Took me a good while to realize how to swing on the grappling hooks.......I remembered being stuck in one room from when I was a kid and not knowing why.....then I replay it a decade later slamming my head against the wall; so to speak
You should make a top (however many) last dungeons. By last dungeons I don't mean the final dungeon in the entire game, but the last dungeon with an objective other than "kill the villain; save Hyrule/Termina/Lorule." For example, Palace of Winds, Stone Tower Temple, The Spirit Temple/Shadow Temple, Wind Temple, Fire Sanctuary, etc.
I do love this idea tho. If ever in the far future u guys got time you should consider it. Palace of the winds in Minish Cap and the Twilight Realm in TP got me thinking how great this list would be cuz there are so many great dungeons that qualify
I absolutely adore the First dungeon of Tp.since the game had such a long intro when you get to the dungeon the games Done holding your hand and let's you do the dungeon alone. It's comparable to most the other dungeons in the game even though it's the first
The dungeons deepwood shrine and the palace of wind are my favourite ones in minish cap and anyone who is a true Zelda fan must play this game I have played it over and over again just because it is such a huge game and link being just so small and tiny in this game just makes it stand out. XX
There are several reasons why I think Dragon Roost Cavern is the best 3D 1st dungeon: - it breaks from the traditional mold of having a forest-themed dungeon 1st - it has an interesting, unique item (Grappling Hook) - it has an unorthodox dungeon layout - it has indoor/outdoor areas - it introduces you to the awesome mechanic in this game that allows you to pick up enemy weapons - it has some very interesting, unique puzzles (i.e. having to break the pots to find the hiding Bokoblins, cutting the bridge ropes to fall down to the path below, throwing jugs of water on lava geysers to form temporary platforms, throwing a burning wooden stick across a room to light some wooden barrier on fire, etc.) - it has good amount of combat & surprise enemy attacks to keep you on your toes - you help a main character - it has very atmospheric music - it has an awesome, epic-looking 1st boss fight
I'm surprised that Dragon Roost wasn't on this list for those very reasons. However, I wonder if maybe there was just some controversy on whether or not it's the first dungeon since we visit Forsaken Fortress first, and while it's not exactly a true dungeon, it does introduce you the weapon stealing mechanics and it has a mini-boss fight at the end of it.
Twilight Princess was the first video game I ever played outside of party games like Wii Sports, and for an inexperienced Zelda player, it was awesome... and insanely difficult.
Awesome :) And that's interesting. We don't know many who played Twilight Princess as their first Zelda game, so we have no idea how the difficulty matches up with a new player like that.
I made the mistake of letting my best friend play TP as her first non-indie PC videogame. It was painful to watch! 😅 I honestly should’ve insisted she started with Windwaker to break her into 3D games (having your hands separated like that is a learning curve without also wrapping your brain around directing your character in a straight line or timing attacks)...which although Windwaker wasn’t my first Zelda, it was my first 3D Zelda as a kid
I am an experienced Zelda player and TP was insanely difficult in many areas for a long time. However now, very few areas are difficult and only one area is very difficult for me, due to a personal fear.
Yea Twilight Princess claiming names and taking charge! I love pretty much anything that's Zelda but that still doesn't mean I don't like seeing my favorite win competitions against its brethren. All good dungeon choices though. And I'd be curious to know who considers what dungeon to be Wind Waker's first.
Haha :) We think that if we'd like to place either the Forsaken Fortress or Dragon Roost Cavern on the list, we could just choose either of them. We feel it could be argued for and against both of these, but you can sometimes bend the rules. No one's gonna arrest you cause of something like this :P
Thank you for responding. :D I remember from the WW guide it considers the first dungeon to be Forsaken Fortress but doesn't feel like it to most people. I know my first play through I considered it Dragon Roost.
I ve beated it for the 1st time on emulator last week (without the left corner glitch against dark link) hard as hell from beginning to end, the only time I felt a zelda game resisted me so much was when I played ALttP for the 1st time
Dragon Roost Cavern and Woodfall are awesome. The one you fight Yuga in for the first time in A Link Between Worlds is pretty cool. The hardest part of Skyview was jumping from vine to vine for the boss key to me, it was a pain. I liked the dungeon though... But my favorite first dungeon is Hyrule Castle. Interesting mechanics and AWESOME MUSIC!
I really don't know what took me so long to subscribe, but I can ensure that you've earned it! I've seen plenty of content and I find it all very entertaining! I also love that you seem to give love to every Zelda game instead of just the same 2 or 3 like other Zelda channels. Good job, Owners!
Haha, thank you! We really appreciate it :) We do what we can. Sometimes a few games dominate more than others (the 3D ones, for example), but we do our best to see what every game has to offer.
its kinda sad that your channel doesnt have more subscribers, considering how great your content is, Keep it up Owners Of Triforce, definitley one of my favorite youtube channels
Awesome! Could you guys do a top 5 zelda endings? :D Obviously based on your guys' experiences and opinions, perhaps kinda like your top 10 zelda moments (the way you made that list)
*In response to the comment you left for me last time* Take your time guys! Also, here are some idea's that would be fun to watch. Breath of the Wild related of course. "Best Themes", "Best Bosses", "Best Dungeons", "A video where you talk about what you guys like and don't like about the game. What you rate it as.", and definitely, "Favorite Moments." Hope you guys take this into consideration! Good Luck!
I love skyview temple. It's atmospheric, looks great and has the GOD DAMN BEETLE! There's even a replayability aspect in that they add new enemies when you come back later. But I'll be honest, I got stuck for like 20 minutes trying to find something on the map IIRC lol
Haha :) Yeah, it is a good dungeon, and we're also glad to hear that you like having to go back there. I don't know why everyone needs to be done with a place after the first time they've been there. I like it when you return to a familiar place to discover something completely new or having another objective! - Owner 1
Twilight Princess was my first 3D dungeon. I did not have an N64 or GameCube growing up so the Wii was my first foray into 3D games. I completely agree with how the Forest Temple just throws you in without any much of a tutorial because of the super long starting sequence. After dealing with the beginning and wondering "am I going to have a dungeon now?" this dungeon didn't disappoint and I remember dying several times.
It's been a while Owners! How's Breath of the Wild? I have just beaten all 120 shines on Easter! I think the story is pretty good, and the gameplay is AMAZING!!! Can't wait for your long awaited return!
