making this. I already know I’m going to rewatch it again later
I love the little moment you show of your druid character with all the little traits you've described her with, totally out of her depth and panicking, chased and cornered at the edge of a cliff by a mindflayer. Ally down and out of options, finally wildshaping and lashing out. How perfectly cinematic that it was a critical hit as well. Love this game so much!
I’ve come up with such intricate backstories for my bg3 characters and have gotten so immersed in the world of the game. It is my favorite game of all time, has so much replayability, and is just a quality experience. Thank you so much for making a video on it! The closet cosplays of all the characters were so fun and I’ll definitely try out some of the tips you gave!
I loved this video not only because I'm also crazy about BG3 but because I could tell you really loved it and was having so much fun making this video. I was smiling and laughing the entire time watching it.
It was so lovely to get cozy and watch you talk passionately about something you love. Thank you for doing what you do. Your videos and posts are such a comfort to me.
I know you probably won't see this but hey, just wanted to drop it here to say I've been watching you and your LARP videos for years - thank you for all the hard work you put into everything. It honestly amazes me how humans like you, who put so much effort into work and life and enjoyment of it even exist, when I struggle to just get out of bed every day and am just generally a miserable human being. Watching people like you makes me genuinely feel hope that I can change. Thank you for everything you do for us, and for yourself. Take care, and I wish you all the best and blessings. Sending the good feels, from, a very hungry magpie! x
I rolled my eyes when I saw the video runtime, but I’m really impressed with how you edited this and put it all together. That would’ve taken a long time, so thank you.
This is the best video I've seen in a long time. The hilarious wit, the real feeling of love for the game and nailing down exactly why, with of course the wonderful costumes and makeup. Bravo :D
I have loved your videos and the little bits and cut aways in the middle are so good for my poor tired brain to hold on to im glad to see that as i grow your content still resonates with me
I have followed you for years and seeing you work so hard but still talked about struggling broke my heart. Me and my long distance best friend would send each other your videos all through the pandemic and dream about larping together and recently went to our first one. I’m so happy for you and proud of you on this new journey 💕 So glad Larian is incredible and sees how absolutely amazing you are too. Congratulations!
I watched this vid because I was sorta intrigued in BG3 but you sold me on it and I can't thank you enough. I'm now only smelling mergrass and don't even know what actual grass looks like. I also never skip the main menu cuz that intro song reminds me of GOT with a mix of star wars and it makes me wanna go dungeon crawling. I don't think I've enjoyed a game this much since subnautica and I'm barely even in the goblin camp lol
This actually made me want to play BG3 - I've literally spent the last month watching from the sidelines, thinking the character stuff and dnd mechanics are so cool but I couldn't access it because I actively don't like direct combat and find it stressful to be forced into (still haven't picked TotK back up yet bc of the gloom hands). You made it sound not just cool but actively invited me in to play as I am, and showed a way to play that I haven't seen before. I hope your sponsor knows how valuable that is! As soon as I work out how to run it on my definitely not gaming laptop, I will be playing this game 🥰
I was casually watching the video and then you highlight "The Song"! I instantly pressed like. :) I never expected a music video sequence there on the mountainside and it hit me right in the feels. Alfira is really the best! In many ways she as a character personifies the game itself, all that I love about it. (She and Lakrissa, what a loveable duo they are.) The hopes and dreams, loss and sorrow, dark depths of despair and possible victimhood. But despite all this with a bit of help she's also so very brave and strong and dares to have dreams and aspirations and it's contagious. The game tries to kill her off time and again and keeping her alive and not just that but happy and inspired with music and positive support to drive away her dark is perhaps the real mission. At least it's become my PCs main mission. The rest are just things that need to be done to see her and Lakrissa safe in Baldurs Gate just living their best lives. However the journey there is neither safe or a certainty, but wow, what an adventure it is!
totally ADORED this video! the work that has been put into it, the way it made me feel connected to the game, i can't wait to play it too! LOVED LOVED LOVED