Pretty good :) I beat the main story a great while ago, and I did all 120 Shrines myself over a week ago. It was a lot of fun, for sure :) Owner 2 has taken down 3 beasts, and he's taking it kinda slow, cause we're both super busy in the coming month. It'll still be over a month until we can make any videos... - Owner 1
I mostly agree with your list. I only would take the dragonroost cavern instead of the deku tree, because I love the atmosphere and the ideas of this dungeon. It's so different to every other (mostly forest themed) first dungeon in the series. :D Great video as always guys! ^^
5. Skyview Temple - Skyward Sword, 4. Parapa Palace - Adventure of Link, 3. Spirit's Grave, 2. Eastern Palace - A Link to the Past, 1. Tail Cave - Adventure of Link. I'm a little late to your videos this time around; I didn't have reliable access to Internet for a while. I can't be mad though; today I asked a girl out to Prom and she said yes! 😊
great video, like always:D I also like the temple of the ocean king, even though it's very short, you meet lineback, who is one of the most important people in PH and you also enter a place, that you'll have to visit more often than you thought. It also introduces you more to the story, which I really enjoyed. You have to tell me what BotW is like, I have to buy it, but I haven't got enough money yet xD. I wish you much fun while playing it!:D
Yeah, but we're not really counting Temple of the Ocean King for a list like this. Both that and Tower of Spirits also acted as a final dungeon in their own games, so they'll appear on the ranking there :) BotW is a lot of fun! It's very different in many ways, but we're enjoying it a lot so far :D
TheOwnersOfTriforce by the way thanks for giving my favorite child Link dungeon in ocarina of Time the credit it deserves I love the great Deku Tree dungeon
TheOwnersOfTriforce the forest Temple in Twilight Princess is my second favorite dungeon of the game I love the atmosphere and the boss is pretty good too
Awesome list. I liked the forest temple in twilight princess, but those monkeys drove me crazy!!! Also how did you upload after breath of the wild comes out? I can't stop playing it!!! I already have over 30 hours and I'm still nowhere in the story... Found a giant horse that looks like Ganon's though lol
Thanks! What was the problem with the monkeys? We loved that about the dungeon :P Oh, and we had most of the work already done before the game came out :P
I didn't so much have a problem with the monkeys as much as I had a bad experience since they made constant noise and my parents kept telling me to turn down the volume because of it.
@@crashthebandicrash3357 Really? Compared to Link's vocalization and the sound effects the monkeys are not loud at all. I could usually only hear them when standing still and doing nothing. So much so that I initially missed it when I had them all and they were urging me to follow them.
I know you aren't looking for suggestions, but I do have a few for you: -Top 10 Hardest Dungeons -Top 10 Worst Dungeons (Can't have the good without the bad) -Top 10 Areas Hope to see more from you guys soon. :)
Good list, guys. I thought the Woodfall Temple would appear on the list, and when number 1 was the Forest Temple from Twilight Princess, you guys surprised me in a good way. Through my own experience with this dungeon, I though it was confusing, took me a couple of days to get through it. Playing through the game again, I went through it in at least 1-2 hours. I said this before in your top 10 Unique Items, but you guys find a way to surprise with your videos and content. And I like the guys for that. Last week, I wrote my boss ranking on Twilight Princess, it's a a little long, maybe too long, but I just wanted to let you know in case you didn't look at it. I waited patiently because I know how busy you guys can be.
Thanks :) Oh, thanks for reminding us. We have seen it but sometimes we can't respond right away, and the comments might get lost/we forget about them. We'll get back to it soon if I can remember :p It's just that responding to long comments like that require some time when many people do it. - Owner 1
+TheOwnersOfTriforce It's ok :) As I said, I know how busy you can be, especially with Breath of the Wild out, and long comments. I never intended to have my list be long, but I was giving my personal opinion and experience of the bosses, but you get done with what you need to do and I'll keep my eyes open for you guys and your comment on my ranking. By the way, did you know that Breath of the Wild is the last game for the Nintendo Wii U?
Great vid guys! My favourite on this list is actually Skyview Temple because of the ambience and I also like the almost "Avatar-look" the dungeon has... Of course there's a special love for the Deku Tree because it being the first dungeon we got a crack at in OoT, Forest Temple in TP was cool too and I like the monkeys they added :P And I totally understand why you guys are busy, I'm playing myself and the things I could say about this game (which of course I'm not going to) But thanks to the boyfriend I've been forced to both socialise AND eat :P This game is gonna be the death of me, actually it has--- several times :P
You can tell that the Owners' are really invested in Breath of the Wild because the last video they uploaded was from right before the game came out. 😆 (I would probably devote all of my time into it too if I had the game and a Switch.)
This is a good list and you guys make some good, logical points. 1-Deepwood Shrine-This is a good, complex dungeon with a lot of neat mechanics, puzzles, a fast paced mini-boss and a fun, useful item. 2-Forest Temple (TP)-I didn't appreciate the complexity and challenge of this place at first. But after subsequent playthroughs I really came to love it. 3-Woodfall-I love the eerie atmosphere, the energetic boss and the music. Getting to Woodfall isn't much fun though. 4-Parappa Palace-Its not a tutorial dungeon, but its not hard to navigate, even without a map, the music gives it a dangerous feel and the challenge and boss are just right. 5-Eastern Palace (ALBW) Its a good tutorial. It gives you plenty of time to get used to the new mechanic and has some neat puzzles.
If I can share my personal opinion, I think Spirit's Grave is my favorite first dungeon in the series. Firstly, I think it's the only first dungeon in the series that's actually a shadow dungeon, which makes it a lot more unique than most of the others, which after OoT were pretty much exclusively forest dungeons, except for the one or two times where you began with a fire dungeon; even then, you usually go through a fire dungeon pretty early, though not always. But what's even more surprising is that it's actually _competent_ as a shadow dungeon, having the same spooky vibe and a lot of creepy themes that came with the likes of Explorer's Crypt or Earth Temple, though it wasn't as intense as Shadow Temple or Ancient Cistern. In other words, it's one of the only Oracle dungeon to nail down a unique atmosphere that distinguishes it from all the rest. Only a few other Oracle dungeons (Dancing Dragon, Sword and Shield Maze, Skull Dungeon, Jabu Jabu's Belly, Ancient Tomb, that's about it) managed to pull that off. But even if you ignore that, it's still quite fun even as a first dungeon. It's got a fairly complex design with the circular flow to the order you visit each room, and unlike Gnarled Root, it's not immediately obvious where to go or to explore. You can find quite a few secrets and the puzzles are interesting too. Eastern Palace from aLttP gets points for me for this too, but because of the atmosphere I prefer Spirit's Grave by far.