I was so immersed with my first playthrough because I was out here, playing my usual Tiefling Cleric of Life who worships Selune. Who's purpose in life is to guide the lost through the dark and help tieflings from all backgrounds, going into the game blind and I get blessed with a whole story beat where you save the tieflings and ensuring their safe passage towards Baldussy's Gate. I cried multiple times throughout the playthrough. Discovering the grove, gasping when i saw the tieflings are guarding the gate, cried a little when one of them died, prayed for the perished and honored them by putting wine next to the grave, met all the tieflings, babysat and rescued multiple rascals and met Mol (my child), partied with them when i finally defeated the goblins ensuring their safe travels and i SOBBED when I discovered that they were ambushed. The tiefling guard i had a little crush on, the brooding one at the party, dead on the floor broke my heart.. Notable Tiefling NPCs I would like to highlight that made me so immersed just made my playthrough so grand: • Bex and Danis. A tiefling couple that wants to go to baldurs gate and live in a comfy house together with a cat ;w; the first thought i had in my head was I WANNA BE NEIGHBORS!!! I wanna live right next to them, share bread and wine, be there when they have a kid so i can spoil them too, i wanna be besties with them ;w; theyre such an adorable couple and I gagged when Act 2 separated them. I spent HOURS trying my best to save the tieflings from Moonrise and cried (a lot) when they reunited ;w; • Dammon. Holy fuck, if I could, I would. If Larion would let me, I would romance the hell out of him! He's so handsome, AND FOR WHAT??? He has the kindest eyes, he's so soft in speaking and everytime he speaks about infernal machinery it makes me wanna gush about him. He's such a bean but hes also straight to the point with Karlach, he doesnt sugar coat ;w; #LetMeRomanceDammon! • Alfira and Lakrissa. Two Sapphic lesbians i didnt know were close until later in the game but i met them early and i love them! Alfira you meey by the cliffs, singing her song about her teacher (Which is REALLY SAPPHIC! Im deceased) and Lakrissa sitting on the top of Zevlor's cave thingy where you make a bet with her on them staying alive to baldies gyat. Saved Lakrissa from Moondussy towers and brought her back to the inn to see Lesbian Relief from Alfira when Lakrissa walked up to her, thats when i went 🤨"Gae~?" AND WAS CONFIRMED WHEN WE GOT TO BALDURS GATE AND ALFIRA IS ON TOP OF ELFSONG TAVERN LOOKING AT THE VIEW SAYING "Ill never get tired watching this view" and Lakrissa saying, "Me too" BUT SHES LOOKING AT ALFIRA AND I NEARLY PASSED OUT SQUEALING SJGDUSHSJHS • Rolan, Cal and Lia. I was selling all the loot i have collected to the smol vendor and heard them arguing nearby and like the nosy chismosa i am, i slauntered over to say Hi~ Used my tiefling charm to convince them to stay and Badabing badaboom, I just opened myself to one of my favorite Character Development arcs I have ever witnessed a character could get. At first Rolan could be snappy and irritable at the beginning, pissy and prissy, moreso when his siblings are kidnapped. Hes arrogant, egoistic and prideful to being Larroakan's apprentice. I knew he was the type of guy who wouldnt stay put in the inn, and ventured forth to moonrise towers. I just happened upon him when I gremlined over to see if theres a troll under the bridge to see him ambushed by shadow things. I sent his ass back to the inn, saved his siblings and was happy to see him at baldurs gate! Though short lived cuz i saw that he was being mistreated by the cunty elf in the roof. I was pissed and let Dame Aylinussy let Larroakan feel the "Soft touch of a Lesbian" and snapped his back (deserved, periodt💅✨) and appointed Rolan as the new Master of the Tower. Even after gaining that much wealth, he didnt forget about his siblings. Hell he took them with him to the roof! (With Larroakan's crumpled body still on the floor) Playing as a Tiefling of Selune, Guiding these tieflings to their best fates has been so immersive to me. To bring safety to the remaining tieflings, the kids! It brought me so much joy that my character has done their purpose, a beacon of light that guided these tieflings from the shadowcurse, rescued them from certain death and brought them back to their loved ones and safely ushered them to safety was such a wild ride. I'll never not be impressed by how much you can be immersed by this game.
The costuming and makeup in this video is just *chefs kiss* !! The cinematography, humour, and everything too. An amazing video, Momo, and I’m so proud of you
0:55 The Astarion laugh is basically "I did something I shouldn't have, and loved every second of it!" Which is what we all felt after pulling an all nighter on release.
my first Tav is based off my irl D&D tiefling warlock girlie! small town girl, on her first adventure, and of course it was love at first sight when wyll appeared (she has a habit of letting her head drift into the clouds of fairytale-romance books). when wyll's romance climax hit my playthrough, i let out the most ungodly screech of happiness knowing that my warlock girlie and wyll are engaged. this game will have a special place in my heart for years to come!
You were the last person I was expecting a Baldur's Gate 3 video from to be honest, but I'm so happy you made one! I too am ABSOLUTEly obsessed with this game. Idk it feels like something just takes control of me when I start playing so I'm pulled into the BG3 plane of existence and lose track of all conceivable reality, space and time. It's as if something wriggling inside my brain beckons me towards it at all times... It wants me to play it... I HAVE TO PLAY MOOOAAAR!