Of course you can share you personal opinion :) Ah, that's a cool point about it being shadow themed! I haven't played that dungeon in a long time myself, so I don't remember everything about it, but it's cool that you find it that great :) Thanks for sharing! - Owner 1
hey owners just wanted to say you made a great video! keep up the great work ! my favorite first dungeon was twilight princess too. I don't have breath of the wild or a switch yet and I want to have no spoilers so sorry if I don't watch the breath of the wild vids. anyway keep up the great work!
@@icecreamjunkie6790 Meh. It was pretty damn forgettable to me. The build-up was much more memorable than the actual dungeon. It had a cool mini-boss fight though. But at least it wasn't a bad dungeon, unlike some 1st dungeons. Inside the Great Deku Tree was pretty bland, but at least it had the super memorable & cool jump from the top down to the bottom through the Skulltula web. But I think Skyview Temple was probably the worst of the worst. I was already feeling very annoyed, frustrated, & fed up with SS with how much the intro just dragged & dragged & dragged on with its cutscenes, exposition, dialogue, tutorials, & BS padding, like that dumb Kikwi search, but then as soon as I was so anxious to start the 1st dungeon & anticipated some great dungeon gameplay to relieve some frustration, I quickly realized it was more tedious, boring gameplay. I kept waiting for it to get better, but once I got to the end, I was like, "...that's it??" It was massively disappointing & just left, a bad, bad, BAD taste in my mouth. It wasn't until Lanayru Mining Facility that I actually started to enjoy SS. Thankfully, SS had a great middle 1/3 of the game & Skykeep along with the final showdown was fun, because otherwise, the horrible, HORRIBLE 1st 1/3 of the game, the annoying padding/filler, dumb Imprisoned fights, & Fi's annoying, interrupting Captain Obvious ass would have made it one of my least favorite Zelda games. Skyview Temple is already one of the worst Zelda dungeons by its own merit, but it makes it even worse that it followed such a monotonous intro & provided no relief from it. Most 1st dungeons aren't very memorable, but Dragon Roost Cavern just left such a vast impression on me when I first played it & really hooked me into WW becoming my favorite Zelda game. I just loved the ominous atmosphere, the extremity/dangerousness of it, the vertical nature of it, all the creative things, like throwing a flaming stick across the room to burn wood, cutting the strings to a wooden bridge to fall down to the path below, enemies hiding in pots, cliff scaling, grappling hooks, menacing giant scorpion boss, etc., etc.
I believe the Wind Waker makes it hard to create this list...is Forsaken Fortress the first dungeon or Dragon Roost Cavern? However, my top 5: 5: Woodfall Temple - MM 4: Inside the Deku Tree - OOT 3: Skyview Temple - SS 2: Forest Temple - TP 1: Forsaken Fortress or Dragon Roost Cavern - WW I've noticed that you're less a fan of the dungeons in windwaker, but I'm completely in love with the earlier part of the game. You have no sea chart, barely learned all controls and boom: you're literally thrown into the most dangerous place in the great sea. The start of this game is SO different. Even if Dragon Roost Cavern were to be considered the first dungeon, I'd pick it to top the list. I never forget how I felt when I saw that huge lava column in the big room, awesome. Apart from this nr.1, I fully agree with the list. Great job, again. Now, I'm falling in love again with the new Zelda game :) I haven't done much yet but this might very well become the best Zelda game I ever played...
Heh, yeah, kinda. Neither of them made it, but we could choose either of them as a "first" dungeon for some reason, we believe :p Good list, and you actually did want to have WW at #1, huh? :) That's cool, and you explain well why you would do that. Thanks :) I'm not sure if it's my new #1 game in the series, but it's been really good so far :D - Owner 1
Do also note that the Forest Temple has the most interesting dungeon layout among the Twilight Princess dungeons. Mark Brown's Boss Keys has details as to how.
Pika250 I don't know, both the City in the Sky and Snowpeak Ruins have very interesting and a little more creative designs. At least, that's how I see it.
The Great Deku Tree - You mean to tell me, all these years I've been trying to light a torch in that room, run out, pass the spider, jump down, and burn the web away and I didn't have to? L M A O
Oh, yaaay, the super Skyward Sword biased dude is back... xD You think we're scared of you?? Joking xD But come on, it made the list. That should be more than enough ;)
Hey, Owners. Been a while since watching this video. How are you enjoying Breath of the Wild so far? Speaking of which, I may play it sometime in the future, but not now, because I want to go through the other 4 3D Zelda games, before considering this game. I say 3D only because I am not really interested in playing the 2D games. I found a Collector's edition for the GameCube, have Skyward Sword, and now looking for The Wind Waker.
I loved Skyview temple, but that is because of the preceding area. Damn, the Faron woods had such a terrible pacing. In the end I was like: " Just get to the damn dungeon already". And when I finally got there, the music, the atmosphere, the puzzles and the item made me game-gasm completely.
For the first dungeons, I prefer ones you get to right away ( 1st Zelda, Deku Tree, Hyrule Castle in LTTP, Tail Cave). While I love Woodfall, Dragon Roost, TP Forest Temple etc there are hours of questing to do beforehand, especially the mandatory Wolf Link parts. Ugh. I like the get up and go aspect of them where you get in, get a hang of the game and then you go on the "real" journey. I would of topped my list with Deku Tree until you mentioned Deepwood Shrine, freaking love that one!
I prefer the more gradual feel of Twilight Princess. It really helps make it feel less like a game and more like a real adventure. The early wolf parts are actually my favorite part of the entire game and I would actually wish they were longer. That it was a much harder struggle to get Midna's trust. Making those parts mandatory was the right decision because it helps connect people closer to Link. He is helpless and confused so they made sure the player is like that as well.
Of course I'd place Skyview Temple higher, but I'm glad TP and OoT were up there. ALBW was a nice one too. I'm a big fan of getting Zelda out of the dungeon in ALttP.
Come one, come all, to the amazing Psychic Jackson! I can predict anything that's on your mind. As proof, I have already predicted that the Forest Temple in TP was gonna be #1. Don't be shy!
@@CrysisOwnsHalo it was quite difficult for a first dungeon not like other games and I wasn't familiar with the controls so the fights were also interesting xD and the fight against Ghirahim was also really good not like other first dungeon bosses (*cough* great deku tree). The music also made even better but I respect your opinion :D
I would personally swap #5 and #2. Unfortunately, I've never played Minish Cap, but I want to so bad now, because that game looks beautiful. BTW, do you think your next countdown will be based on Breath of the Wild?
That's fine :) You should give it a try if you have the chance! And we have no idea. We haven't finished the game yet, and there's still a lot we want to explore before we decide which kinds of videos we'll make.
Now, do the Top Ganondorf/Ganon battles in zelda. I'd like to see that. Also me and my older brother are also playing Breath of the Wild. It's so addicting!
I haven't played Skyward Sword or Minish Cap yet, but I totally agree with Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time's placement. MM just because of sheer difficulty (it is a HARD first dungeon) and how it basically tells the player this isn't gonna be like anything else the series has put forth before. OoT because of how important it was for virtually every other dungeon on this list, and it's very fun even though it's easy nowadays. I don't quite agree with Twilight Princess at Number one, but that may just be my general bias against it and I have to say, it had some good dungeons. Anyways, great list, and I look forward to hopefully getting a Switch and playing Breath of the Wild this weekend!
Yes, Woodfall Temple is a pretty tough first dungeon. We agree, the Deku Tree is still fun :) Oh, what kind of bias do you have against TP? Good luck to you! Hope you get the system and the game, and that you enjoy it :)
I have a lot of things I don't like about TP. In general I think it's a good game, but the opening was poorly paced, I have problems with underused game mechanics and items, dungeons, while, like I said, are generally good, are either really easy or stupidly hard (at least for me), I think Ganondorf was a bit shoehorned in as a villain, stuff like that. I do like the music, Midna, a lot of the items and dungeons, and the art design, so it's not a bad game to me by any stretch.
Well, we feel differently there, and we thought Ganondorf fit right in there :) You have at least made good points for why you don't like the game as much as others, and we definitely respect that :)
you guys should make theories you guys seem knowledgeable enough about the series that you can find something everybody else missed and maybe get the community talking. But it's up to you
It's a cool suggestion, and we appreciate the compliment here, but we don't really give much thought about theories and such. We never really delve deep into stuff like that, so we feel videos like that would fall pretty short if we tried. Besides, we're jut not that interested anyway. Thanks anyway :)
Not necessarily, but it is fun to think like that :) Many people also speculate that Bongo Bongo's behind the drum beat in the Shadow Temple music. It's kinda fun to imagine things like that, either if it's true or not :)
I reckon my list would be something like; 1. Dragon Roost Cavern 2. Skyview Temple 3. Woodfall 4. Deku Tree 5. Deepwood Shrine Kind of like your list, but I wasn't a fan of the Forest Temple in Twilight Princess because it kind of felt... weak as an actual dungeon. It was in the middle of the elongated tutorial, so felt more like a weird mini-dungeon to me. I also feel like Dragon Roost Cavern and Skyview Temple had better atmosphere and taught the game's ideas better than that of Majoras Mask's or Ocarina's.
Really? We think Forest Temple is a REAL dungeon compared to most of the others on the list :P I'm not sure if I would agree that Dragon Roost Island taught stuff better than Inside the Deku Tree and such, but.. yeah, we have different opinions :)
1) fantastic dungeon. 2) it's my favorite. 3) I like this dungeon about 89%. But the music is weird for me. I would like to go with Wooded Temple from Spirit Tracks. 4)not really my favorite. Also, it's more easier than Dragon Roost Cavern from the wind waker. 5) I like it, but the skulltula sometimes it scares me. here's the list of my favorite first Zelda dungeons:
1) Dragon Roost Cavern 2) Skyview Temple 3) Wooded Temple spirit tracks. 4) i would go with forest temple the first dungeon of adult Link vesion from ocarina of Time. 5) forest temple twilight princess. I like it because of the dungeon itself not because of the monkey mission.
Good list, although we don't count the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time for this list. We're only thinking of the very first dungeons of each game :) Thanks!
Suggestion: I think you should make a list of your top 10 zelda games... also: WHERE IS BREATH OF THE WILD DUNGEON RANKING?!?!!???!!? And: WHY HAVENT YOU ALREADY UPDATED YOUR TOP 10 COOLEST CHARACTERS LIST TO INCLUDE PRINCE SIDON IN THE NUMBER 1 SPOT???!!!??!!!?
Sorry i haven't been here at the start i was buzy playing botw so yea, how is botw owners? 5) yea this one is such a good dungeon for the first one, becouse it doesn't feel like a tutorial and its challenging 4) i honestly loved this dungeon it has geat puzzles and the boss is amazing cuz its just a normal chu chu 3) ehh i'm not really a fan of this dungeon but i must say they do use the deku mask good 2) yes the first dungeon of my favorite game of all time, but it was too easy, but i loved the boss gohma and it kinda became a thing in zelda games after that 1) ehh i mean i liked the monkey mechanic but i didn't feel like i was having too much fun, and i just find myself thinking: i wish i was at the other dungeons, but i guess its okay Anyway great list, cya another time guys! Have fun with botw I know i will xD
It's awesome! :) 5) Yup. 4) Right? People always complain about the boss "just" being a regular ChuChu. We think that idea is really good! 3) But...it's a great dungeon :P 2) It really is easy, but still did things really well. 1) Dude... ;) Thanks, you too! :P
You guys should do a breath of the wild vid soon! i can't wait XD. Also Vah Medoh was a good first dungeon i chose to do first in Breath of the wild. Also ive been playing that game for 2 weeks straight now so im obsessed with it.
If you'd just check the list sorted with the newest videos first, then you'd just have to look for five older videos down the line to find our Top 5 First Bosses video...