It took me 4 months and just over 400 recorded hours to beat this game. I absolutely loved it. And I really enjoyed this heartfelt tribute you made to it. Thanks!
Helloooo Momo! God I wish I was able to get Baldurs Gate, it's been so fun seeing a bunch of my favorite creatures get so into it lol. I hope you're doing well, this video was really fun and interesting to watch, I can't believe the level of attention to detail and such that the creators of Baldur's Gate put into the game, it's incredible :D
"Quickly bang out a character..." Ahahaha. Famous last words. But hey, 2 hours IS probably what I'd do, if only I could play the game. Sadly, it won't run on my elderly computer, so until I can buy a new one, I'm glutting on playthroughs, and, well, basically ANY content that pops up in my recommendeds (how I found this video). I'm SO ADDICTED to a game I can't even play. Seeing different playthroughs has given me a glimpse of just how HUGE this game is. There are so many options, and so many side options and OMG the things Larian thought to add are just mind-boggling. The music runs through my head all day, every day. I watch other people's battles and I cheer when they think of strategies I was yelling at my screen for them to employ. Ahahaha. Holy crap, Larian. What have you unleashed upon the world? 💙
@@stuminnis4050 Haha. I've started playing BG1:EE. Just wiped out Mutamin and his basilisks, on my way to the Bandit Camp so Kivan won't leave the party. 😄
Such a good game, I could probably write a 10,000 word essay on my first play though alone. I gave Wyll the Performer feat after he showed me his love for dance and we reunited with a bard from earlier in an inn. Gave him a violin because of all the tropes about devils being virtuosos with string instruments. I could’ve just boosted CHR by 2 but I appreciated the extra spice, especially since we don’t have a bard.
This is the video that made me realize what Tav meant. I’m like 80 hours in and thought I’d missed some vital companion somewhere that everyone else had gotten lol
as someone who always struggles with transitioning from one thing to another, your advice is soooo useful, getting into the mode to do smth is def a thing i need to take more time in.
I spent over 2 hours making my first character and it was actually worth it. I spent almost that much time making my Elden Ring Character, but then I hardly saw what my character looked like.
Honestly I really enjoy hearing you gush about the game, bc it’s those super in depth nerdy things, that I love about games. From the way the music makes my soul transcend, to the deep mechanics that I can just research to understand how it all works together, to the deep character moments that are played out just perfectly! It’s just nice to hear someone who can put it all into words. Currently obsessed with this game😂
As a newly diagnosed ADHD girly with ~350 hours in BG3, a love for D&D and all things RPG, an apartment full of crafting projects, and a deep need for cozy vibes, this video and your channel feel like coming home. This is the first video of yours I've watched, but glancing at the backlog has me convinced I'll not only have several hours of companionship ahead of me with your existing content but also something to look forward to when you next post. Such a great video, with so many good points (as someone who is also "bad at video games," the point re: explorer/balanced/tactician had me nodding enough to give me whiplash). I hope you get/take time to chill and enjoy some more Faerûn adventures.
This makes me so happy! I have been waiting for a game like this since maybe oblivion! So much choice and so well executed! Mad how well they succeeded
Your advice helped a lot! I've just had the most immersive BG3 session since launch. 3 hours passed so quickly, and were stopped only because it's nearly 2 am :D. I barely progressed storywise, and yet I feel I've done so much! First time that it felt much more of an true adventure than merely a video game. Thank you!
The music in BG3 has been some of the BEST game music I've ever listened to. When you ended up doing character creation for so long because of the song, I felt that. Same thing occurred to me when I was in the battle against Raphael 🤣. Coming from someone who never played DnD, this game has been such a game changer. I'm on my 2nd personal run and started a multiplayer run with my boyfriend.
The person or team at Larian who decided to pick you up for a sponsored video needs a raise. Did not know of your existence prior to watching this. I consider sponsored videos ads. I have watched, and been thoroughly entertained by a 36 minute ad. You got yourself a sub, and I might even buy the game. Job well done.
@rosswilliam-gu7vo because she did she went so far out of her way to call herself and him "they, they're, they've, themselves, themselves" etc, through the whole video. Nothing wrong with it, I'm a liberal, just seemed very awkward through 95% of the video the way she was speaking about her and her significant other, then she finally relented and said he at one point.

All of these hot indivuals want my character cuz my character has too much powerful rizz but I as the person have too much of an awkwardness so I feel really bad when I have to decline people cuz I already chose the partner for the playthrough 😂

i could have written this myself. absolutely agree. then on top of everything else the cosplay elements... not something i'm particularly into but worked brilliantly. so spot on without being over the top. The Githyanki makeup was barely there and yet completely captured the essence. The shadowheart again was minimal but completely worked and felt... right. Not in your face just the perfect amount to get it right. and the Astarion... well the same could be said for all of them.

After being an adult who's called mad and out of touch with reality because of getting into things, hearing "allow yourself harmless joy" got to me c':
Ah reality
The middle east where my family lives and there's a war going on right now which makes me insanely jittery and very anxious thinking about it.

Watching this blew my freaking mind. Not even exaggerating. I knew there was something special about this game, but just how special I couldn't even fathom. Larian has actually created true D&D gameplay in a digital medium. A creation like this can only come from a collective of minds with uncompromising love and passion for their work ❤
No, they really haven't lol. If you have ever played DnD you would not be saying that.
Some of that roleplaying potential and branching narrative becomes a lot more limited after Act 1, but it’s still an amazing game.
So proud of you for making the leap to full time content creator, Momo! Your joy is our joy

I've never seen your content before, but I love how you perfectly described everything about BG3 and why I love it. Thank you
Hou boy. Are you in for a very bizarre treat on my channel 😂 Thank you
I’ve been wanting a video on “how to make playing video games more fun” and this is EXACTLY what I was hoping for.
BG3 is a foreshadow of the synthesis of books, movies, and acting.
It is what DnD will be one day.
“I know everyone is in love with him but I can’t get over the fact that he is a gay man that hates me” is one of the best quotes I’ve heard in a while
as someone who played the game intending to romance him I still had the same sentiment
”And I, can fix him.”

Lae'Zel's storyline and Shadowheart's storyline I've done 3 times each and those are my favorite moments. It means so much to those characters and it has huge outcomes and development. BG3 is 100/10. I had over 200 hours in just the first month of release.

Immersion isn’t just getting sucked into an experience to where the real world around you washes away. It’s about becoming one with the story/characters and really feeling like you are part of the experience. The world feels real and alive. You can literally picture yourself in this fantasy setting. Words are not enough to express how much this game meant to me a lifelong gamer and tabletop player. Such a great game, a masterpiece that I'm truly happy to play.
i love you momo! your videos have given me so much comfort. please do not overwork yourself! you are amazing.
Love this game so much!
i missed this video when it first came out because I was too busy playing bg3 lol. great video