I realised after i posted that you had made a top 5. Just thought it be nice to see a full ranking, nvm. Love your videos though, can't wait to see some breath of the wild stuff
Oh, alright :p We won't make a full ranking, though. Thank you very much! It will take a while before we start making the videos, so please be patient :)
please don t hate, especially for number 1 10: Eastern Palace (assuming its the first dungeon in ALttP) 9: Fire temple (Phantom hourglass) 8: Inside great deku tree 7: Hyrule castle (assuming its the first dungeon in ALttP) 6: Deepwood Shrine 5: Forest temple (TP) 4: Woodfall temple 3: Dragon roost cavern (assuming its the 1st dungeon in Wind Waker) 2: Skyview temple 1: forsa... oh my god I forgot something, wait a second (puts on magical armor) (Casts Nayru's love) (Presses mirror shield button) 1: Forsaken fortress (assuming it is the first dungeon in Wind Waker)
There's no reason for us to hate :P We like the Forsaken Fortress, no biggie! Of course it's arguable which one's really the first dungeon, but we're not blaming you.
I've done all 4 beasts and gone through Hyrule Castle. Last time I spoke to Owner 2, he had finished 3 of the beasts. We've made great progress, but videos won't come out anytime soon. We have a lot of busy times ahead :/ - Owner 1
But i won't tell you what my favorite beast is because i don't want spoilers but i will rank them when or if the dungeon ranking video for botw comes out
Hey guys. It´s been a while huh? Anyway... I found skyward´s sword one alright. The puzzles and enemies were ok. It was a nice way to get people used to the motion controls. The beetle was pretty great tho, even if it was sloooow. To be honest that was the only dungeon y could finish when I first started playing zelda and I was four. I have good memories of it. It´s still fun. Majora´s Mask temple was alright. I mean, it was the first out of four, so meh. It introduced elements, but it didn´t feel like any type of tutorial, more like another side quest. I feel dragonroost should have been here, as many others pointed out. Deku tree was memorable. It was the first ever 3d dungeon. And it´s Ocarina of Time. So yeah, many will remember it, and it was a great tutorial. No surprise with Twilight princess. I remember a long time ago we discussed this in the TP lists of dungeons. It was pretty great. I´ve been away for a good while, and i feel like i need to apologize. So sorry about that... Also, I´ll check out some stuff i missed in due time. And since i won´t be getting Breath of the Wild for almost a year, I´ll skip any video, like i´ve been doing for the past week. You´ve grown a lot guys, it´s great. It may be a bit late, but congratulations. You deserved it.
Yeah, wow! Almost didn't recognize you without the picture of Pit! :P We were streaming earlier, and we asked where you have been these last few...years, I guess? Welcome back :) You have good opinions on the dungeons, but I really didn't get what you mean with Woodfall Temple being "another sidequest"? It's a really solid dungeon :) No apology needed! We all have lives outside of UA-cam :) Do that if you feel like it. Aw, hope you manage to avoid spoilers and enjoy the game then :) Yeah, it's crazy :p Thanks! Good to see you again! - Owner 1
TheOwnersOfTriforce TheOwnersOfTriforce Oh yeah. Pit with the sacred armor or whatever. And well, a lot happened since then. I've changed quite a bit. My Zelda opinions are more or less the same though. And oops. I didn't express myself correctly there. I meant that it teaches you nothing, except the fairy sidequest (which is a pain in the ass and I skipped almost completely). The tutorial was the beggining and reaching there. it's a cool dungeon and even if it's not one I really remember, I don't disagree with your choice. And thanks. Enjoy the game as well. I've been hearing a lot 9-10/10, so it must be awesome.
Hehe, yeah :P It really has been a few years, hasn't it? It might not teach much in general gameplay, but you do get to use the Bow in good ways, and the bow is super important to the dungeons in this game, obviously. Then there's also the Mask transformations that you'll also use a lot in the game, but like we said in the video, you do get to use it a bit before this as well. The critics really seem to love it. Some super Zelda fans seem to disagree a bit with the scores, but we really enjoy it so far :)
Yet you guys still answer back to every comment that isn´t a meme. Good job. And yup. There´s clever stuff in there with the bow. But then again, in OoC it was very important as well (actually, in every zelda game ever, but you know, 3d-wise).
I personally like dragonroost cavern becuase its a fire temple at the first dungeon basically. Also the grappling hook is one of my favorite items.
Took me a good while to realize how to swing on the grappling hooks.......I remembered being stuck in one room from when I was a kid and not knowing why.....then I replay it a decade later slamming my head against the wall; so to speak
That's cool :D
That's exactly why I really like Spirit's Grave. A fire dungeon for first is cool and all, but a shadow dungeon up first is practically unheard of.
TheOwnersOfTriforce I love inside the Deku Tree ocarina of Time because it's so cool being inside a tree and Gohma is cool too
TheOwnersOfTriforce I just got Breath of the Wild awesome game my brother and I have played it none stop
We probably won't. We have other plans and not much time.
I do love this idea tho. If ever in the far future u guys got time you should consider it. Palace of the winds in Minish Cap and the Twilight Realm in TP got me thinking how great this list would be cuz there are so many great dungeons that qualify
And some that definitely wouldn’t be on the list like Turtle Rock in A Link to the Past
what Zelda game has a "Sanctuary" dungeon?
Bob Freukes the fire sanctuary from skyward sword
I absolutely adore the First dungeon of Tp.since the game had such a long intro when you get to the dungeon the games Done holding your hand and let's you do the dungeon alone. It's comparable to most the other dungeons in the game even though it's the first
Yeah, that's why we like it that much too :)
Inazuma Pyrax I like that dungeon too for many reasons I love the forest atmosphere and the boss is pretty cool as well
Inazuma Pyrax nooo you changed your profile pic :( I liked your old one.
SO glad you mentioned the scale of size when you mentioned Minish Cap's first dungeon. That big Chu Chu did put things in perspective for the player.
Indeed!
The dungeons deepwood shrine and the palace of wind are my favourite ones in minish cap and anyone who is a true Zelda fan must play this game I have played it over and over again just because it is such a huge game and link being just so small and tiny in this game just makes it stand out. XX
There are several reasons why I think Dragon Roost Cavern is the best 3D 1st dungeon:
- it breaks from the traditional mold of having a forest-themed dungeon 1st
- it has an interesting, unique item (Grappling Hook)
- it has an unorthodox dungeon layout
- it has indoor/outdoor areas
- it introduces you to the awesome mechanic in this game that allows you to pick up enemy weapons
- it has some very interesting, unique puzzles (i.e. having to break the pots to find the hiding Bokoblins, cutting the bridge ropes to fall down to the path below, throwing jugs of water on lava geysers to form temporary platforms, throwing a burning wooden stick across a room to light some wooden barrier on fire, etc.)