"Life is hard" This part of the video really spoke to my heart. Luckily, BG3 has been a salve.
As soon as I work out how to run it on my definitely not gaming laptop, I will be playing this game 🥰
can i just say how amazingly in depth momo goes in every video she makes? i have so much respect for this woman
I was casually watching the video and then you highlight "The Song"! I instantly pressed like. :)
I never expected a music video sequence there on the mountainside and it hit me right in the feels.
Notable Tiefling NPCs I would like to highlight that made me so immersed just made my playthrough so grand:
• Bex and Danis. A tiefling couple that wants to go to baldurs gate and live in a comfy house together with a cat ;w; the first thought i had in my head was I WANNA BE NEIGHBORS!!! I wanna live right next to them, share bread and wine, be there when they have a kid so i can spoil them too, i wanna be besties with them ;w; theyre such an adorable couple and I gagged when Act 2 separated them. I spent HOURS trying my best to save the tieflings from Moonrise and cried (a lot) when they reunited ;w;
• Dammon.
Saved Lakrissa from Moondussy towers and brought her back to the inn to see Lesbian Relief from Alfira when Lakrissa walked up to her, thats when i went 🤨"Gae~?" AND WAS CONFIRMED WHEN WE GOT TO BALDURS GATE AND ALFIRA IS ON TOP OF ELFSONG TAVERN LOOKING AT THE VIEW SAYING "Ill never get tired watching this view" and Lakrissa saying, "Me too" BUT SHES LOOKING AT ALFIRA AND I NEARLY PASSED OUT SQUEALING SJGDUSHSJHS
• Rolan, Cal and Lia. (With Larroakan's crumpled body still on the floor)
Playing as a Tiefling of Selune, Guiding these tieflings to their best fates has been so immersive to me.
If "Down By The River" does not win every Grammy, I will burn the entire world to ashes.
This was so heartwarming! I'm so happy Baldur's Gate 3 has been making so many people so happy!
I saw a comment that said that Asterion sounds like a grown up Stewie Griffin and now I can't unhear it
You convinced me, I'M BUYING BALDUR'S GATE 3. (I'll think about the financial implications later, happiness comes first)
my first Tav is based off my irl D&D tiefling warlock girlie! small town girl, on her first adventure, and of course it was love at first sight when wyll appeared (she has a habit of letting her head drift into the clouds of fairytale-romance books). when wyll's romance climax hit my playthrough, i let out the most ungodly screech of happiness knowing that my warlock girlie and wyll are engaged. this game will have a special place in my heart for years to come!

I could’ve just boosted CHR by 2 but I appreciated the extra spice, especially since we don’t have a bard.
this game is an absolute masterpiece, I had the same problem, Id get lost in the world, then look at the clock and its 5am
This is the video that made me realize what Tav meant. I’m like 80 hours in and thought I’d missed some vital companion somewhere that everyone else had gotten lol
BG3 truly is the game of a lifetime. The devs gave it so much love, I don't think we'll see another RPG with that level of depth any time soon.
Mo Mo's storytelling is so good! Thank u for sharing ur stories with us s2
This video is so rich and surprising and hilarious! Really awesome stuff!
as someone who always struggles with transitioning from one thing to another, your advice is soooo useful, getting into the mode to do smth is def a thing i need to take more time in.
I love Baldur's Gate 3 so much too. Very relatable.
I spent over 2 hours making my first character and it was actually worth it. I spent almost that much time making my Elden Ring Character, but then I hardly saw what my character looked like.
I can list the amount of games that made me have such a rollercoaster of emotions on one hand. This game is one of them.
Baldurs gate 3 grabbed literally everyone in our social circles and im okay with it entirely
I will always admire the hard work you put into your videos 💚💚
Thank you. I am stressed and tired. That means a lot.
Thank you!
This is a masterclass in storytelling 👏👏👏
I am in love with the messy structure of this video. It’s so fun and exciting
THERE'S NO WAY YOU'RE TAKING KAIRI'S HEART
BURNED into my brain
Everything you said about BG3 is how I feel about it. Especially the part where I Tried to romance everyone and... Everything...
Wow when she finally said "he" at one point my head exploded
Why?
@rosswilliam-gu7vo because she did she went so far out of her way to call herself and him "they, they're, they've, themselves, themselves" etc, through the whole video. Nothing wrong with it, I'm a liberal, just seemed very awkward through 95% of the video the way she was speaking about her and her significant other, then she finally relented and said he at one point.
Honestly mate who cares go smoke a blunt
The music is mainly what got me attached to the game. Definitely the best game soundtrack I’ve ever listened too.