- it has good amount of combat & surprise enemy attacks to keep you on your toes
- you help a main character
- it has very atmospheric music
- it has an awesome, epic-looking 1st boss fight
Actually, I think you learn how to pick up enemy weapons in the forsaken fortress(if that's the name)
@@HFoxy The boss of the Time Temple, the giant spider?
No problem, that's what we do ;) Exactly. I guess they're both acceptable for this list in some ways.
8 : Fire temple (PH)
7 : Inside great deku tree
6 : Deepwood shrine
5 : Parapa palace
4 : Skyview temple
3 : Dragon roost cavern
2 : Forest temple (TP)
1 : Woodfall Temple
Good list :) Even the Zelda II dungeon? That's something we don't see often :P
I ve beated it for the 1st time on emulator last week (without the left corner glitch against dark link) hard as hell from beginning to end, the only time I felt a zelda game resisted me so much was when I played ALttP for the 1st time
Yann Malfrait It took me more than 7 hours to reach the 3rd palace... I dont understand how youtubers manage to beat the whole game within 3 hours
Mina The Vampire Actually, most youtubers use save states and only record their last attempt, that s why they seem to beat the game so fast
Phenomenal video yet again! I love how you have honest criticism of each dungeon, and that adds to the video quality. Congrats on 7,000 subs!
Thanks, and thanks again :D
I just really wanted to say this: I could probably listen to both of you speak for hours. Your voices are blessings.
Haha, wow, really? That was unexpected. Thank you very much, we appreciate that :D
Hahahaha, they're all forest dungeons!
I love the list you both make on The Legend of Zelda and cant wait for the lists on Breath of the Wild! So far its such a fun game!
Thank you :) Yeah, we've been really enjoying it as well! You'll have to be patient, though... we're really busy nowadays :(
TheOwnersOfTriforce Oh no, please dont worry about it and take all the time you both need!
Perfection takes time after all ^u^
Thanks for your kindness :)
Cool choices :) Yeah, Hyrule Castle definitely has one of the best pieces of music in the entire series :D
We really appreciate it :)
We do what we can.
Maybe, maybe not. We other things to prioritize also :P
Forest temple of Twilight Princess is great!
Good Luck!
I remember getting stuck at the first eye on the wall for a while in SS
Arthur Jeux me too, didnt understood, even with the vision of this stone next to the school :)
Hope you figured it out before you got too frustrated :P
I can't believe you guys already have 7000 subs I remember when you guys just had 200. I'm glad you're get the credit you deserve :D
Yeah, your name is familiar! It's hard to remember all the subscribers from back then, but I think I remember you. Thank you very much :D

Just found your page a little while ago, been enjoying a lot of your videos
Awesome, thanks for letting us know! :)
Favourite pieces of Triforce countdown...

Been following you guys from the beginning. Your english sounds a lot better. Keep up the good work. Excellent quality videos!
You have? That's awesome. And thank you very much! Appreciate it, dude :)
- Owner 1
Haha like I keep returning to your videos I've already been to!
That's awesome xD It's nice if they're actually re-watchable!
oh, and congrats on 7k subs :)
Great video as always guys! ^^
Me too, my list would be exactly like theirs, only Dragon roost cavern instead of Deku tree...
That's true, and that's a fine choice :)
Good list :) Oh, that's awesome! Hope you guys have fun :D
TheOwnersOfTriforce Thank you so much, it was very fun, and thank you for the compliment. It's so nice to be back on the Internet. 😊
Glad to hear it :) Cool to see you back on the Internet too!
great video, like always:D I also like the temple of the ocean king, even though it's very short, you meet lineback, who is one of the most important people in PH and you also enter a place, that you'll have to visit more often than you thought.
You just earned a sub! I really like your videos lol
I love the Eastern Palace a link to the past
We know ;)
TheOwnersOfTriforce lol sorry I just love the game so much and it's a great dungeon to start the game off with
TheOwnersOfTriforce by the way thanks for giving my favorite child Link dungeon in ocarina of Time the credit it deserves I love the great Deku Tree dungeon
TheOwnersOfTriforce the forest Temple in Twilight Princess is my second favorite dungeon of the game I love the atmosphere and the boss is pretty good too
TheOwnersOfTriforce how do you feel about the forest Temple in Twilight Princess I love it it's one of my favorite dungeons in the whole game
7k!!?? This channel is growing fast!
Good list owners ❤️💪🏼💪🏼🎉
Annick Meandchoc aww yeeeaaahhhh
It's insane, huh? :P
XD what did you name the "ganon horse" or did you at all? (note: i haven't played it :( so idk anything....)
Thanks! What was the problem with the monkeys? We loved that about the dungeon :P Oh, and we had most of the work already done before the game came out :P
I named it Ganon XD I know, not very creative.
I know you aren't looking for suggestions, but I do have a few for you:
-Top 10 Hardest Dungeons
-Top 10 Worst Dungeons (Can't have the good without the bad)
-Top 10 Areas
Hope to see more from you guys soon.
We're glad you understand and can be patient about that :) Yes, we know.
+TheOwnersOfTriforce It's the kind of guy I am. It sucks that there's no more Wii U games after this game.
HELP saria's song is in my head 3 days already RIP
You don't get rid of that one THAT easily :P
Play it backwards for the Song of Healing to heal you
Great vid guys! My favourite on this list is actually Skyview Temple because of the ambience and I also like the almost "Avatar-look" the dungeon has... Of course there's a special love for the Deku Tree because it being the first dungeon we got a crack at in OoT, Forest Temple in TP was cool too and I like the monkeys they added :P
And I totally understand why you guys are busy, I'm playing myself and the things I could say about this game (which of course I'm not going to) But thanks to the boyfriend I've been forced to both socialise AND eat :P This game is gonna be the death of me, actually it has--- several times :P
Thanks :) Cool thoughts on those 3 dungeons.
Haha! Stay healthy and enjoy the game! ;D
Really good this channel is so under rated
Thank you very much :)
You can tell that the Owners' are really invested in Breath of the Wild because the last video they uploaded was from right before the game came out. 😆
(I would probably devote all of my time into it too if I had the game and a Switch.)
Well, there's that and a lot of other things in our personal lives that keep us busy.
Thanks, good list! :) Interesting opinions and points you make.
Damn your sub count just keeps getting higher! Congratulations! 👍
Yeah, it's insane xD
You should do pre-dungeon areas for games
I haven't played that dungeon in a long time myself, so I don't remember everything about it, but it's cool that you find it that great :) Thanks for sharing!

know you guys have 7k! holy shit, your guys' channel is growing fast! 0_0
5. Inside the Deku Tree
4. Dragon Roost Cavern
3. SkyView Temple
2. Woodfall Temple
1. Forest Temple (Twilight Princess)
Congrats on 7k!
Thanks :)

hey owners just wanted to say you made a great video! keep up the great work ! my favorite first dungeon was twilight princess too. I don't have breath of the wild or a switch yet and I want to have no spoilers so sorry if I don't watch the breath of the wild vids. anyway keep up the great work!
Thanks :) Don't worry, it's gonna take a while before we even get to make those videos.
I gotta say Dragon Roost Cavern is far & beyond my favorite 3D 1st dungeon. I really like Deepwood Shrine too.
They're both really good!
I love Dragon Roost Cavern. It’s my second favorite first dungeon (other than Twilight Princess’s Forest Temple).
However, my top 5:
5: Woodfall Temple - MM
4: Inside the Deku Tree - OOT
3: Skyview Temple - SS
2: Forest Temple - TP
1: Forsaken Fortress or Dragon Roost Cavern - WW
I've noticed that you're less a fan of the dungeons in windwaker, but I'm completely in love with the earlier part of the game.
Neither of them made it, but we could choose either of them as a "first" dungeon for some reason, we believe :p
Good list, and you actually did want to have WW at #1, huh? :) That's cool, and you explain well why you would do that.
Thanks :) I'm not sure if it's my new #1 game in the series, but it's been really good so far :D
- Owner 1
You guys are my favourite youtubers, so I'm curious when more videos are coming out? Sorry, I'm not rushing you guys, I'm just worried
Nice list. I would have included Level 1 from the very first Zelda game (Eagle) as well. =)
Thanks, and that's cool :)
Do also note that the Forest Temple has the most interesting dungeon layout among the Twilight Princess dungeons. Mark Brown's Boss Keys has details as to how.
Pika250
I don't know, both the City in the Sky and Snowpeak Ruins have very interesting and a little more creative designs. At least, that's how I see it.
5) Inside the Deku Tree
4) Woodfall Temple
3) Forest Temple (TP)
2) Deepwood Shrine
1) Skyview Temple
HM) Dragon Roost Cavern
Good list! :)
I was hoping that twilight princesses forest temple would be #1 but I didn't think it would be. I'm quite shocked and really happy :D
"Shocked"? We love the dungeons in that game. If you knew that, you shouldn't be shocked at all :) Glad you're happy, though! :D
The Great Deku Tree - You mean to tell me, all these years I've been trying to light a torch in that room, run out, pass the spider, jump down, and burn the web away and I didn't have to? L M A O
Im expecting Skywiew Temple here Owners! Don´t dissapoint me now...
Number 5.. hmm...
You´ll get away with it this time
Vincent Jablonski I mean it wasn't to great, so i think it fits in comparison to the others, especially since I played them all
Oh, yaaay, the super Skyward Sword biased dude is back... xD
You think we're scared of you??
Joking xD But come on, it made the list. That should be more than enough ;)
TheOwnersOfTriforce where is my top ten Zelda animals/races?
Don't know. If it's yours, then you should know where it is ;)
I like the video but I hard disagree with the forest temple in TP, i used to get lost so much in there! Great video despite our disputes haha
just found this channel. about to go watch all his vids
Hah, awesome :p Hope you enjoy!
Congrats on 7K guys!
Thanks :D
0:30 20 Rupees for the Great Deku Tree being number 1
Hey, Owners. Been a while since watching this video. How are you enjoying Breath of the Wild so far? Speaking of which, I may play it sometime in the future, but not now, because I want to go through the other 4 3D Zelda games, before considering this game. I say 3D only because I am not really interested in playing the 2D games. I found a Collector's edition for the GameCube, have Skyward Sword, and now looking for The Wind Waker.
I have always been OBSESSED with Minish Cap!!! But my gameboy is broken and I don't have the charger anymore so I can't play it!!! 😭
Aww, that's too bad :(
Oh no! :( I bet you could find one for cheap somewhere though. Minish Cap is a great game.
Buy another Gameboy and then play minish cap you will be glad that you did it is such a great game to play. #findingkingstones.
hey buddies awesome video! I really have a lot of videos to catch up Owners! I can't wait!
I know you guys have a lot of ideas on your next video, but I will give you another one: 5 great Zelda bosses stuck in bad dungeons
YESSSSSSSS!!!! A new Owners video!! ♡
Jackie - ikr
Glad to see you this happy for it! :P
TheOwnersOfTriforce I'm always happy for your videos! My Switch came and Breath of the wild is amazing, I know I'll be playing it a ton.
:D
That's great, hope you enjoy the game :)
That's fair :) Yeah, they're really good ones!
5 Vah Ruta
4 Vah Rudania
3 Vah Medoh
2 Vah Naboris
1 Temple of Oceanhorn 2 for Nintendo Switch
Of course I'd place Skyview Temple higher, but I'm glad TP and OoT were up there. ALBW was a nice one too. I'm a big fan of getting Zelda out of the dungeon in ALttP.
Duh xD Yay, finally someone who'd want to place Hyrule Castle there! Well, I think there was another guy too, but still :D
Come one, come all, to the amazing Psychic Jackson! I can predict anything that's on your mind. As proof, I have already predicted that the Forest Temple in TP was gonna be #1. Don't be shy!
Whoa.... :O
100% agree with ur choices . forest temple of TP is definetly the best !!!
Yay! :D
My list:
5. Eastern palace Alttp
4. Skyview temple
3. Dragon roost cavern
2. woodfall temple
1. Forest temple TP
Eastern palace link to past is prettyawesome for a first one
Skyview is best :)
Fair enough, I guess :P

TheNerdyGinger *worst
@@CrysisOwnsHalo nah it's really good
@@screamingdemon1312 What's so great about it other than the Stalfos miniboss?
We are gonna make a list based on ALL final bosses in the series in the future. Yeah, it's very addicting!
Don't know if you'll read this but I'd like to see a top 5 final dungeons. I think that may be hard for you
you guys should make theories you guys seem knowledgeable enough about the series that you can find something everybody else missed and maybe get the community talking.
Like the list, keep it up! Odalwa = those sounds in the background of the music? Do you think so?
Not necessarily, but it is fun to think like that :) Many people also speculate that Bongo Bongo's behind the drum beat in the Shadow Temple music. It's kinda fun to imagine things like that, either if it's true or not :)
TheOwnersOfTriforce wow i love it that you comment to every positive comment!
We do what we can :)
I've been busy with BotW too. Heck, I just got my Special Edition today. (I really wanted that soundtrack, and yes, I have both versions of the game)
Sweet :D
Not trying to like advertise but if you want to know how busy, check my channel
I reckon my list would be something like;
1. Dragon Roost Cavern
2. Skyview Temple
3. Woodfall
4. Deku Tree
5. Deepwood Shrine
Kind of like your list, but I wasn't a fan of the Forest Temple in Twilight Princess because it kind of felt... weak as an actual dungeon.
I agree (mostly), but how could Dragon Roost Cavern not be on here?!?!
1) Dragon Roost Cavern
2) Skyview Temple
3) Wooded Temple spirit tracks.
4) i would go with forest temple the first dungeon of adult Link vesion from ocarina of Time.
5) forest temple twilight princess. I like it because of the dungeon itself not because of the monkey mission.
Hope you guys are the best. Up, awesome. Left, perfect. Right, the best video.
Good list, although we don't count the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time for this list. We're only thinking of the very first dungeons of each game :)
Thanks!
Oops, I didn't know that.
Mark my words. One day there will be a Zelda game in which the first dungeon is considered the best in the game
Hah, that might actually happen sometime!
Would you be able to do a dungeon or boss ranking for Link's Awakening?
Thanks,
Some random guy on the internet
We have made a boss ranking already (though, it's really old and only with screenshots, no video clips...)
A dungeon ranking won't happen, though.
hey how can i get in touch with you
Hey. We respond to our comments, so this is one way.
I think by get in touch with you Jesse here was actually hitting on you maybe? Lol
Sorry i haven't been here at the start i was buzy playing botw so yea, how is botw owners?
5) yea this one is such a good dungeon for the first one, becouse it doesn't feel like a tutorial and its challenging
4) i honestly loved this dungeon it has geat puzzles and the boss is amazing cuz its just a normal chu chu
3) ehh i'm not really a fan of this dungeon but i must say they do use the deku mask good
2) yes the first dungeon of my favorite game of all time, but it was too easy, but i loved the boss gohma and it kinda became a thing in zelda games after that
1) ehh i mean i liked the monkey mechanic but i didn't feel like i was having too much fun, and i just find myself thinking: i wish i was at the other dungeons, but i guess its okay
Anyway great list, cya another time guys! Have fun with botw
I know i will xD
It's awesome! :)
5) Yup.
4) Right? People always complain about the boss "just" being a regular ChuChu. We think that idea is really good!
3) But...it's a great dungeon :P
2) It really is easy, but still did things really well.
1) Dude... ;)
Thanks, you too! :P
you were in the stream cool
well well well looks like you found another great channel
Peenbegoon you changed your name again?
Clorox Bleach can I drink you? my life is getting shittier, and I need to end my suffering
You guys should do a breath of the wild vid soon! i can't wait XD. Also Vah Medoh was a good first dungeon i chose to do first in Breath of the wild. Also ive been playing that game for 2 weeks straight now so im obsessed with it.
We have to at least finish the main story first, though :P We haven't done that yet.
Alright that makes sense. i kinda speedrun just to get the main quest done and spoilers out of the way
That's smart, but we wanna take our time :) And we've actually managed to avoid spoilers just fine (which we thought would be much harder than this!)
You guys should make a first boss ranking list would be cool to see
If you'd just check the list sorted with the newest videos first, then you'd just have to look for five older videos down the line to find our Top 5 First Bosses video...
TheOwnersOfTriforce Gutted I don't have a switch only heard good things about BotW
Oh, hope you'll get it sometime then!
10:35 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I feel so excluded from all of Hyrule
Windfall was easily the best. But the Forest Temple (TP) And Eastern Palace (Alttp/Albw)
please don t hate, especially for number 1
10: Eastern Palace (assuming its the first dungeon in ALttP)
9: Fire temple (Phantom hourglass)
8: Inside great deku tree
7: Hyrule castle (assuming its the first dungeon in ALttP)
6: Deepwood Shrine
5: Forest temple (TP)
4: Woodfall temple
3: Dragon roost cavern (assuming its the 1st dungeon in Wind Waker)
2: Skyview temple
1: forsa... oh my god I forgot something, wait a second
(puts on magical armor)
(Casts Nayru's love)
(Presses mirror shield button)
1: Forsaken fortress (assuming it is the first dungeon in Wind Waker)
There's no reason for us to hate :P We like the Forsaken Fortress, no biggie! Of course it's arguable which one's really the first dungeon, but we're not blaming you.
You guys should really make another video
We're very busy these days and won't be able to do it for another month or so...
Well that sucks
So ownersoftriforce how's your progress going to Breath of the wild. I'm already at my 2nd divine beast
I've done all 4 beasts and gone through Hyrule Castle. Last time I spoke to Owner 2, he had finished 3 of the beasts. We've made great progress, but videos won't come out anytime soon. We have a lot of busy times ahead :/
- Owner 1
Nice. I can't wait to see your opinions
Welp i've just beaten all the 4 divine beasts but there is still alot of things i want to do before i go to hyrule castle and fight the final boss.
But i won't tell you what my favorite beast is because i don't want spoilers but i will rank them when or if the dungeon ranking video for botw comes out
Oh yeah, there are tons of stuff to do! :P
When are you guys gonna make a new video?
Probably not for at least another month, unfortunately...
TheOwnersOfTriforce okay
TheOwnersOfTriforce oh thank god. Lol I was worried you guYs weren't
i miss u guys :(
Welcome back :)
You have good opinions on the dungeons, but I really didn't get what you mean with Woodfall Temple being "another sidequest"? It's a really solid dungeon :)
No apology needed! We all have lives outside of UA-cam :) Do that if you feel like it. Aw, hope you manage to avoid spoilers and enjoy the game then :)
Yeah, it's crazy :p Thanks!
We try :p It's getting harder, though, as the channel's more popular than ever before!
Yup :p
